Great concept with delicious healthy food. I really enjoy their gyros, soup and salad. Their whipped feta is so yummy. Service is fast and friendly. The two restaurants I have visited from this chain are clean and well kept. I love that they offer family meals, deals and a loyalty points program. Everything they serve is quality and nurtritious. We have been coming regularly since they opened the restaurant. And have really enjoyed the food and the place is always been clean. But today May 30 the place was definitely not clean almost all the tables needed to be wiped and we came outside and there are plates all over the place. What an all-around pleasant experience! We needed a healthy road-trip meal stop and ended up here for a delicious meal. The food was 10/10, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The manager (I assume he was the manager) was making sure the place was well cleaned, and he was checking in on each table to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband is also gluten-free, and he had plenty of delicious options to choose from, with a well-marked menu. We will definitely be back and have saved it as a great road trip stop for the future. I wanted to share this place with my parents after a doctors appointment. I also had my 8 yr old son with that actually has a Gtube. He is not dependent on it and actually has been working to get enough calories by mouth to work towards having it removed. I knew Taziki's would possibly be a hard choice for him because he is a little picky. I asked him if he would try the red potatoes and he said no. My mom ordered the lamb gyro, my dad ordered the steak gyro, and I had the chicken gyro. My mom ordered the red potatoes. My son tried one and loved them! I went back to the counter to order some for him. The owner ended up just giving me a side of them! My dude got his calories and my parents loved trying this place! We got our money back and left. Food took forever. They served same size party of 2 who came in some time AFTER us and we were still waiting. The other party also had a chicken salad, and they got theirs while I watched our chicken and salmon (!!!) getting burned on the grill. Open kitchen is not good for this place as one can observe how SLOW they move, cooks periodically checking their phones. One of the employees was on his phone blocking the drinks section and didn't even move when I said "excuse me". This place has been around for about four months I believe, so it wasn't here the last time I was in Texarkana. Just decided to try something new without doing any research. The restaurant was very clean and orderly, and the dine-in experience was nice. Order at the counter, food brought to you, drinks self serve. The service was prompt and courteous. I ordered the Grilled Lamb Gyro with Roasted Red Potatoes. Unfortunately they were out of the taters so I went with Basmati Rice. The rice was good. The gyro was just how I like it. It had the right proportions of all the ingredients. Very tasty! Only suggestions would be to provide a spoon with the rice as it would be easier to scrape the sides of the serving dish, and the pita could have been a touch warmer. Last but not least, it is so nice to have options like this that aren't completely terrible for your health, and a decent price point. I love gyros. The lamb gyro I ate was pretty good. There wasn't much sauce and it didn't include some flavors I was expecting. But there is a beef option I can try. And I can ask for sauce on the side. The prices are probably average for a self-serve drink machine restaurant. Three meals were $56 including an "optional" tip. The counter person was friendly enough and did a nice job taking orders and bringing the food. Ambiance - The restaurant had a clean fresh vibe.
