This place is a joke! They are thief's! Have been going here for the last 5 years and never had a problem. Last two years we don't get our return with no explanation and with no help from this place. Finally found out they had changed our bank account number to someone else's completely different bank account , not one or two numbers off, but a completely new account, and had our last two years tax returns go to a total " strangers" account. I'm sure he knew the IRS wouldn't help us either so they went ahead and did what they did to us. Please take your business somewhere else! This place is no good! Disappointed. I called about a week ago to make an appointment and again called back 5 days ago to ensure I can come in for an appointment at 3PM on Friday 5-9-2025. Waste of my time as when I arrived, the door was locked and I called their number multiple times and i cannot leave a voicemail. Let me start off by saying this guy Oscar is very shady and unprofessional. He calls himself the tax doctor but he's more like the tax nurse. He's not a doctor of doing taxes. He messed up my taxes by putting single instead of putting head of household. He even told me out of his own mouth if he doesn't like u he'll put whatever to mess up your return. I've been doing business with him for years but ever since 2021 he's been slacking. I've even gotten an audit going to him and when I approach him with different issues he tries to shame me for calling. Just unprofessional. Oscar Doesn't like to return phone calls which will leave u wondering if u have a issue with your return. He plays loud music in the office like it's a nightclub while doing your taxes. He's bound to make a mistake from not concentrating. I recommend staying far away from this place. I can't repeat enough very shady and unprofessional. He just told me today to go somewhere else instead of trying to help a paying customer. Poor customer service. He definitely deserves zero stars. I recommend going to a place where it's more than one tax preparer. He's the only one filing the returns so if you have an issue. He's quick to tell u to go somewhere else read more

Extremely unprofessional!! I'm writing this review for my cousin, who was out of the county for some time. She was referred to the "tax doctor" by a friend. She called him, gave him all the info he needed and was told her taxes were filed in early March. When she arrived back in the US two months later we stopped by to pick up her irs return as well as copies of her taxes. She needed her copies as she had an interview with immigration coming up to bring her family to the US. She has waited 3 years for her immigration interview. Now where to start... - first off after seeing her tax return copies I figured out that the tax doctor had just filed them then and there. This caused an issue with her immigration case as the taxes were submitted late. I questioned him about why the tax returns weren't showing up on the irs website even though he swore the taxes were filed two months back. He struggled to find some lies to throw at us. Here's the worst thing though.. My cousin checked the irs site and saw what her return was going to be. The tax doctor claimed he would only charge $130 for the service but when she picked up her check (which was a cashiers check) she realized that he was keeping about $400 of her money. Once again we questioned him and his response was " The IRS works with Citi bank and they charge a $250 fee to write a check for you" WHAT!!! She eventually got her full refund back only after arguing and questioning him. I don't know if he thinks we are dumb and won't realize his lies but this guy gives the vibe that he scams people and many don't realize it. Short story we will NOT be going back here at all. Not only is he a liar but he won't even apologize for his mistakes. He just tries to throw more lies and hopes people are naive enough to believe them. read more

Tax Doctor ladies were all very informative and friendly. I showed up the Wednesday before tax day April 18th and let me tell you they were smiling and very happy as busy as they were. They had about 20 people waiting, I waited about 1hr and a half as it is walk in and no appointments. I was able to share my documents with them and they provided a free estimate. The ladies there were helping in asking if I had documents that would help lower what was owed and also how to fill out my tax forms so that it could be more beneficial to me. They also shared that I could enroll in an IRA. I was able to get all my documents share with them my husbands documents too and all he had to do was return to just sign. Even though he showed up Saturday and it was a 2.30 hr wait. Overall ten out ten service. They were helpful! And will go to them again. Reasonable price as well. read more

It's so hard to find a good trusted tax person, I've been here a few times since I moved, I asked simple questions that where not answered, I'm definitely not coming back, ummm how much are you charging me??? they didn't tell me so I called a few days later because my coworker wanted to know and possibly go, anyhow eventually everyone at work was tracking their check I tried and I couldn't because the amount I was putting was incorrect, when I picked up my check I asked how much I was charged the girl got very nervous and said he charges everyone $130. this place doesn't give you a peace of mind, make it clear and give a receipt, I should have just walked out, does that mean he just charged me whatever he wanted off of my check??? it makes me doubt them, don't come here! read more
