I was given the excuse they currently do not have an office manager to read their emails. I should have known better, but out of desperation, I scheduled a consulation appt with possible wisdom teeth extraction. Despite the very small waiting area with a bathroom in the same space and two frustrated patients already complaining, I stayed. While waiting, I witnessed a dental assistant allow a sedated patient to stumble unassisted out the front door. This is a severe liability and a blatant patient safety violation. When I was finally called in 30 minutes past my appointment time, the assistant was cold, unfriendly & looked like she hated her job. Once I saw Dr. Reznick & mention the possibility of extractions & he looked at me as if I was crazy. He refused to perform the extraction, claiming because I was 50, I required starting Amoxicillin a day prior to procedure. I've had several outpatient procedures & elective surgeries done & have never been told this. He solely based the need for antibiotics based on my age, rather than medical necessity. I don't think he even reviewed the medical history I listed on the forms. After the consult, I was taken to the front desk where I was handed a tablet to sign for payment without explaining any charges & hiding a second option until I caught it myself. The fees charged are inflated at $869.60 or $788.60. I walked out and went to Atlanta Oral Sx for another consult. The estimate for the exact same procedure with IV sedation under the same insurance came out to $395 or $194 witout IV. How is it that the estimates varied by hundreds of dollars using the same insurance! Sage Dental provides dismal care, unsafe conditions, and price-gouging tactics. Avoid their offices at all costs.

The problem is the warranty only pays for the screw not for replacing it, so I would have to pay 500.00 to get it put back in, We had already spent a great deal of money so I was not expecting to pay for something not our fault.
