This particular Lowe's is a huge drawing card for the other stores. Depending on the time of day traffic can be very challenging. Today was the Sunday afternoon before Memorial Day and the word challenging is an understatement! I did visit Lowe's and have included pictures.

There's several nice stores here with recognizable names. Of interest to me was the High Life vape…read morestore. The entering and exiting of this plaza is very high on the nerve wracking meter. It sits along side the insanely busy Dixon Boulevard. I parked here for about fifteen minutes and did some observing. There's an amazing number of cars coming and going and the foot traffic was a lot. I must believe that the customer base is used to all this highway excitement as they didn't seem to be in a hurry.

Note that there is the plaza, set back from the roadway as well as a short strip mall along the road. They are not connected. The intersection with the shopping center has a traffic light and there is a turn lane from eastbound US-74. This is the only entrance or exit from the shopping center. The movie theater offered senior citizen ticket rates and Kohl's went the extra mile to find an item I was looking for. Though I must admit the cash register line was rather loooong at Kohl's but worth due to the customer care I received. I assess I really got great deals on the items I purchased. Later that evening the family and I ate dinner at Bubba's. The food and drinks were delicious. I recommend the chili, burgers and French fries. Bubba's honors military service member with a discount on food purchases and has a sign thanking us for our service. This shopping location is located next door to a much larger shopping center with a large diversity of retailers including a beautiful Publix Supermarket!

This is one busy strip mall. The main culprit to the traffic issues here is an adjacent Ingles…read moregrocery store. The Osaka Japanese Restaurant also does a fantastic business. With the exception of Lowe's the remainder of these stores seem to not be doing much business and I consider them basically just filling a space. Not a bad Polo Factory Store…read more It's definitely one of the smaller Polo Factory Stores I've seen, perhaps the smallest. It has a simple layout. When you enter, to the left is the men's section, to the right is the women's section, and the middle (back) is the children's section. The center of the store is where the checkout registers are located, four registers to be exact. I've purchased some Classic Fit Polo shirts (interlock style) from this store. Most recently, I purchased a long sleeve t-shirt. The regular outlet price for this shirt is $24.99, but it was on sale for the holidays for $19.99. Not only that, but I received a coupon in the mail for an additional 20% off, so the shirt only cost me $15.99 plus tax. Score. You can save money by shopping for sales during the major holidays and by registering your email and snail mail addresses for coupons. This Polo Factory Store is never slammed and I like that. The employees are polite and efficient.

Service I found to be somewhat on the poor side. I was walking around and although acknowledged when walking in I was looking for my size in a few sweaters and there were two male employees just ignoring me folding clothing. I went up to one of them and asked if they had any other sizes and he mentioned the sizes out on the tables were what they had! Unfortunately for the style I was looking for they did not have the size! A really peeve when outlet shopping! However this is how outlet shopping is at times! Selection here was on the lower side of decent, nothing earth shattering. However the deals here were really nothing special. You need to come here when they have some smoking deals to take advantage. Polo is an American classic and has classic styling. A bit like Uncle Pete meets Henrietta at the yacht club style but it doesn't hurt to have one or two items in the closet!
