Well no good thing lasts forever. This location has dropped the ball, big time. I've been here for way too long on an otherwise slow day. They had to be prodded into pulling my car into the open service bay. They don't seem to realize that nobody wants to spend one minute more than necessary in a dismal gray tire store that's broadcasting that moronic country music that makes you want to slash your wrists. The lyrics sound like they were written by a 5th grader and the intended audience is the 5th graders. Please get me out of this place with my wrists in tact. read more

This morning, I went here to try a new place to buy tires for my Ram 2016. I wanted to try it because the company I purchased them from before did not really have good customer service and they only sold tires but did not do alignments, which I wanted. They did provide free rotation but when I made an appt it took 2-3 ours just to rotate them. I was impressed from the moment I arrived. The staff immediately said hello, asked me what I was looking for and they took my information and gave me a cost for a set of 4 Michelin Defender tires for a lower price than my previous company. The Manager (Thomas I believe) told me they would meet or beat the competitors price and he did. He said they would have the tires in this afternoon and could put them on the same day. I was wondering if I would get a call and I did. He called around 3 PM and said if I came in at 5 they would put them on today. They took me in about 445 and I was out a little after 6 and that included an alignment. Everyone was attentive, friendly and truly wanted to do a good job. Highly recommended and telling my friends. One thing that was different is I paid by credit card in the morning instead of paying after the tires were installed. Was not a big deal but was different. I assume had I cancelled they would have refunded my credit card. read more

I am a previous customer and called to see if they could do an alignment on my daughter's truck. I was told it was first come first served and I was good with that. I showed up on 06/12/26 first thing in the morning and checked in her truck for an alignment. The salesperson came over explaining the condition of the tires and if I wanted to replace them, pushing the right front tire was 60 percent. I told him not at this point I was there for an alignment. He came out after a short time and said I was all set. After looking at the alignment report I asked why they hadn't adjusted the camber, it wasn't in spec. He told me they "couldn't put shims in", first he said they didn't have any then he pointed to the bottom of the alignment page the states "right front camber requires shim and cannot be adjusted by Discount Tire". He said "that is why they are $20.00 cheaper". I told him that I didn't ask the price, and no one said anything about not being able use shims, until they are done which I find absolutely unbelievable when you advertise wheel alignments. We are talking a 1972 Chevy 2 wheel drive, about as basic as you can get. So, I had to pay $89.99 for a vehicle that they didn't really align. All I got was a "set the toe and let it go". May be a good place to buy tires but not for alignments. read more

My mother ordered tires for my brother's car and prepaid online for them. Unfortunately they were unable to put the tires on the car. They offered no voided invoice and then stated a check would be issued. I'm completely confused as why the order just couldn't be canceled and a refund issued. This is ridiculous. I will not recommend this place with business practices based in the 1800's. Customer service is abysmal. read more

Holy Slow Pokes!!! 1pm: Well I was heading to Lowe's and thought I would get my tires rotated and balanced while I went next door... Sounded easy enough, they gave me a 3pm ETA, so basically an hour which sounded acceptable to me. They took my credit card and charged me and off I went. Shopping done long ago and here I am at 4:15 and they haven't even touched my car yet. The guy assures me now my car is next. I was 2 cars out before the last 4 cars went in as well... My first trip into this discount tire may likely be my last. My patience allows for an hour wait, but I would not have agreed if I know it would be 4 plus hours for a simple rotate and balance... If I hadn't already paid I would have just left. Almost 5pm and I am hungry and grumpy and going home now finally. This would be 1 stars but JuJuan was friendly checking me in, but then just have went home. He got them 1 more star... All the employees were friendly in fairness, but my goodness my time is more valuable than waiting all day long. read more

I received an oil change from here in which they left the seal from the old oil filter in the car when putting on a new a one, like the very first thing you learn not to do when changing oil in a car. Queue leaking oil, and engine lockup on the way home from work at 11:30pm. Now I'm in the middle of trying to be in contact with them only for them get rude on the phone and be told I will receive a call back and have to call them back each day myself. Save yourself the head ache and thousands of dollars for an engine and go somewhere else. read more

Traveling home from Florida in an RV and towing a Mini Cooper. Decided to go downtown for dinner and, on the way back to our RV, hit a humongous pothole which flattened my left front tire. Luckily it was a run flat so we got back to the RV. Called Discount Tire first thing in the morning and talked with Angel. They broke the center cap, which is a Dealer Product only, $50.00. Manger, said is was broken and glued, which had a glue marks on the piece that was given to me, nor on hub cap. The Regional Staff member or store manager, have never bothered to admit, it was there mistake, and they should pay for the screw up. I spent over a thousand dollars for tires, and I get this. What happened to HONESTY..customer being treated like your important. Don't waste your time ot money, there r many better places who need /want your business. read more

Discount Tire has always treated me great!!! They're fast, friendly, and their warranty is unbeatable. Not to mention I came in at 5:55 (they closed at 6) to get a tire taken care of and Alex was super friendly (after a very long day, i'm sure) and got me squared away within about 15-20 minutes. I was super pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. Also it only cost me $15 to renew the warranty after getting a brand new tire! I will definitely be using Discount Tire again!!! They definitely earned lifetime customers today! Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in to have 4 new off road/mud tires mounted & balanced. They went way above and beyond! New valve stems, torqued my spacer plates AND wheels, asked what kind of weights I preferred and what tire pressure I wanted to run at, shined the tires and made sure I got my pink valve stem covers back. We kept one of the old tires for a spare and they even put it in a bag before placing it in the back of the Jeep! All things no other place has ever done!!! I only wish that we had bought our tires from them... we absolutely will the next time. If you're not buying tires from them you're probably spending too much money and getting lousy customer service. read more

I couldn't have asked for more courteous service when my road trip was interrupted by a nail in my tire late Sunday night. I made an online appointment for 8:30am Monday and was greeted outside immediately by a representative who explained what to expect. Shortly thereafter, Ethan greeted me, listened to my concerns, inspected my tires and reported back. As I was alone and from out of town, I suspected I may get a bit of run around or upselling. To the contrary, Ethan discussed that my tires were in great shape and he expected they'd be able to repair my tire for free, but if not they had a few options in stock for me. He sent me a text to track my vehicle and regularly updated me in person as well. The shop was busy but efficient. I witnessed several other employees also respectfully counseling other customers and often describing the adjustments or fixes they'd been able to make for free. They took interest in each customer and listened. I heard Scott answer the phone several times --describing available services and providing information about referrals for those they could not provide. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I lived in the area. And, if you find yourself needing help to get back on the road in the Chattanooga area, definitely feel comfortable seeking assistance here. I was back on the road in less than an hour from the time of my appointment without a charge of a single cent (all with apologies that it took so long). Made my appointment and purchase online the night before. My appointment was for 8:30am. I got there around 8:10, they were waiting for me. They flagged me right into the work bay and started. I was actually back on the road right at the time my appointment should have just been starting. I listened to other interactions while waiting in the lobby and all of the associates seemed friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and engaged with every customer, even the ones they were not actively helping yet.
