traded in a chevy truck for a cargo van. as soon as I bought it I had trouble the dealership had to replace the fuel pump 7 times within first couple months they also had to work on it due to heat going out had it in 3 times for this. I have had this van for about a year and have had nothing but issues. Have to take it back in tomorrow because heat is out again. This dealership is not reliable at all. I was coming here for 1 year straight getting oil changes and anything else needed fixed in my car. I paid them $1400 to get a diagnostic and fix anything wrong with the truck in April and my whole engine went out in May. No warning or nothing. How can a dealership MISS that a whole engine is going bad/ needs to be fixed. My coolant level began rising and I brought it back in and did ANOTHER diagnostic and that's when they found out that I needed a whole new engine. And their immediate response was for me to get a new car and get my car REPO'D. I have since found a new engine at a reasonable price (Taylor wanted $10,000 for a USED engine) got it installed and my car is not driving fine! Was told it was available and sales lady confirmed the price also said they might have some "wiggle room" Made an appointment to drive THREE hours to buy the truck. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this location a 300 and 2 jeep grand Cherokees in the past 5 years. The first 2 no issues always got great service. The third the 2018 grand Cherokee went in for service in November it's now December I have yet to get it back. The service center did an update to the radio and locked it up. They claim the radios aren't made any longer and it could take months to get another one. I don't know I find it hard to believe that a new vehicle radio isn't being made any longer. I was given a loaner a Cherokee which was too small for a wheel chair and family. I had to rent another vehicle for the rental in order to pick people up from the airport. It took a lot of arguing and to get a larger vehicle. It's now the middle of December and not fixed yet. In the future I won't purchase another vehicle from here again. The service is the worst I have ever dealt with. They make you feel as if your a second rate customer. There is no concern to urgency on repairing my vehicle that sits undrivable on their lot. I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE IN THE FUTURE!!!! When I buy another Jeep it will not be from here. The service center has made that decision for me. Sad to say knowing the owner doesn't seem to help. read more

Horrible service. Car had a recall no problem got it in. 5 days later car wouldn't start. Finally started then next day wouldn't start at all. Called said bring it in on Monday morning at 7.30am which I had towed in. Monday called at 2pm hadn't even started it. Tuesday called again at 2pm still hadn't started it. Had problems ever since they fixed the recall 5 days earlier. Service manager wasn't helpful told me it wasn't his fault it wouldn't start. WOW. I bought a brand new Dodge Caravan in 2014 from Taylor Chrysler Dodge. We were really happy with our salesman and purchase at the time. Unfortunately, a few months ago it started acting weird. We brought it in to their service department twice before they figured out what was wrong. They called and told me that the spark plugs needed to be replaced which only had 40,000 miles on them and are rated at 100,000 miles. Only 1 spark plug needed to be replaced which was a casualty to the original problem. While our van was in their shop they ran into another car and dented up the rear right door. Since we were previously unhappy with their service, we asked to have someone else fix the door at their cost. Our quote to fix it was $2900 and they only want to pay $1700 of it. It's been almost impossible to reach them by phone to discuss this. Our van still seems to be acting weird as well. We are very dissatisfied with our experience and all issues are currently unresolved. read more

They changed the price on my vehicle multiple times before the sale was over, they tricked me into a warranty by not telling me it was a warranty they just told me my payment options, they tricked me into paying for an unnecessary diagnostic. The warranty covers next to nothing and they didn't even have the replacement tires for my car. Their focus is to make maximum amount of money without being upfront about what they are doing.. Just picked up my car and my tank is on E, my car is leaning to one side, and I looked at the bill and they conveniently charged me the maximum amount under the deductible to make the most money they could from me. Truck was towed to Taylor on 2/01/18. Was told they would have to order parts and would be about two weeks to repair my truck. Two weeks go by and no truck. Call and Service says the part will be delivered on 2/26/18. Today, 2/27 I call to see if the part came in and IF the truck would be ready in a few days. Service department said that Chrysler was not sending them the part and told US to call Chrysler and see if we could get them to send the part. Not my job but hey, I'll try anything at this point. Call Chrysler and was pretty much told by Chrysler that Taylor is lying and the part was still over 800 miles away and That they would call Taylor to find out why Taylor was telling us to call them. Call back to Taylor and ask to speak to a manager. Told him that Chrysler said his service department was lying. Manager says he will let me talk to his service manager...... the point of this being????? They are the ones making up fictional dates that the part will arrive on. Why were we given an exact date the part was to be delivered if it was not true?? just to get us off the phone? I would have much rather been told from the beginning that the part was going to be two months than to be lied to time and time again. I have always recommended this dealership before but never again. You can not trust them. They will lie to you in a minute. read more

I don't even want to give this place one star, but I need people to know what they are doing! Several years ago, I bought a 2011 Dodge Caliber from this place, used. About a year later I had to replace the whole front end, new wheel mounts and all that. When I called and was upset cause, that was a lot of money I had to put in to the car considering it was only a year since I had bought it. I receive a call from some female being very rude saying it's normal wear and tear on a car and I should expect this kind of stuff when buying used cars. So I told myself I would never go back to a company that didn't even try to sympathize with the issue, just treated me as though I was stupid. I came into contact with a used car place in Demotte Indiana and the salesmen found a car for me 2008 Toyota Matrix and I had to go sign for it at Taylor Chrysler dodge. Of course I explain to them how shitty they had treated me previously when I went into sign the papers for this Toyota and They supposedly got me a really good deal on the warranty for this car. So I sign the papers and a year later, I drive across country to California for a 6 month job and I go to Toyota before I head back and they do a full service on the car. In the process of this full service, A lug nut broke in half. In order to change the lug nut they had to take the rotor off this car. Here's the issue. The Matrix I've had for a little over a year, looks as though I had been parking it in a lake on a nightly basis. Everything was so rusted on, the dealer was actually worried they would break the axel trying to get the highly rusted on bolts off the axel (the axel was even Highly rusted). In order to make this car (which I still owed 12,000 dollars on) "Safe" I would need 4 new wheel mounts, 2 new axels, and several other small jobs that could be put off... Such as Catalytic Converter. I was looking at about 6,000 dollars just to make this car safe which I still owed a butt load on. I'm not sure how a dealership could or would sell a car like this and still sleep soundly at night. After all The amount of rust on this car was crazy!!! any one with a conscience would not have sold it in this condition to a single mother of two! There's no way all that rust built up in only the year or so that I had it. Taylor Chrysler Dodge is a horrible place that does not truly care what condition a used car is in when they sell it. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I had to take the butt load of debt they got me in, to obtain this horribly unsafe rusted vehicle, pay a huge amount of money down for a new one and still had to carry 8,000 dollars over on to my new safe vehicle. Taylor Chrysler dodge and any dealership that is affiliated with them will no longer be in my good graces. Please to anyone who is looking to by a used car, do not go to this place and if you do, make sure you have a mechanic check it out inside and out before you by it. During the trip we blew a tire and were able to get the donut on. While searching for tire shops along the route, we quickly realized the special tire size was not in stock at chain and local tire stores. We called Taylor Chrysler Dodge and spoke with Jim, who quickly went to work locating a tire store along our route who had one in stock so we would not have to drive 500+ miles on a spare donut tire. We were beyond amazed at how he made our problem a priority, offered multiple solutions, and most of all helped us out with great care and service after the sale of our vehicle.
