Complete negligence. I recently lost power because of an arc in my electric unit outside. Airgroup came out and replaced it a week later because JCPL for whatever reason does not come out to fix this. Power came back on and went to turn on my ac but of course it shorted out. I have airgroup here now fixing it. I come to find out however that my electrical panel for the ac is just laying on the ground. Not mounted like my neighbors just laying im the weeds. I mean what the fuck? You replace the deck outside but you dont think it important to re mount the panel?? This is UNACCEPTABLE. I will not pay for anything until this gets fixed. HOA fees??? The worst management company !! All they like to do is raise the cost of everything and do nothing !! They were supposed to fix a hole in the wall in the "common" area of my house which led to a ton of mold in my finished basement! Now they're claiming it's not their responsibility They put a "bandaid" on the area a few years back , but it failed and now they say they have NO record of the so called repair!! So far the repairs I've had to pay for cost me over $10,000!! Stay away from any development that is run by Taylor Management!!! They also installed a so called French drain years ago which also failed.. and naturally they have no record of that either so I had to pay plenty to replace it ! What are they good for ?? Absolutely horrible service from the Somerset office. So unprofessional and incompetent. The parking lot was paved last year and I'm still trying to get my assigned number painted back on my parking space. Consider yourself lucky if they ever respond back to any inquiry. Jeff Schiffman at the Somerset never picks up his phone, forcing you to leave a voicemail that will never get a call back. I left several voicemails with Jody over 5-6 weeks with no response. When I finally did manage to get her on the phone, she stated there was "something wrong with the voicemail system". For a month and a half? I even opted to email the regional VP before I wrote this review, again with no response. If you are thinking of using them for property management, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This company is in charge of the HOA where my mom lives. They have no regard for the residence unless they live in the upper sections. For those that live at the bottom of the development they're treated like garbage. All of the landscaping/snow removal equipment along with all of the snow is shoved down by them. Now they even have the audacity to remove and relocate handicap spaces further away which is detrimental for those that need them including my mom. They're striping the spaces on Monday and when I said something to the site manager she told me that she would bring it up to the board on Wednesday. The striping and relocation will be done by that point so that will help how?!? People with valid handicap license plates should not have to stress about parking their cars nor should handicap spaces that have been in the same location for 20 years be taken away. BEWARE Taylor Management manages the coop I am an JT owner and the GM Julie McCutcheon removed me from all communications regarding my Unit without cause. When I approached the office I was told "you have no rights becuase you don't live here" What? are they that stupid?? by law I have 100% as the same as the other owner. I sent them this but they ignore what I say. No, management company can unilaterally take away your rights as a joint tenant; only a legal action initiated by another joint tenant or a court order can change your status as a joint tenant, as your rights are established by the property deed and state laws, NOT!!!! by the management company. Its the law. Since Taylor took over our finances have been in ruins. Before they stated managing Med West we had no mortage, no debt and had not had a maintenance increase in years. Since 2021 they have put us into HUGE debt. We now have a mortgage of something about 25 MILLION Dollars and have raised our maintenance at least 3 times this last one is suppose to be 10%. The prices of our units have drastically dropped. All since Taylor Management took over. Many other Coops in the area are trying to get them out of their buildings. read more

Taylor Mgmt Company's first (almost year) with our community has been painful to many homeowners. They immediately raised our fees over 5% (fees have never been raised that high prior to their arrival), they do not answer phones on a timely basis, if at all. Their emails, when they do respond, are condescending. They do not take the time to explain processes or "their rules" to homeowners. In my experience it took at least two emails to get a response for a simple work order request. In my opinion, I plan on voting our current Board Members out as they were the ones who wanted to change companies. read more

Multiple issues have been addressed with no resolution to any problems. Leaks and damages to our property's and not one solution. Our association contracted with Taylor for the past 3 years and this company has failed our community repeatedly. The first property manager they assigned to us wasn't credentialed and after a little over a year took a leave of absence and then when she was supposed to return to work she quit the company and left our community in the lurch. During her time out Taylor tried to make the office assistant our Property Manager. Fast forward to just the past few months: the screwed up the board election packet, sent out an unsigned/draft letter, still don't have a function website since they took over 3 years ago, they are rude and act unprofessional to many residents. they havent mowed thw lawns in weeks

