It was truly the best dental experience I've ever had. I'll keep making the 5 hour drive to see Dr Cameron when I need any dental work, even minor cleanings or repairs. Reception: When I stepped into the office at Aspen Dental, I was greeted by a warm smile and a genuine caring attitude. I was given new patient paperwork to complete. Almost as soon as I had handed the clipboard back to the receptionist a dental assistant was out to get me. Cleanliness: When I entered the exam/work area, I was extremely surprised with how incredibly clean their workspace is kept! All instruments were in sealed packages indicating they had been thoroughly sanitized and not just rinsed and laid out for the next patient. The floor and countertops were sparkling and there was not a spec of dust anywhere. State-of-the-Art Technology: The technology they use is simply the best, which makes for better, less painful care. Their X-Rays have gone completely digital, allowing the dentist to take multiple X-rays throughout a procedure and from different angles to really get a complete picture of what they're dealing with. They utilize an advanced laser for some more simple procedures, virtually eliminating the need for the drill. There was other technology that I hadn't seen in other places and didn't know what it was, which just showed me that Aspen Dental is invested in their patients and invested in making dentistry less painful and more of a positive experience overall. The Dentist: I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Blake Cameron due to his many, many 5-Star extremely positive reviews on HealthGrades. He deserves every one of those stars and more! He is an incredible dentist and an awesome person. I feel like he truly cares for his patients and just wants to help them obtain ultimate oral health. A lot of dentists are in it for the money and only that, but I think Dr Cameron really has a caring personality and genuinely wants to help his patients feel better about their mouths. He took the time to get to know me and my problem. He took time to explain the entire procedure and there was never a moment while he was working on my mouth that I didn't know what was happening and didn't feel entirely confident in his knowledge and his skills. I normally hate shots in my mouth. I feel like dentists are generally impatient and just squeeze the anesthetic in as fast as possible and don't care if it hurts because you'll be numb soon anyway. Dr Cameron very carefully numbed me up without any pain. I was then numb only in that tooth group, not in my whole cheek, lips, and face. It was like magic! He made sure I was thoroughly numb in the area before picking up the drill and kept checking back with me though out my root canal. He spent about 2 hours working on my tooth, using his laser, and making sure everything was perfect in the tooth before sealing it back up. He was so gentle and caring the entire time. I never felt like he was rushed or being rough trying to get through it faster. He was very methodical, taking X-rays at several points to ensure everything was going perfectly. Once he sealed the tooth back up, I noticed how perfectly my tooth felt. He was able to form the tooth to fit in my bite perfectly. I could not be happier with how my first root canal experience turned out thanks to Aspen Dental!! Finally, the price: They accept most insurance plans and have an insurance specialist who knows what she is talking about when it comes to dental insurance and billing. With the quality of the office and equipment I was expecting them to be slightly more expensive than other area dentists, but I was pleasantly surprised that for my procedure overall, Aspen Dental was about $300 less than other area offices!! They made sure to give me an estimate on cost before they began any work, something I appreciated. In the end, this was an incredibly positive dental experience. I will always go back to Dr Cameron at Aspen Dental. They're definitely the best place I've ever visited for dental work! He was hurrying and was very rough in my mouth upon returning. He had me sitting upright before I could to tell him the filling needed polishing. He did polish it after being told. He called the next day to check on me and I told him I was frustrated he left in the middle of my filling. He said it was to give my jaw a break. When I said I thought it was unprofessional he then said "I was dealing with an emergency" I do not believe that and told him that. He then said " well maybe Aspen dental is not a good fit for you if you don't like us leaving in the middle of procedures to see other patients. He is correct about that. I will never go back.

This crown is absolutely beautiful. It's a work of art. It has been perfect for the better part of a decade that I've had it; perfectly aligned to the tooth, positioned well, prepared well. It has never hurt, never had puffy gums around it, and I usually forget it's there until I actually see it. I literally get compliments on this particular crown every time I visit other dentists. (I have moved and her practice is out of my insurance network, otherwise I'd still be seeing her) From what I remember of our appointment she was kind, and took the time to answer my questions and explain the process to me. Celeste's attention to detail is phenomenal. And it didn't hurt. All these years later I remember Celeste was blessed with tiny hands, which doesn't necessarily make or break a dentist, but it sure helps! When I arrived at the appointment on Tuesday, August 6th, the charge was over $100.00 more. When I told them I was disappointed that the charge was so much more, I am unemployed and had budgeted for the original (signed contract) amount, they hummed and hawed and said, " Oh our rates have increased and sometimes the system doesn't catch it". Wrong. Just wrong. I got the contract less than 7 days prior, and that contract should have been honored. I can't do business with this sloppy bookkeeping.

I'm curious what they'll do when I get the retainers and they don't fit at all. Terrible experience. I have spent 6+ years getting my teeth straight and they messed it up within 7 weeks. The best part of this office, besides of being very professional, is no waiting time. I have grown accustomed to waiting for an hour when visiting a doctor, but at Platinum, they take you right in if you come a few minutes early. Finally, no long waiting time! Dr. Bills genuinely cares about his patients, ranging all ages. He helps you to find the best treatment plan, considering the effectiveness and cost at the same time. He is very friendly and fun, a great quality if we bring the little one. Over all, I am very happy that we found Dr. Bills. I am sure Dr. Gardener is wonderful too, but so far we have primarily worked with Dr. Bills. As for the facility itself, the office is spacious and bright, which gives a pleasant feel and less stressful. It doesn't have those overhead TVs or children's play area like some dentists have, but that's not really in our evaluation matrix at all. His staff is friendly, and not overbearing like you find at Wells Fargo. Jo is one of the nicest and most gentle hygienist I've met. Whenever I get my teeth done, I compare my new dentist to Dr. John. He often shared hunting photos or snowmobiling stories with me. I remember he once called my parents to offer two tickets to the hill-climbs for us kids since we were always so interested. He is relaxed, honest and up front about your health. I respect him, and looked forward to his visits before I moved out of state.
