About 2 years ago I had took my pickup truck to them to get brakes put on. When I went in i had purchased the brakes myself and they told me that they were not the right ones. I asked them how much I had left on my brakes. They told me that I still had a little bit of time left before I would have to get new ones put on. I took my truck a week later to someone else and they let me see what my brakes looked like and come to find out Taylor Tires let me drive my truck without any brakes on the back and I had no brakes on passenger side. So the only brakes that I had was on drivers side and they were very very thin. How can you allow someone to drive off in their vehicle without any brakes. I could have been killed or injured. And I could have killed someone or injured someone if I had hit them. How can they sleep at night knowing that they did this. So please do not take your vehicle to this place for anything cos they will lie to you. I have to rate them so I can put my review on here but they dont even deserve 1 star read more

At this point I wouldn't let them work on my bicycle much less my car!! I think they used to be good many, many years ago but over the last 4 or so too many things have gone wrong taking out vehicles to them and then other stories from friends in the area having the same issues just confirms it. We had been going here for years and always believed they were honest. Then they began a downward spiral at rapid speed. We took our car in for tire service they had it overnight and the next evening they called and said it was ready. When we got there to pick it up they said they had not even looked at it. They had been good to us before that experience so we kept giving them business. We took our car for brake issues and after a day of having the car they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Drove off the lot, brakes are still squeaking. We called the owner/manager about our concerns with service and we were told he was not in (May be part of the problem). Brought our other car in they said we needed to replace all the tires and brakes. At this point we took it elsewhere for a second opinion. We were told we did not need any of that. The brakes were fine and tires looked good. At the end of the day I cannot abide by dishonesty and then being blamed for their dishonesty. We took our business elsewhere. Very disappointing because they had been our trusted spot. Hopefully they are able to find the issue with their downfall and I do wish them well with their recovery. read more

Had a flat on I-75 and didn't want to ride the spare back to Atlanta. Found Taylor's on yelp. Great reviews so I drove there. They were very busy. I was greeted quickly and my tired was patched and I was on my way. Excellent service and the price was very fair. I'd like to add the owner was dealing with an unhappy customer. As I listened I realize the complaint had more to do with an experience the customer had dealing directly with the tire manufacturer and not his team. All I can say is he was very patient and went above and beyond to make this person happy. If I'm ever in the Dalton area and have a need I'll be back. read more

I've been using Taylor's for many years. Service has always been excellent! Their prices are very reasonable. This professional group of guys have always taken exceptional care of my cars and trucks. Very nice waiting room if you don't want to leave your car. Free wifi if you need to be entertained while you wait or watch tv. I always feel confident with their suggestions with repairs and tires. Being a corporate sales representative my vehicle is my office and it's imperative to have it in good working order at all times. During my travels today I managed to run over a piece of debris in the road that was rapidly deflating my tire. I found Taylor's tire via Yelp and was very quickly taken care of by Jay so that I could get back to my customers. They were extremely busy, however, Jay was kind enough to get my tire plugged very immediately without my even asking. The gentleman that personally took care of my vehicle was also very friendly and quick to get my problem resolved. I spoke with Daphne (owner) and expressed my genuine thanks for how well they took care of me and how professional and courteous Jay treated me. Great people! Great business! I was traveling through Georgia when my tire lost pressure. I needed to stop before I could continue on my road trip. I was able to find Taylor's Tire and they were a godsend. They were able to find the problem with my tire. They replaced the tire pressure valve system. The price was so reasonable and I was able to continue my trip. I highly recommend them and I would definitely use them if I live nearby. read more

Was passing through the area on a business trip to ATL when my tire began to vibrate terribly and make noise. I had just gotten my tires changed in my home town a couple of weeks before and the folks back home didn't bring any issues to my attention. As soon as I got to this place they pulled my car right in and looked it over. They told me that not only had I lost a lug but, but the stud had broken, and I needed to replace all of them. I'm grateful for their thorough, friendly, affordable, and quick service. Not to mention their waiting area was comfortable, clean, and had a coffee bar. They got me back on the road safely in no time. I wish I lived in the area, as I would make them my regular tire place!!! read more

Price was a solid 200.00 less than I expected to pay. Guys at the desk were friendly and professional. Even stayed late to get a part I needed put on for a trip that couldn't wait. Jamie Taylor and his crew are the best in town. Every time I am in need of service I am making my way to them. They are very courteous and the waiting room is always nice and clean. They take care of my tires whether fixing a flat or purchasing a new set of tires. They handle my oil changes and any minor to major engine repair. I have been using Taylor Tire for over 10 years and have never had an issue. They are very busy so you need have some time on your hands or be able to leave your car with them and it's all ways best to call ahead and speak with Jamie, Jarvis or Alan before just showing up and expecting to be first in line for service. So if you want good quality work and for a better than fair price, you need to let Jamie and his crew handle your auto and tire service needs. read more

I was working in town and staying in a local hotel. My truck was having some issues and it was above what I can diagnose or fix myself. I quickly did a search online for mechanics in Dalton and decided on Taylor's, going by the reviews. I called Allen and he gave me a day to drop it off. That afternoon Allen called me and explained a few things that needed attention and it was completed that very same day. The truck ran perfectly [transmission and linkage issue] and my problems were over. Allen was respectful, professional, fair and very prompt. I highly recommend Taylor's. Worst service I have received. Was so disappointed. We have done a lot of business there in the past. I have been amazed how bad the service has been in this situation. We took the car in for front and back brakes. No problems with the back change. Front was squeaking a little. So they said bring back in, will turn the rotors... Now it has been 5-6 times... the squealing is extreme. An embarrassment to pull into a drive thru, parking spot or up to a stop sign. At this point I even question what has been done if anything considering it is worse than before any work was done. I have given it time, miles, they have supposedly changed the pads, added gel, etc. It has been an inconvenience in time and dropping off in the mornings, at lunch and picking up after work. Then today they say they can't hear anything. Really? Anyone and everyone can hear it and then tried to sell tires and say it's a bearing problem. I just need front brakes. I will NEVER do business there again. read more
