She has very poor knowledge, was unprofessional and when questioned on about simple errors on the LTB docs on multiple occasions, she was very quick to blame us the landlord, saying it's just a draft doc, she noted on the Certificate of Service Doc that the N4 form was placed in the mail box at the property when there is no mail box there, then when questioned she quickly changed her response that it was handed to someone at the property, confusing us. Every time we tried to reach out to her on agreed dates for the submission of forms to the LTB , she claimed to be Always in court during the daytime with no callbacks from her, leaving us with no option to call in the evening. Then when we relay our concerns to her she would respond with insults that "I did not get paid to work afterhours for you guys", "you guys are difficult". It was very stressful working with Nivetha, not a nice person and she refused to return our money for services she was Not able to provide. The same case was presented to another Paralegal who was able to represent us at the LTB with a successful resolution at the first hearing. I would never recommend Nivetha's service to anyone.

I hired her through the JusticeNet program, which is designed to help low-income individuals access legal help at capped rates. In my case (ODSP), the rate was capped at $130/hour. ​The Issues: ​Predatory Billing: Before performing any work, she required a $1,000 payment via e-transfer. She never provided a written retainer or a signed contract outlining the scope of work, which is a standard professional requirement. ​No Results: I was seeking help with a license reinstatement. After paying her, I received no legal documents or proof of work. In the end, I resolved the issue myself with one phone call to the insurance provider, as confirmed by an email from Allstate Insurance on Jan 9, 2026. ​Refusal to Refund: Despite doing zero work, she refused a refund and produced an "interim invoice" after the fact, labeling the $1,000 as a "consultation." Based on JusticeNet rates, an $885+HST consultation would require nearly 8 hours of time, which never happened. ​Professional Record: Prospective clients should be aware that this lawyer has a public record with the Law Society of Ontario (Case 2023 ONLSTH 117) regarding professional conduct. ​I have filed a formal fraud dispute with my bank and am in the process of a Law Society complaint.
