I am writing this review about Taylor Management because for a couple of months now I have tried to work with Tina regarding a parking violation at Lake Las Vegas. I am giving her 1 star because she has failed time and time again to resolve this problem. Now to be fair to Taylor Management this review would be 5 stars if Joseph Ventura was handling the problem at hand. Joseph has never failed when called upon for help with an association problem. However Tina has had months to resolve one simple problem but just does nothing. I am hoping that the powers to be will read this and give this problem to Joseph. Why does everything have to be a fight? I have always paid my dues on time, and yet when there is a real issue, Taylor Management tries to ignore it. I have been dealing with a sink hole issue in my front yard for over a year. I didn't realize how much it was sinking until I had to go to my electric box last year, and I stood up on the bricks where the sink hole is and when I came down, my ankle twisted slightly. I am 66 years old, and this could have been serious. I also have a 91-year-old mother that I take care of and If I get hurt there is no one to look after her. Taylor management sends people to take pictures, and report to them. I have my own set of pictures, and it does not show the severity of the water damage. They tried to blame my solar Installation, which was done in 2015, and then the gas company, but neither one dug a trench...Anyway, I need someone with authority to come out and see this for themselves, and talk to me to get this issue resolved before I get hurt going to the electric box, or worse...My house starts to cave in! My car was damaged by a tree located on their property. I had pictures and corroboration from witnesses saying that the tree came from their side. I tried to get reimbursed (150 bucks for taillight damage, thankfully it was only that!) for the damage and the lady (Stephanie) from the HOA said she had submitted a request (total B.S.) to the board of directors for reimbursement. A couple of months go by and I follow up via email to which she proceeded to deny the existence of the trees and accused me of having made up the incident. Wow, Really?! I told her that the pictures I had have embedded GPS coordinates(metadata) from Google proving that the trees were located on their property (they have since removed the trees, although the tree stumps are still there), so she stopped replying, probably because I made a valid point and didn't wanna further prove her ignorance, you know how the saying goes. I hope anybody reading this sees what kind of people they're dealing with, but don't take my word for it, look at all the other reviews from people who pay them money for crappy to nonexistent support. read more

Was asking for clarifications of common area and I got cherry picked response. The community manager didn't do proper research on this matter or did not have a full understanding of the situation. I have sought opinions of others and it differs greatly with the response I got from the management company. They have no respect to a homeowners property but considers almost everything outside of my walls as common property, even if I'm paying property taxes on it. read more

I called in to speak to the office about an HOA violation. Emanuela in the office was extremely unprofessional. She was rude, not even able to speak in a professional manner, and refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor. She then hung up on me. Our HOA is in a mutinous mood over a budget that includes a fee hike. Many of us contacted Taylor Management seeking to clarify the ability to file proxies to oppose the budget. We got no response. Ultimately, members of our community rented a bus to go to the budget meeting. Here's the 'oops' explanation from Taylor: I apologize for the lack of response.  I had not seen this email prior to the meeting.  I have since found many email recently went to my spam and I am going through them to see what may have been missed.  The budget did not get passed and the Board is drafting a new budget.  Please let me know if you still have questions. This company is the absolute worst. Stephanie Freeman the "manager" does absolutely nothing for the community. She ignores homeowners complaints. Homes are rotting away/haven't been painted or repaired since 1970's. There are so many issues here and she ignores every single complaint and doesn't even have the decency to respond. Something is very off here this should absolutely be illegal. Homeowners pay high monthly dues just to be ignored and have their homes falling apart due to negligence. After 2 and a half years at my residence, I get a violation letter in the mail due to loud televisions. The new old couple below me who just purchased their unit not more than 4 months ago have been rude since day 1. Taylor mgmnt took their side and didn't care whatsoever that my gf was born hard of hearing and I got asymmetrical hearing kiss due to my time in the military. They told me that I needed to purchase headphones that range in the 100-200 dollar range and sleep with those on...they then preceded to tell me that because we are only tenants and not owners our voice doesn't matter.....I am so thankful out lease is up in February ...stay far far FAR away from any place that involves this discriminating group who prey on those with handicaps. read more

If you are buying or renting in a neighborhood ran by this company then RUN! Do not make this mistake. The most unorganized and unpleasant HOA company to live within. They will mail you a letter every time you fart, but won't give you a notice before towing your car. My roommates and I have gotten letters for weeds growing, our trash cans being outside while were at work, our friends having their cars parked on the street at 7pm while have dinner with us, our cars being parked backwards on the driveway, and the list goes on. They are never available and don't respond to emails or phone calls or voice mails and they always take a strict lunch from 12-1 making them even more unavailable. Awful. Terrible. The worst. We have had very few interactions with our Hoa, however the few we have had have been wonderful. Even upon getting a small Compliance letter. All you need to do is respond, and fix your issues, and all is good. It's good to have an Hoa that does their job in a reasonable amount of time. It keeps the neighborhoods nice as well. My Husband and I live at the community Cambridge Heights, we have lived for the past 7 years in this community as homeowners. They have strict rules if your palms are trimmed or not and they will send you letters if it isn't yet you'll see people all the time doing mechanic work on the streets, they use someone living on site to clean up the community so half of the time the community looks dirty, they haven't fixed the gate for the past 6 years and homeless people keeps walking around the property and leaving trash around. The property walls are dirty and crappy. When we call we've spoken to managers and then we get routed to the maintenance manager. But everything stays the same. But they still charge the monthly fee. For what? I've seen better job done for properties cared by the city! Is there any complaint line? At least the city cleans up the streets. read more

