Walk-in for a simple 2 word tattoo maybe 15 minutes was charged $150! Overheard another tattoo artist tell a customer minimum was $100. My fault for not asking in advance. He didn't mention the price until I was in the chair with the stencil on my arm. Awkward timing. "Integrity" not so much. be aware ask in advance. read more

I found Moises Esposito because my cousin, who moved here a year ago, got a tattoo of a quote on her spine, which not only looked incredible but healed so well and was so delicate. I planned to get my collarbone tattooed and didn't want anyone who didn't have impeccable line work. So when I planned a trip to Colorado Springs I wanted to get him to tattoo me. Especially with the fact that with COVID it's been incredibly hard to find a tattoo artist whose books are open and they're good! He quoted me for our tattoos for my collarbone, two arm tattoos, my Viking Inguz and my cousin's Unalome and semi colon. They were all smaller tattoos but they were easy tattoos and an artist needs to be paid for their time! Also, being from Portland, his rates were absolutely fair. He also quoted me about $100 more than he charged me which was a bonus. He's super nice and friendly, which I never expect from an artist as most are quiet and reserved. He high fived me and said I did great after. Which I've never gotten (though I have loads of tattoos and lots of big ones I wuss out EVERY time I get new ink!) from any other artist. So thanks for your patience and kindness. You made is ridiculously easy to communicate via your Instagram and to make sure we were set for our appointment. We showed up and Moises got to work on designing my star and sun, originally I was going to have him copy another artist's designs but he is so good I wanted a stamp of his authentic work on my tattoos. I LOVE the sun and star he drew out. They're unique to anything else I have. My favorite thing about him was that he has a super light touch. I was NERVOUS AF about having my collarbone tattooed and it was pretty unremarkable as far as pain went. I'm not gonna lie my new sun hurt quite bad close to my elbow but it was small and easy. His style is so simple and beautiful. I really love all of my tattoos so much from today. If you're a tattoo virgin, I feel like he'd be perfect for you, since he has such a light touch. If you're a vet, go see him for those difficult tattoos because I bet they won't hurt AS much. I'll update after a few days for healing but as far as right now I'm totally in love. I'll also be back if my cousin is still living in CO next year! read more

I was hoping to go in today and get more tattoos done by him but he wasn't working; fortunately I met Jonathan and he did 4 tattoos on me all in one day. Went here with another couple friends all looking to get matching tattoos. It was my first so I was super excited. They made us wait till around 1am for Gannon (who claims he looks like Seth Rogan) in case you still go in you know who to stay away from- anyway I went first he talked me into something I didn't want because it would be easier...I wanted a triangle...how much easier can it get?!! So I did the diamond he suggested, which meant my boyfriend did the same...we healed horribly I called back a few months later in November to talk to him about maybe a touch up or something for the both of us, now it's April and I haven't heard back messages on insta and left my info over phone. We are both now considering having them just covered up, and our new favorite place is Sinister Tattoo on platte. Goat and Mark are cool and do AMAZING work! Chris was recommended to me by one of my husband's friends to get a tattoo covered up. My husband and I visited the shop, Chris was off that day and the guy working stated for me to write down my name and phone number and he would get it to Chris. Gannon mutijated my body and none of them will been admit to it so I can use their "guaranteed work" policy to somehow improve my quality of life now. He dug really deep on a tattoo on my FINGER. Several people stated he did without my prompting. I'm so ashamed to use my hands for anything. When I went in, he tried to act like it was just poor aftercare even though I have nine tattoos that healed much nicer. Oh, did i mention that all those comments were within the next two days after the tattoo? There was no time for aftercare to mess it up for you to see the artist went to deep and made crooked lines with his freehand tattoo. I'm sad that I used to boast about my good memories getting tattoos here. My hand is messed up for the rest of my life. Court case is definitely pending. read more

I was in Colorado for only a few days. My daughter and I wanted to get tattoos and based on the reviews from Yelp, I called them to make an appointment. I spoke with an artist who said he needed to wait and see if if one of his other appointments was going to come in. If that appointment cancelled he would be able to make room for my daughter and I. He said he would call me back in 45 minutes tops. Nearly 2 hours later I called back only to find out that not only did his appointment show up, but he "forgot" to call me back. They seemed disinterested in gaining new business. But it worked out ok, I ended up going to Pens and Needles where I was made to feel like a welcomed customer! Avoid this shop! We we lucky to have these artists downtown. Dave Wulff has been in the business for over 25 years and his team are willing to do custom pieces while working with your budget. Personally, I've had 3 sessions with Dave and he's demonstrated amazing skills (crazy use of color and he hand draws on his tattoos.. No small feat). They are also open late and on weekends, which is great for those of us with jobs. read more

The ONLY reason this review has two stars is because BJ is a good and kind artist who is helpful and very patient. We booked an appointment with Chris IN PERSON just to get a text that he booked over us only a couple hours before the actual appointment. The unprofessionalism is annoying and don't expect to ever actually get a decent appointment unless you use BJ because it'll be the longest wait of your life or you'll just get pushed back a few days. I've gone here twice for tattoos and had my complaints but kept silent- however nothing is more frustrating that getting an appointment cancelled last minute after making it days in advance with a limited time frame. read more
