The owner needs to learn from his employee. When I entered the store, the owner, Bob, was in a conversation with an employee. He was behind the counter and his back was to the entrance door. When I opened the door and entered he stopped his conversation, turned to see who it was. Since I was not someone rich or famous or in his circle of friends he made eye contact with me, then turned back around without saying a word to me. He could've said, "hello." He could've said, "Welcome to Disinger's." He could've said, "Someone will be with you in a moment." But no, he did not say a word to me at all. Because I wasn't good enough to merit even a greeting, he turned back to what he was doing. The employee, Teresa, on the other hand was very friendly and helpful. I have lived in Jasper and Dubois county for about 30 years. I am a business owner. However, unfortunately many fellow business owners don't know how to treat customers. Bob is one of them. So if you go, be prepared to be ignored by the owner and helped by one of his helpers.

They could not tell me how large the diamond in my ring even was. I told them I wanted it in a new setting and they lady told the guy I wanted to know if my ring was gold. Well duh, it says 14k and I just wanted a new setting. She kept trying to push me to trade it in for a cheaper ring. The guy in the back wouldn't even come out and talk to me. The old man who ran that place for years was awesome. It's a shame he is gone. They resized one of my rings to a smaller size and made the band thinner and it broke.