One of the worst HOA management companies in Henderson they are all over the homeowners for repairs and demand it to be taken care of by the time the company wants it or they will fine you fast. Poorly run company with (at least some) improperly trained/managed community managers that are unresponsive to basic, routine resident requests. If you are on an HOA board considering Taylor Association Management, for the sake of your residents, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. If you choose this company, your resident's very basic, routine-type inquiries will likely be ignored (with no response whatsoever from Taylor Association Management), and they will be very unhappy with your decision. read more

i should not have received a violation. if someone had only checked, they would have seen that the palm trees were not trimmed by the association. i am going to have my palms trimmed at the same time that the association trim the neighborhood palms like i do every year. i keep getting reminders, even tho i have explained this. read more

Taylor Association Management Illegally fined, illegally liened, threatened to foreclose. Owner/CEO Jason Hoorn ignored laws, continued $100 weekly fines beyond $1,000 limit by NRS 116.3103. Over the course of 18 months, Taylor Association Management maliciously and illegally persecuted and fined me for "commercial use" while the managed HOA's board members, Astoria Iron Mountain HOA board members, have been running true commercial use businesses out of their homes. Taylor Association Management illegally fined, then illegally liened, then threatened to foreclose based on an illegal lien for illegal fines, while knowing that an act of foreclosure is also illegal, since liens based on fines cannot serve as a basis for foreclosure. The President Jason Hoorn has ignored all the pertinent laws presented and continued to asses $100 weekly fines even beyond the $1,000 limit set by state law NRS 116.3103. Taylor Association Management employed an unlicensed community manager and Mr. Hoorn lied stating he did not know about this while he is obligated by law to verify this. Previous review: Wow! Taylor Association Management did the same thing to me as they did to Jacqueline Pletscher whom I see posted a review here 8 months ago! They slapped multiple bogus fines without notifying me and without ever sending me the attached ledger photo - which I received yesterday from NAS - their collection company. I have lived in communities with HOAs previously and this one seems to insist on sending notices for the smallest reasons. If they notice you outside, they will not stop to say, "Hey, you shouldn't be doing xxx..." they would rather take a picture right in front of you and send a letter. THIS is an example of what is wrong with our society today. (This HOA reminds me of the parking police in Los Angeles.) They wrote us up for our trash cans being outside and then we put up an enclosure to hide the trash bins that can be taken down very easily, so they wrote us up for putting the enclosure up. I told them that we had a special needs child and needed extra time to tend to this situation and their response was, "As this was done without Board approval, I can not and will not promise any extension will be given. As an owner, you are fully aware that an ARC should have been submitted.  As you had submitted one for the Palapa Installation that was installed in the backyard in March of this year." Basically worthless. We have been complaining (FOUR YEARS) about our neighbors auto shop business he runs from his garage. In addition the oil, gas and other fluids he washes down the street every night at 2:30 am in front of our house and into the cities water run off. Taylor and the HOA stated they cannot do anything about it. Except send letters. But today WE receive a letter of non compliance for a cable that does not match the color of our house. They have strict enforcement about that ! We have requested many times (FOUR YEARS) we would like to log into the monthly meetings. But they do not have that "technology" available either. They complain about lack of resident interest in the meetings but cannot figure out a way to provide access ! read more

This company Harrasses you about parking, knowing that you are allowed two parking places. I have the parking passes that I purchased from them, now they say they are no longer accepted. They changed the rules so that they can fine you. They are racketeering! The harassment has escalated to a hearing based on non-sense. I don't see any others being harassed like this. I think it has to do with the color of my skin. I am thinking of escalating this under the new HOA harassment laws. If anyone else is being Harassed by this company you should do so as well. I am a home owner in Mesa Verde Association. My house was for the last few years tenant occupied and now I live in the property. The Pool is closed. I spoke with the HOA when I moved back and asked when it would be open. They said the new regulations make it very difficult to open because it is so expensive. I had a hunch that this was not correct. I spoke with the Southern Nevada Health Department Aquatic Division and they said that many HOA's are doing the same thing but the occupancy is the only restriction and things need to be wiped down daily. This can be done by volunteers. The Spas are to be closed at this time but even they will open soon. On a hunch, I asked if the pool permit had been paid. IT HAS NOT BEEN PAID. SO EVEN IF THE HOA GAVE THE GREEN LIGHT TO OPEN THE POOL. THE POOL PERMIT HAS NOT BEEN PAID. 1200+ in permit fees and fines are due for last years permit. VERY VERY BAD. read more

***PROPERTY OWNERS BEWARE*** I'm now adding this HOA to the list of "do not rent". After dealing with them as a tenant I would never pay market value for a house in a neighborhood run by them. This HOA is a complete liability in terms of resident relations. I own property but I rent this particular property and I've had several HOA relationships over the years. Taylor Association Management is hands down the worst example of a draconian mindset applied to HOA management I've come across. Their non-compliance letter campaign is dizzying and I suspect it's the only reason the postal service is still in business. I keep the yard weed free and its never over grown. If I leave town I even hire someone to come and maintain it. This does not stop them from sending letters. They will send you two letters however they will send them both the same day. At times, they will send you ONLY the second and final warning. They cut corners and are borderline harassing residents. This management company went as far as to threaten the property owners with fines because of over grown palm trees in the back yard but there are NO palm trees in the back yard. They lack attention to detail and rely on their governing power to wield compliance through fear campaigns. read more

I find this company is very poor in contacting there HOA members with there yearly dues. This is the second year in row that I have not got my bill. Last year I went in to there office and was told it would be taken of and yet here it is the 3rd.of January and still no bill! It is due on the frist of the month.Last year they tried to hit me with a late fee but fought that and won. I would not recommend this company to any HOA.
