I finally got the opportunity to visit for a live music event series that just started at the business. The bakery is nicely decorated with tables inside. They offer beverages and a variety of cakes, cookies, pudding, and other desserts for purchase with a changing menu. The event and musical guest was great. I really enjoyed the singer. The female clerk that I engaged with was pleasant. The male owner was also present during my visit. I ended up buying a piece of pound cake during the event. The cake was moist and tasted good.

We walked in and a woman ( I believe she was the owner) was talking to a family off to the side with no one behind the counter, and looked at both of us and n ver acknowledged our entrance. While I didn't expect her to haunt her conversation a hello and someone will be right with you would have been nice. Someone did come from the back to help us, however she was less than friendly. I had a few questions about the "sweets" in the case and she very much made me feel like she would prefer i order and move on. Needless to say this was my first and last time visiting Sweetheart Treats. I could overlook the dryness of the cupcake had the customer service been better. I hope others have a better experience than i had.

Emily has been great to work with. She really listened to our ideas and than took it to the next level. This review is strictly on the taste of the cake samples. I don't know how she makes the cake so moist and so flavorful. It is AMAZING!
