Yesterday, a female driver drove picked us up at noon in a black Taxi Coop car from Le Chateau Frontenac to take us to Gare du Palais. When I tried to pay with a credit card, she had a fit and said in French "Why don't you pay in cash?! It's only $11!" When I asked if they accepted credit cards, she said they did, but repeatedly REFUSED to take a credit card exasperatingly saying she preferred cash. I don't know if she was trying to skim cash from the company or hoping to get USD so it would convert to more for her to pocket, but it ended the short taxi ride on a negative. Just took a taxi from Old Quebec to the YQB airport. Driver didn't run the meter! Got there and would not take a credit card, cash only! The trip was $35 Canadian and would only take US$ at the same rate. So I had to pay with $40USD and he only gave me $5CAD change! I had no option but to pay! BE AWARE OF TAXI SCAMS! read more

Cab driver yelled into his cell phone for our 20 minutes drive to the airport. Then despite a flat rate of $35.10 from Zone A hotel to the airport, he overcharged us by nearly $10 and claimed he did not understand English pointing to the meter that should not have been on for a flat rate trip. The taxi did not show up event though I booked over 24 hours ahead. I called them 15 minutes after the agreed upon pickup time and was told that no vehicle has been dispatched because of a "computer error". I was forced to go to the airport by my own means to avoid missing my flight. It cost me an arm and a leg in parking fees. Upon my return I filed a complaint using their complaint system. I called a week later to follow up on the complaint and I was told it hasn't been processed yet. I called again another week later and was told to call one month later as they had a "complaint backlog". They said they would call me back once the complaint was processed. They never called back. I gave them enough opportunities to right the wrong. They've failed miserably at it at every time. I will not deal with them again. They are untrustworthy and have shown no signs of willingness to improve. read more

Left property in taxi. Told they would drop it off at hotel. The taxi driver did not. Numerous calls, fobbed off, ignored, lied to and basically no return of my property. Disgusting.
