I really enjoyed the flammekuchen. The salad was good too! I'd recommend this spot to anyone who likes good food and a nice night outside in great weather. Super busy place and great for people watching if you want to sit outside. The manager waited on us personally. His lovely ex wife and beautiful daughter chatted with us during our stay. We all tried a local bier flight. Everything I tried was excellent. Biers d'Or Flandres (Lager), Triple Secret des Moines (Belgium triple) was their special and was excellent, La Keriche (fruit), BS Genepi (fruit), Biere de Lion (Belgium Golden Blonde), Blanche (hefeweizen) and La Blonde Pure Malt (Belgium Blonde). One of my colleagues got a steak and said it was fine. Myself and the others tried the beef and chicken burgers. Everything was cooked great. It's a great location. The beer was pretty good as was my Rosti bernois. It was a potato cheese dish with bacon on top. It was a bit greasy, but for a bar it was on par. They also have huge beer dispensers, I think up to 3L or 5L. read more

A nice spot if your close to the train. Service was fine. The food (we shared the fondue and the rosit) was good. They brew and serve their own beer, which is pretty cool (despite it all being wheat beer). And for a Tuesday night it was packed. Why not a 5? I think their prices are a bit high for what you get. I read the Yelp reviews and decided to come try this place. I was alone and completely FOTP (Fresh Off The Plane) and clueless about French and euros. I say this in past tense but it is today. I'm still clueless. Nevertheless, I went to this place and was unsure because the menu was in French (obviously) so I used the Google Translate app where you take a pic of something and it translates it for you (best app ever btw, for ignorant Americans like myself). I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait in line or sit down, but right as I stood in line (place was busy but only a few ppl in front of me), an employee asked me (in French) if I was dining in or getting take out (I know what he said because after I looked helpless and confused he started speaking English). I really must learn French. Anyway, he sat me down at a table and told me the table was just for me. Very nice guy, and friendly. I gave this place four stars because it took like ten minutes before someone came to take my order. Then fifteen to get my food. And like anther ten minutes after asking to pay, which was confusing because the guy profusely assured me I could pay from the table and he'd come get my card. After seeing everyone else walk up to pay after they ate, I ended up doing the same. I think maybe he thought (knew?) I was clueless and was being nice and trying to help a sister out. Anyway, nice guy but they took forever. Maybe that's just the way they do it here? I don't think so though, cuz I saw other people getting fast service. I'll chalk it up to them being busy though and my table being out of eyesight from the food counter. It was a bit hectic but everything became okay once my food came. I ordered the "Kafka," which (according to Google Translate) was a sandwich (a toasted tortilla/pita bread thing) with meat inside and parsley and tomatoes and onions and some hummus. IT WAS AMAZING. I mean, delicious and fresh and the hummus was amazing and the veggies were fresh.. And the meat flavorful. Delicious and only $9. Totally worth it. This place was great. We'd go back in a heartbeat. The beer which is brewed by them, if really outstanding, we enjoyed the Agave and Citron-Verte which was really unique. And we also tried a beer sampler which wasn't on the menu, however I showed the owner a photo from another Yelp reviewer of what'd we'd call in the states, a "flight" of beers. We started with the Fondue which really hit the spot and then had Rostini with bacon and some sort of toasted flat-bread which was really good -- like a pizza without all the dough. Overall it was very pleasant with seating outside for the ubiquitous Geneva cigarette crowd, and comfortable seating and atmosphere inside. Next time I'm in the area, I'll stop back. Les Brasseurs is a kind of touristy place and not like a hidden spot in town. Beers are very good so are the flammekueches, I definitely recommend you trying one of those there! Service is not the best maybe as the place is huge and hard for them to make a good waiter service with so many people. It's definitely a place to reserve for big groups as you can fit a lot of people, but yet, you gotta reserve in advance because it's always packed. read more

