Taylor and team did an excellent job on our garage floor! We went with a white, blue, and gray color flake and epoxy. The house is new construction but we've been moved in a year. He was kind enough to send his guys over a few days early to help move the heavy stuff out of the garage and into the patio and basement. Their quality is top notch. They use several steps of sanding pad grit to cut the the floor to the perfect abrasiveness for the epoxy to adhere for 15+ years! The sanders they use all have vacuums and pull the dirt away in the same pass They even use a hand grinder for the edges and a dremel in the corners to reach every nook and cranny for that full surface area coverage. They also being their own generator for all the power tools. The epoxy is put down as a base coat, the color flakes applied evenly and then it dries overnight. Finally, the team returns to put the top coat over the color flakes. In the final step, an aluminum oxide is used to make the floor have plenty of grip. No slipping around on this epoxy floor! This past Spring 2021 Mason at TaylorMade did a terrific job at Lakeshore Village in Lexington KY on applying a beautiful grey flake epoxy finish to our 3000 square foot - 40 year old concrete pool apron. He took his time to please the customer who was an HOA (neighborhood association). Nothing last forever... but you try to preserve your concrete as long as you can without the expense of total replacement and Epoxy was a great solution and just what we were looking for to keep our costs down in the long run. Working outside with different weather conditions can be tricky in the springtime and they made sure to watch the weather to make sure it was also going to cooperate with his crew.
