At first i thought it was a horrible place to be , the bldg was run down and it was just drab and depressing, i imediatly wanted to leave but i had no choice. Once i got settled in it wasnt that bad . my second time at Odyssey was November of 2024 an they had just started moving everything over to the new bldg at the old baker college .I am honestly greatful to have been a part of the move to a brand new Odyssey house. I never participated in any of the disciplinary actions they tried to include me in. I respected the resident too much to even try to get them in trouble for little stupid things. The rules were crazy and the punishments were just ridiculous. Tuck your shirt in and look straight fwd while someone yells at you. Or knock on a door until they tell you to stop. Or hold a sign in front of everyone with the description of what you did wrong in front of 100+ ppl alone and isolated. It's so much more. I worked there because of wanting to genuinely help change the lives of the residents. Not humiliate them and control them every chance we got. OCCULT.