This place is across the street from the Geneva main rail station and screams "tourist trap"- I typically avoid these types of places but it gets great reviews in French (a good tell) and was one block from the hotel I was staying at.... so I gave it a try.... I had the 1/4 Roast Chicken dinner with Fries. It was absolutely amazing. Unlike giant factory fed American chickens, the portion size was perfect and the taste was a of a naturally raised chicken pecking in the fields. It was not advertised as being "bio" or "organic" but the taste was a giveaway. It was roasted to perfection - not dried out and stringy and the accompanying gravy was exquisite. It was definitely made from pan juices - not some goonk from a can or powder mix. This place is known for its beers but I did not try any, i instead paired the chicken with a nice light red French wine which i can't remember but both together were perfect and evoked fond memories of Brasserie food I ate ages ago in Paris. The place was not too busy on my visit but it is very large and I can imagine it gets crazy during main eating hours. It has a nice vibe and the waitstaff while harried, were friendly and fast when asked for something. Most staff seemed multi-lingual as well. read more

Let's trick the Americans. If it had been only one thing it might have been an honest mistake. I doubt it. Their "lager" costs MORE than their Weissbier. I ordered a Lager (they name their lager something else like Pure Malt). We discussed with the waiter their selections. We dont speak French. But it was clear I ordered the pricier Lager and paid for it with a credit card. What arrives sure tasted like the fruity Weissbiers common enough in Europe. Looked noticeably cloudy. See picture. Seeing this is a brewpub I didn't make a fuss thinking perhaps this is how their "lager" tastes and looks. Then I did order another bier, this time a Weissbier. On arrival (different waiter) it had the same fruity flavor and cloudiness as the first so-called lager. I knew it. See picture. We paid cash this second time and were due change. Not much but the waiter was nowhere to be seen after that. The feeling was like we've been tricked. Serve the naive American the cheaper Weissbier yet charge him for the lager. He wont know the difference. Beware. The Wiessbiers, both, were good. And pricey. read more

Lively place but its a place to drink beer. Don't go for the food because it sucks. I could prepare better food.

Food is ok. Staff is not client-friendly and did not point out special deals (eg burger and drink 2.- off) instead took two separate orders.

So this is the 2nd or 3rd time I've been here, and it is ALWAYS busy. And apparently for good reason. The food pretty good, service typical but not outstanding (they're too short staffed). But everyone always seems to like the varied set of dishes we order (we typically go as a group of at east 6-7). Menu has decent selection, but not huge. Pizza to Swiss fare. It also doesn't hurt that it's across the street from the main train/bus station. read more

Les Brasseurs is a big microbrewery / restaurant opposite Geneva's Cornavin train station. Beer here is ordered in towers by the colour and litre. If eating, go for the flammenkuchen an allegedly local delicacy, an addictive flat cheese less pizza. Of these, La Indiene (chicken curry) is by far the best. The clientele are a weird mix of international visitors, stray physicists from CERN and local underagers - you can't really feel out of place. read more

Everybody living in Geneva knows where Les Brasseurs is so it's a good meet up place. It is relatively cheap, depending on what you get. I loved the pizza, it's a bit different from traditional pizza but it's still very good! They also have great "blonde" beer. Perfect for a friends night out and family gatherings. read more

Les Brasseurs is part of a small chain in the French speaking part of Switzerland. The Geneva branch serves decent food just opposite the main railway station - which can be a dodgy place to find good food - and in fact a dodgy place full stop. The speciality of the house is the flammekueches - a sort of French flat pizza which make a quick and excellent lunch and comes with a variety of toppings. Service and atmosphere were both good - try and get one of the booths as the main restaurant area can get noisy - especially when the 5 litre pipes of beer come out. read more

3stars for the great beer. Service is tolerable cuz you came for the beer. They have a 'degustation of palette' - 5 glass sample of their beer. Can do a take away of the beer and you can have a 'growler'as a souvenir. Decent food. Go during the day in the week or before 7 at night. Otherwise be prepared to wait. Drink a 3L tower with friends. Every beer is good. Always busy. read more
