The driver WAS a pretty nice guy, but he seemed oblivious to the shabbiness of his vehicle. However, the price was definitely right. By a long shot. Dunno if I really would recommend this service to all the folk in my crowd. And I don't think I will use them again unless all other options fail.

On the app I allowed actual location tracking of GPS to precisely find the pickup location for me. Booked it. Initially with a man named Remi / DAU4556 / Blue Toyota Highlander. As I'm waiting, I see that he is going to a location miles away called "Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. SW". HUH? I was at the Signia by Hilton Hotel. I called Remi and told him I think there is an issue, I'm not sure where this Abernathy Blvd. is but I am at the Signia by Hilton Hotel. He stated ok he could come pick me up there...HE NEVER ARRIVED. And I got charged a $10.00 cancellation for that of which my account has no record of it NOR A RECORD OF MY BOOKING WITH HIM. How did that happen??? Anyway, I looked at the Uber app and I see that I have now MAGICALLY somehow been assigned a Robert / DGF4908 / Kia Carnival. And, that he is heading to the wrong location as well i.e. Abernathy Blvd. So, I start texting him stating I DID NOT AUTHORIZE HIM, DO NOT GO THERE. I told him that if he wants to pick me up he has to come to the Signia by Hilton Hotel. He informs that is not in his area. I told him to cancel me since I didn't authorize him and he's going to the wrong location anyway...he told me he can't... I have to cancel. HUH? Why do I have to cancel and get charged for a ride I never authorized to begin with, with Robert? So now I'm confused, late, pissed off, and trying to figure out what is happening. Uber has tweeked their app to BENEFIT UBER and leave the rider little recourse to defend themselves in being played/victimized not to mention it is confusing unless you have used it a lint. I have not. So, SHAME ON UBER on being so one-sided. So, I cancelled and of coursed got charged for that as well. Now, it is 40 minutes later....I'm in a bind for time. Out of desperation, I try Uber one more time. Since, I don't trust their GPS, I manually put in my location and I get a driver by the name of Jamie / DDP5370 / Toyota Grand Highlander WHO WAS FAST, PROFESSIONAL AND GOT ME TO THE AIRPORT. Thank you JAMIE! Now, a day later I'm wasting my precious time again, trying to figure out how to educate Uber on their flawed system and how it abused me and then left me defenseless all the while charging me money for the experience and trying to figure out how to get refunded my $10.00 first cancellation fee from Remi, of which I never cancelled and there is no record in my Uber account, just on my bank account. And, how to get refunded my second cancellation fee from Robert of which it is at least shown on my Uber account. That amount is $10.57. Final thought. This Robert driver, the second one, told me he is not allowed to cancel, ( I have snap shotted the text thread to prove it) rather the rider has to cancel. If that was true, then how did I get cancelled and magically willed to him by the first driver this Remi dude with whom there is no record in my Uber account, just a charge to my credit card? UBER AND LYFT IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED FOLKS!
