The driver WAS a pretty nice guy, but he seemed oblivious to the shabbiness of his vehicle. However, the price was definitely right. By a long shot. Dunno if I really would recommend this service to all the folk in my crowd. And I don't think I will use them again unless all other options fail.

The incident occurred when my son, who was at his grandmother's house, requested a ride to work through this company. His grandmother specifically asked for a driver who accepted Zelle, as she had successfully used this payment method with the company before. Upon arriving at my son's workplace, his grandmother sent the payment ($10.00) via Zelle to the driver's confirmed number--verified three times before the transaction was made. Although the payment was sent and a screenshot confirming the successful transaction was shown to the driver, he became aggressive when the funds did not appear instantly in his account. The driver began yelling at my son, demanding payment, despite having been shown proof. He then exited the vehicle and physically pushed my son. When my son tried to defend himself, the driver quickly got back into his car and drove away. The police were immediately notified, and charges have been filed. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. No one--especially a minor--should be subjected to such aggression. I hope this review serves as a warning to others. The driver was so involved with arguing with me about the war on terror, that he got into the left turning lane on Chastain at the corner of Busbee instead of the right turning lane, the route to my destination. Instead of safely rerouting himself, he swerved across four lanes with haste, endangering my life without apology. When I finally spoke with Brandon, the owner and former KSU student, he challenged my account and didn't offer an apology not refund. This cab company is not worthy of the name "Owl," which it was given to associate itself with KSU. If a small discount is worth your safety, be their guest, but remember: I warned you. UPDATED: an owl cab just pulled up to a bar sans passenger with the van's stereo so loud, that it was vibrating the tables on the patio. I called around to a few companies the night before my early morning flight and was told by them all I had to call 1.5 hours before I wanted to leave at 6:30am for the airport. That meant calling at 5am, and I sure as hell would not be up that early! When I called Atlanta Taxi Cab Service, I was happy to find out I could make a reservation and then not have to think at all the next morning to make a phone call when my brain surely would not be functional. The driver arrived exactly on time in the morning and was professional and courteous. Carried my very heavy suitcases for me. He didn't talk on the phone nor slam on the breaks at any part of the ride. It was such a cozy, peaceful ride in the Town Car that I didn't want to get out and deal with the airport rush! He said upon return if I need a ride I could text (no need to call!) and say my flight # and door # that I would be at. They would track my flight for me to make sure they are there to pick up at the curbside at the right time. Now that's service! It is about $10 more than you would pay for a yellow cab but you're paying for peace of mind AND the rate includes the tip! No need to worry about calculating the tip and taxes and service charges and all that. I paid a flat rate of $55 from Edgewood. Makes flying a tad more enjoyable.