A common area pipe broke in ceiling above my unit and water filled the unit I was away at the time and gave condo manager access to unit through garage I had just moved in 2 weeks before so personal goods were all over They let restoration company in but never supervised workers. My personal belongings were thrown in a pile and left there with no consideration at all Next they sprayed for mold but mold came back a week later from poor work they did and not following up to check Note they never gave me mold elimination certificate Finally 3 months later they repaired ceiling and walls but left all their debris in unit with no word on when they would come back No hep air filters were used at all even though sanding was done and dust was plentiful in the unit I purchased my own air filters because of dust Only painted one coat of paint in half of living room wall and half of ceiling still no inspection of work by condo Had to call manager to get debris cleaned up No word on when adjustor paint unit in unit was to be done Gave condo unit letter about I would do carpeting for they were only doing builders grade and I had very good carpet installed here Condo management and board approved payment to contractor without ever inspecting work they paid for This all began march 30,2021 and work has not been completed dec 1,2021 and contractor (Professional Restoration) was paid for work he never did I could not allow them to go unsupervised into my unit so delays happened and they could not find subcontractors to finish work Really, wake up Taylor for these were people you brought into my unit were very sub par and were paid for work never done ?????????? read more

If you are looking to buy property or rent, always be sure to know who the management company of the building is. Research them a first. Tour the building. Read the bylaws. If Taylor Management Company is the one the board of trustees decided to contract with. Go elsewhere. It doesn't matter if it is beautiful. Here to support Rich W's previous review about one of the VPs that I corresponded with. I concur that Mr. Richter's way of responding is abusive and unprofessional. I was a prospective buyer for one of the Condo units and I had my agent ask if they would consider letting us install a combo ventless washer dryer unit under the kitchen counter. This building only has 1 washer/dryer for a floor that has many 12+ units and we have a baby. His response was very terse in bold 18pt size font "Absolutely Forbidden." I saw the message relayed to him through my agent, to the listing agent, which only asked "washer/dryer." So, I replied all to the email to clarify that it would be a ventless small capacity unit and if the response would still be the same? Now he responded in bold 24pt size font saying "absolutely forbidden"... we will be fined if we do... etc. Obviously, if I was going to secretly install, I wouldn't even ask, and if it was a plain "sorry we do not allow," I wouldn't have been so taken back. At this point, I was a bit ticked off with the way the message was written and I happened to see this management company's horrible review. Perhaps childish on my part but I also went ahead to respond all saying "thank you for your bold response" and also in the same email informed my agent that I will pass on making an offer to this unit since I would not want to live in a unit with a management company that doesn't respect their residence. But yes, he responded to that saying that it is considered "impolite" to ask the same question "over and over again when the answer was provided." (Is asking 1 question, then clarifying the question considered "over and over again?"...) I'm baffled if that's how they treat persons for prospective residence, how they would treat actual residence, which I won't know thanks to this early correspondence and all the poor reviews. I will be staying away from any properties managed by this company. read more

In my honest opinion, this is the MOST HORRIBLE management company on the face of Planet Earth. Maybe in the whole Universe. The Mgmt. Agent, Mr. Richter, a VP with this so-called organization, is completely unhelpful, unresponsive, abusive, lacking any people skills. Doesn't answer his e-mails or phone calls related to the healthy operation of a building. Obstructionist and destroying value by disregarding absolutely necessary maintenance in the units, even when paid by the resident. As the face of Company, I consider him as completely unprofessional, incompetent and at the same time nasty, bossy and authoritarian. Seems prepared to interdict almost any activity approved in the bylaws with little legal recourse. As I see it, should be sued personally, together with his bosses and Taylor Mgmt. as a whole, for destroying the value of the units and the assets they manage. Stay away or get badly burned. Only strong advocacy with municipal staff and committees can help sometimes. Each year, Mr. Richter has the nerve to ask the residents for his Christmas gift. Yes ! Good luck with that ! read more
