The selection at Kevin's carpets seems really good to me, and the sales people there are helpful without being pushy. Somehow I chose a beige carpet out of a hundred shades of beige that was just perfect once installed, soft and cushy. The sales person worked out the best way to maximize the carpet for the room shape as it came on the roll, and the installers were quick, did a beautiful job and put all the furniture back in place. I had to have them come back to replace some pad where rain had come in during the heavy rains this spring and had gotten the carpet wet going into a closet. Their seams were so invisible I didn't even see them and I had ripped the carpet up trying to get up the carpet to remove the wet pad. They seamed the ripped carpet back together where I thought I had ruined it so it doesn't even show. Great professional work! Thank you Jeff and the rest of the crew!

We set the installation date for mid-August at Diana's recommendation. She rescheduled us SIX times. Each time was on the day of the appointment and for a number of different lies. Her installer was sick, he was scared of immigration, he got in a car accident, he was at another job, his back was hurt, they didn't have the carpet (?). I was patient and understanding each time but started to get frustrated. They finally came to install it end of November, beginning of December. Within ONE month of it being installed, the binding started coming off in multiple places and was pulled off and frayed completely in one section. When I reached out about getting it fixed/replaced, I was told that it was probably a vacuum (?) that did it. Shouldn't I be able to vacuum my stairs without a new product being damaged? Diana lied YET AGAIN and told me that even though it wasn't their fault (?) she would replace it. At that time I was told that they could replace the single section that was severely damaged without having to pull up the entire runner. We were rescheduled TWICE before an installer and Diana's son came out to let us know that they did not have the supplies they needed to fix it because they actually WOULD need to tear the entire runner up and redo it. I reached out to Diana who scheduled me for a replacement installation that has now been rescheduled FOUR times. We have texted, we have called, we have gone into the store. Nothing has changed, nothing has happened, and she has still yet to take responsibility for being a TERRIBLE business owner. At this point, we have threatened legal action to which we were told "go ahead but we provided the service we said we would." We have asked for a refund and been denied. We have asked to pick up our replacement carpet ourselves so that we could have another more reliable carpet service install it. And she has said TWICE now that she is unable to get the carpet despite having taken the time off for us to pick it up. We finally were able to pick the carpet up from the store ourselves and take it to Carpet One where they bound it and installed it for us within 2 weeks. If you can avoid Kevin's Carpets DO IT. It is not worth your time, energy, or money.

Taylor and team did an excellent job on our garage floor! We went with a white, blue, and gray color flake and epoxy. The house is new construction but we've been moved in a year. He was kind enough to send his guys over a few days early to help move the heavy stuff out of the garage and into the patio and basement. Their quality is top notch. They use several steps of sanding pad grit to cut the the floor to the perfect abrasiveness for the epoxy to adhere for 15+ years! The sanders they use all have vacuums and pull the dirt away in the same pass They even use a hand grinder for the edges and a dremel in the corners to reach every nook and cranny for that full surface area coverage. They also being their own generator for all the power tools. The epoxy is put down as a base coat, the color flakes applied evenly and then it dries overnight. Finally, the team returns to put the top coat over the color flakes. In the final step, an aluminum oxide is used to make the floor have plenty of grip. No slipping around on this epoxy floor! I would highly recommend TaylorMade DCE for any epoxy and concrete polishing you're considering. I know I'll be using him again for our basement gym! read more

This past Spring 2021 Mason at TaylorMade did a terrific job at Lakeshore Village in Lexington KY on applying a beautiful grey flake epoxy finish to our 3000 square foot - 40 year old concrete pool apron. He took his time to please the customer who was an HOA (neighborhood association). Nothing last forever... but you try to preserve your concrete as long as you can without the expense of total replacement and Epoxy was a great solution and just what we were looking for to keep our costs down in the long run. Working outside with different weather conditions can be tricky in the springtime and they made sure to watch the weather to make sure it was also going to cooperate with his crew. I highly recommend TaylorMade and would not hesitate to use them in our future concrete floor finishing projects. read more

After my husband calling Mr. Little to set up paint days for our farm's wood fences to be painted. Months later finally made it to our farms. It was during winter months so we just waited patiently for them to come. His two sons did the work and were nice to us. A contract price had been agreed upon between Mr. Little and my husband prior to work beginning. This work included our farm, our homestead fences and my son's fences on his property. Three different locations, all close but not connected. I wrote a check for the amount that Mr. Little's sons told me was due for painting all the properties. They even (the son) called their father Mr. Little to see if this was the correct price.. Mr. Little told his son he wasn't in his office to look then. The check was wrote and cashed right away at my bank. My husband asked me the amount wrote and said we were overcharged by $700.00. He had proof on paper and spoke to the owner Mr. Mark Little about the price of painting all the fences many times. My husband immediately placed a call to the owner Mr. Little about the situation and the overpayment. He said he wasn't in his office! He would never call him back. My husband called over and over leaving messages for him to please return his call. So I decided that I would start calling and so I had proof of his conversations and written texts with dates and times. Still after daily attempts for months to contact the owner, Mr. Mark Little he doesn't reach out to us. BE WARNED!!!! He is never in his office! Stay away from this company in Lexington, KY and Mr. Little they are not trustable. Thank you

Park Place also has an Amazon locker which I loved. (And not just Amazon packages arrived in them) The apartment interiors may not be as modern or as up-to-date as newer apartments in the area, but when I moved in, everything was clean and newly painted. All of the kitchen appliances are new as of a few months ago, which was a nice upgrade! And lastly, if you prefer a quieter setting, get on the waiting list for one of the buildings off of Tates Creek/Man-O-War. These roads are very busy and I was happy to have one of the units in the back of the property for less road traffic noise. I was on a waiting list for that one for about 4 months though, so keep that in mind if you want to be more picky with which apartment you want within the property! Barry has been unwilling, at this point, to adjust the cost of service/materials and pay for damages.
