After using White cab for over 20 years, I am going to go with Air from now on. I am tired of them changing prices on the spot. But also, I find it startling that when I see bad reviews on Tripadvisor, there is a response from White Cab, (I presume). "Thank you". That's the response. What happened to companies that try to keep their customers. Moncton owners and managers simply don't care. Well, I care. I told the woman I was speaking with, that I am finished with White Cab. She said nothing. I take cabs everywhere in the winter. I am a senior and sometimes I fall. I find it sad that no one cares. I moved to Moncton 30 years ago. I rarely took cabs then, but over 20 years ago I sustained a workplace injury that will be with me for the rest of my life. I am a very good tipper, but I am not going to tip a driver when they try to rip me off. read more

I take cabs often because of my travels. Always disappointed that I end up with a driver with poor English skills and often, aggressive mannerisms. It does not matter which company you use. A driver picked me up from bus station, could not lift my suitcase (it was not heavy) and I had to assist him putting it into trunk. To make matters worse, he had difficulty with English and understanding my address. I asked him if he understood English and he grunted "Arabic". It was an expensive drive home, considering I am a short distance. I was told later he must have used time and not distance metering. Not sure if that is accurate, however, he was getting the "stink eye" from drivers on the Causeway for driving extremely slow. He was not happy with his small tip not understanding I was less happy with the service! I don't take taxi's a lot so this isn't a "well-rounded/well-informed" rating per say- BUT my one experience was enough that I will not call this cab company as I don't want to chamce seeing the driver who brought me home last... I was leaving a late shift (was around 4am) and my driver was a creep! Did the whole 20questions, compliment etc. style 'play' and I just used the excuse that I was exhausted and didn't have enough energy to make good conversation; he instantly began a phone call on his car Bluetooth to a woman he must've thought he had a better shot with (literally told her he was doing nothing and tried to get her do go to his place as I looked out the window! lol) But better than that she questioned 5minutes into the call "do you always keep your passengers #'s?" and when I went to pay as we arrived my home he tried 1 last time offering a ride to get some food before I go in- "free of charge" It was no big deal overall I left completely unharmed and that but it was super creepy and not worth the risk to call Whitecab anymore IMO read more

I had a really creepy cab on Dec 1 at night from Sobeys. He asked me how old I was..said I was very beautiful..Made uncomfortable compliments.. asked if I was single and said he was single and if I was single "we could hookup right now". Then he went on a rant on how he cant find anyone in Moncton etc.. I was so uncomfortable I ran out of the cab and literally almost forgot to pay. I felt so uncomfortable because I get a cab to drive me from point A to point B. I expect it to be professional especially when I'm paying 10x the gas.... Idk I will never call this company again. I wanted to call to complain but I kind of felt bad for the man but honestly it's probably the same man that rubbed the last comment review the wrong way. read more
