I've been going here for years whenever I have a reason to eat in Ardmore, this is one of my favorite places. It's like Contemporary-Southern-Fusion food. If it was open in OKC I'd definitely go there a lot. I highly recommend the "Frueben" which is fried tilapia with homemade cole slaw, served on rye bread. Oh and they usually give a complementary beignet with a tomato jam and it is so yummy. They have a great brunch menu I've seen, but never had the pleasure of experiencing that looks delicious. If your there on Sunday try out the "Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict" I've been salivating over that idea for awhile. LOVE IT!

Food was pretty good and was pretty fitting for the room. Fairly classed up an intimate but no real dress code to speak of. The Benedict was just fine for a brunch item and the fried chicken brunch dishes looked outstanding, though I haven't had a chance to try them. Tip: Skip the Mimosas and go for a bottle. if you're going to drop that sort of cash on a beverage, might as well get a little mid-day loose in the process. Like a sir!

The last thing an honest person wants to deal with is somebody accusing them of stealing something…read moreand forcing them to go somewhere further to buy something they could've bought already... So I walk into this store not knowing what I wanted to buy because of course there's a lot of options to choose from. While trying to make a decision I guess according to her I moved a certain way that made me look suspicious. So she confronted me and asked if I just tried to do that. I didn't know what she was talking about at first but after she asked me again I could tell she was thinking I must of attempted to steal something. So I raised my hands up innocent like trying to show her my whole body and that I didn't take anything. I was calmly telling her that I didnt do anything. She ended up still asking me to leave without ever knowing if I actually stole something. Before I left I asked her if she could check the cameras so I could just go back to buying something. She told me she wouldn't check the cameras for that. She gave me no chance to show her I wasnt trying to steal from her! You can be the nicest person alive with the best intentions and a wallet full of cash but I guess still get asked to leave if she's feeling a certain way.
