Well, we're going to be watching this man for 3 years. And then when he sells the home, we were supposed to get the proceeds. And\nPay off his debts.Well, we hired another lawyer to finalize the probate. She said there was no paper signed and we had a 5 month window. Why didn't this lawyer tell us that the incompetence? While legal help can be expensive, I can genuinely attest that the fees we were charged were reasonable for the service provided-the one time we had an issue with an item on the Bill, my wife spoke with Kristin's assistant Alana and straightened out the charge in a few minutes. We eventually got pulled into a Probate Case which was contested in another area of Michigan, so it wasn't convenient continuing to use Kristen's services. She provided good service to line us up with an attorney in the area of the Court who did a good job handling us and bringing the case to closure. Let's face it, dealing with Probate issues is usually about as much fun as having teeth pulled. You're often locked in contentious battle with siblings and other family and that can be pretty unpleasant-it sure was for us. Throw in that any engagement of legal services is expensive by the standards of most of us, that can make it very stressful.
