Aside from the awful experience I had in dealing with "them", I just a notice that I'm being fined more than $10,000 because Sandy flat-out lied to me and told me that my Trust return wasn't due until August 15th. Letter from the IRS says it was due April 15th and, since Sandy never got around to filing it anyway, I had to have someone else do it in September, so I'm on the hook for the 10 grand. Thanks, Sandy! I'll be reporting you to the state accountability board. read more

The tax preparation service received from Tax Chicks was poor. The needed tax documents were provided to Tax Chicks in January 2023 and the returns haven't been successfully filed to date. The business returns were filed incorrectly and the office was extremely slow in their response to rectify problems or address my concerns. My frequent calls to the firm regarding the status of the filings weren't returned. I rate my overall experience with Tax Chicks less than one, if possible. read more

All I heard over and over again it was Robin Ritter! they would say you know, Robyn, she owns Paperwork Pros and she is only a block away from you go talk to her and see if she can help you. I decided to put my pride to the side and reach out for some help. I emailed her and asked when I could come over to her office and when I got there, I felt like I was sitting in front of my mother. She talk to me with such kindness and explained everything to me that I needed to hear. And I will say that when I thought I old money I ended up getting back money. I needed to set up an IRA before taxes were due in 2022. I called Hermann about 7-10 days before…read morethe due date. I spoke to mr Hermann. I asked if we had enough time to set up the IRA before the tax return due date. He said yes, absolutely. He told me to make an appointment to come in his office. apparently he was too important to make the appointment and he transferred me to his admin. Of course she wasn't available and I had to leave a message. So far I'm not impressed. Especially after hearing all the ads on 92.5 radio about how great they are. So I get my appointment several days later and go in. He proceeds to tell us how committed he is to his customers and how 'great' he is. so we complete all the paper work and he tell us the 'paper work has to be processed'. What ever that means. So then the next day is Thursday before Good Friday I get a phone call, voice mail message, saying we can't set up your IRA in time you need to go to the bank and set up an IRA and then after the Holiday we can transfer the money into account with us. So now I have to take time off from work to rush to the bank with my husband to set up these IRA accounts before the banks are closed on Friday. Thanks you really know how to talk the talk but walking the walk not so much. Hey maybe if he had made my appointment he would have know the time constraint and could have told me then there was enough time to get this done.

[UPDATE BELOW] What can I say? In order to make use of a…read moreunique ActiveCampaign functionality I needed, I *had* to use the official ActiveCampaign forms (instead of another opt-in forms plugin). The first problem was how ugly the default AC forms were. The second problem was how ill equipped I am to handle the custom coding required to make them look good. The third problem was getting the newly designed form to display perfectly across all devices/screen sizes. I found Viktor in a Facebook group we're both in and after a little back and forth, I decided to ask if he'd be willing to take the job. In just a couple of days he had the form looking spot on and had it implemented on my Wordpress install (using the builder and plugins I was already using). He was patient with my rambling questions and thoughts, and quickly made a few revisions when I asked. Now it works like a charm. He not only provided me with all the code and instructions I needed, but I offered him access to my site and he plugged everything in for me and made sure it worked. Just what I needed! One last thing: the price was very fair. He's now at the top of my list when I'm looking for someone to help me solve these kinds of problems. I'm already working on another request. :) UPDATE: I just reached out to Viktor to ask for his help with something new that has my wife and I stumped. We are very close to launching a new project, but the tech side continues to throw wrenches in the works. These things have been frustrating for us but no problem for Viktor. I hesitate to say this next part because I don't want people trying to take advantage of Viktor, but since I have seen others post similar things I will add it. Viktor has been extremely generous with his time, providing free advice and settings adjustments, etc. that I was more than willing to pay for. Frankly, if he had a "tip jar" somewhere, I would be sending him money when he refuses to invoice me. LOL!
