What happened to companies that try to keep their customers. Moncton owners and managers simply don't care. Well, I care. I told the woman I was speaking with, that I am finished with White Cab. She said nothing. I take cabs everywhere in the winter. I am a senior and sometimes I fall. I find it sad that no one cares. I moved to Moncton 30 years ago. I rarely took cabs then, but over 20 years ago I sustained a workplace injury that will be with me for the rest of my life. I am a very good tipper, but I am not going to tip a driver when they try to rip me off.

A driver picked me up from bus station, could not lift my suitcase (it was not heavy) and I had to assist him putting it into trunk. To make matters worse, he had difficulty with English and understanding my address. I asked him if he understood English and he grunted "Arabic". It was an expensive drive home, considering I am a short distance. I was told later he must have used time and not distance metering. Not sure if that is accurate, however, he was getting the "stink eye" from drivers on the Causeway for driving extremely slow. He was not happy with his small tip not understanding I was less happy with the service! Before you scream racism, please be aware, it is important to be able to communicate in a service industry job.
