I have used these guy for several years now. But, the lady I used dropped the ball big time. They never submitted my taxes even after I paid them. I called hella times and I never received a response. The next year I came back and they offered no reason why and they did discount my next years taxes but, only by 30 bucks which is crazy. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTI! I went in to the office without an appointment, "my tail between my legs" feeling defeated and overwhelmed. I had 3 years of back taxes. Happy Black History Month! Beware Vacaville! Never spend your hard earned money where you are NOT respected and valued! Have you ever met someone that you immediately felt was under serving and over charging you? Do NOT go to Taxes and Book if you are college educated, African American, a veteran, Female or a Senior Citizen! We found them on Yelp and are ditching them on Yelp!! The so called "office manager" did not listen and quickly turned loud, disrespectful and obnoxious. I never raised my voice so I was stunned. The tax preparer did not prepare our taxes, passed blame, and didn't give us any valuable advice regarding a tax exemption, so we went back a week later and tried to retrieve our documents. Even though they Cancelled the $112 hidden preparation fee for what, I don't know, I was sharply told to take my W2's and get out!!! No thank you for choosing us, thank you for your time or sorry we couldn't help you! I feel like my time is valuable too. They wasted my time and verbally assaulted me for not loving bad service, unprofessionalism, and hidden fees. Those days are over!!!! read more

This place seemed great at first. But after going there for the third year they got absolutely rotten. so searched elsewhere. Then come to find out they had done my wife's and my taxes incorrect for the last three years. And the customer service has went way down hill. No call back after repeated messages. No explanation of what they had doneNothing! Definitely never going back here. Be careful is what I have to say. My non profit taxes for a local school PTO were due Nov 15 so I delivered my paperwork to Andrea mid-September to make sure there was plenty of time. By early-Nov I called the office since I hadn't heard anything. My taxes were not even started. She had to file an extension at this point. There were some incomplete registrations on my end (not her fault) however, it was if she didn't even know what was required to complete the taxes. Each time I had to contact her, I would email her with no response. I would leave several messages and voicemails with no response. The only way I would even remotely get any answers was if I dropped by the office unannounced. Every time I would get any contact with her, there was always some reason for a delay and she would NEVER call me back. It was always me contacting her. I finally thought we were finished in March...6 months after I gave her my paperwork. In early July, turns out there was a state registration that wasn't done and she never caught it. Now I have to wait AGAIN for that to go through before my taxes are even complete. She told me on a Monday that it would take 10 seconds to complete the form. 7 days later I still hadn't heard back from her! I didn't know taxes took almost a year to do. Not one time in the last 10 month was there ever an apology on her part. At least it was expensive! I would NOT recommend her and will never be doing business with her again. I'm disappointed there is not a zero star rating. read more
