I asked for cheeseburger with only mustard, ketchup and cheese. No veggies at all. I also said put chips in bag but not inside the styafoam container. These fools put lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles right by the burger where it was touching on the side of bun. And put the chips inside the container versus in the bag. The mango lemonade was decent, and I appreciated the free refills. I had the catfish dinner -- it was filling, but the Cajun seasoning was really mild and didn't stand out. The fried okra was probably my favorite part -- lightly breaded and extra crunchy, which I liked. The place itself felt like a lot of diners I've come across while living in the Southern U.S.-- a little rundown and nothing that really stood out. I would eat here again. It's a classic diner. I think it's a matter of tastes and what to order. If I go back, I'm probably having pancakes or waffles. Pancake - good texture and flavor. Hash browns - crispy - a little too crispy for me Omelet - tasted good, but is really a frittata or scramble. I much prefer a folded omelet as it is usually more moist and flavorful. Country gravy - good Chicken tacos - son had these. Shell was falling apart and the chicken was dry. He wasn't a fan. Wife had an omelet as well. Food did not come out hot. Upon the suggestion of a colleague, I had lunch here. Unbeknownst to me, the restaurant had a variety of changing daily specials ($8.99), so I tried their special that day; chicken stuffing, with two sides: homemade coleslaw, and greens with onions and ham. (The restaurant had delicious side items that weren't listed on the menu, so be sure to ask for them!) It's really amazing the variety of flavorful foods that this little, family-owned, restaurant served! My meal was so delicious and filling. My waitress also gave me a choice of three different gravies to go with the chicken dressing: brown gravy, white gravy, or giblet gravy. I went with the brown. Also, my meal came with a tasty pop-up dinner roll. It would have been even better with real butter, but all that they had available was margarine. :-( The service was slow, but gracious, patient, and kind. But what else seems to be new these days? I at least received a couple of refills of my unsweetened iced tea, and a free to-go cup of the same. The most astounding thing about my lunch came at the very end. Their homemade apple pie is to die for! Wow. I've not had such a well-balanced piece of apple pie in several years. At $4.99, it was worth every penny. If I lived closer, I would call them and have them make a whole pie for me to bring home. It's that good. Obviously, I will continue returning here. Came here for a quick brunch. Family owned restaurant with a classic American brunch, diner and grill menu. Steak: had the top sirloin with two sides of sweet carrots and grilled veggies (also carrot, then broccoli and cauliflower). Steak ordered medium, came medium, a bit tough but understandable given it is top sirloin. Could use a bit more seasoning. Sweet carrots was a let down. Thought it would be just plain baby carrots with natural sweetness, but they bombarded it with some type of syrup, making it like a sweet-pickled carrot. Not for my appetite. Wonderful little diner with home cooking! Located just off the highway. Employees were all super friendly and attentive. I had hamburger steak and mashed potato and gravy. My wife had catfish and slaw. All were delicious. Looks like a place where all the locals go to because everyone knew everyone. Small family restaurant off highway 30. Great if you're passing through headed to TX or AR. Food was so so. Waffles under cooked, biscuit over cooked. Out of sausage omelet was tasty. Stopped in here for breakfast, before hittin' the road, and because breakfast is my FAVORITE meal of the day! The waitress was young, but stupendous. We went for supper and ordered the catfish dinner. The fish were perfectly cooked and the salad was very fresh and had cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and all the good stuff a salad should have. I had two side besides the salad, coleslaw and carrots. They were good. I had rather the carrots not be candid but they were good. Just butter them for me. We generally visit Arkansas a couple of times a year, and this was our second time to eat lunch at Sheba's. I want to emphasize that our meals were good and we were very happy with them. Hubby had a chicken fried chicken dinner and he said it was very good. I had a baked potato. My potato could have been cooked a bit longer but it was acceptable. My only disappointment this time around was that the ladies' room floor was really dirty. I know that many restaurants are still having trouble with sufficient staffing, but cleanliness is still important. read more

The catfish was excellent, I don't know what they put in the batter, but I've been thinking about it ever since. Chicken fried chicken was a good portion with tender chicken and gravy. Sides were better than expected, carrots were sweet and fresh & the okra was fried in clean oil. I would have given it 5 stars but the staff forgot our salads and I had to go back and remind them. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and wanted a nice diner to go to. It was absolutely HORRIBLE. I ordered a patty melt that had an old piece of meat on it and greasy onions and really old shriveled up mushrooms. Gross!
