When I reached out to the office for clarification, I was told it would cost an additional $250 just to review the return and address questions or corrections. I do not believe it is appropriate to charge a client to fix or explain a potential error made during the original preparation. What's more concerning is that I was told that because I reviewed and signed the return, they are not responsible for assisting further. This is unrealistic...clients rely on professionals for their expertise, especially for complex areas like depreciation, which are not easily understood or verified without specialized knowledge. This experience reflects very poor customer service and lack of accountability. I would not recommend this firm and would advise others to seek a preparer who stands behind their work.
