DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. Went for a bumper repair. When I picked it up they charged me more than we…read moreagreed upon for "hardware" to reinstall the front lip spoiler. Mind you all the brand new OEM hardware was given to them by me. Few weeks later the lip fell off. Turns out they didn't line up the lip properly to the underbelly pan so none of the holes line up. So they drove a bunch of cabinet screws into the underbelly pan to "secure the lip". They also didn't use any of the OEM hardware they removed that secured the lip to the bumper. they also didn't use not reinstall the grille properly and damaged it. This was also a brand new grille. I also found paint drips so I talked to them about fixing the paint. I elected to remove the bumper myself and being it to them. Dropped it off and a week later Danny tells me that there's cracks in the bumper. I told him they weren't there when I dropped it off, the bumpers been in their shop for 7-8 days at this point and he apparently just starting to work on it. Danny tells me come the next morning and it will be ready. Show up, nothings been touched. Take it out of frustration and figure I'll just have to pay a better shop to do it over. Danny apologizes and says he's shorthanded and if I bring it back and he will fix it personally. Take the bumper back again. Danny it'll be done that day. It's not. Come two days later. Paint is touched up slightly. Grille is WORSE than before. Huge gaps between grille and bumper that he managed to somehow make bigger than when I dropped it off. And he let his sander hit the lip spoiler (which is black plastic and was also BRAND NEW) leaving a massive white sanding scrape on it. BUYER BEWARE. AWFUL WORK. AWFUL TO DEAL WITH. WONT STAND BY HIS WORK. I have never seen a service business run this poorly.

If you're wanting to come here DONT. This shop wanted to charge my mom $100 more for another quote…read morebecause of the mistake they made on her initial quote. The mistake? They put the wrong name in the quote after being told multiple times the correct name that should be on the quote. Their response? Not our fault, that's insurance fraud (she wanted to get a quote because of an insurance claim) even though the mistake was done on their end. Conclusion: If they can't do basic admin work and own up to their mistake then I think that should summarize how easy they are willing to make a QUICK BUCK and the type of work they do. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because according to them they "got 5 or 6 things better to do" in which I think it would be best to give them more free time since it seems like they need it. Moral of the story: IF THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK FOR MESSING UP A NAME ON A QUOTE THEN I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW DESPERATE THEY MUST BE TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK IN ORHER SERVICES THEY PROVIDE. To owner: May you be blessed with all the free time you expressed you needed for your 5 to 6 things you had better to do.

John and Justin were absolutely incredible and helpful throughout this entire process! They were completely transparent, professional, and skipped the usual dealership upsell nonsense. They pinpointed the exact issue, replaced my V8 spark plugs, and did a thorough throttle body cleaning. Best of all, they worked with me on my budget and payment options so I could get my car fully fixed and back on the road the same day. If you want honest mechanical work in Palm City, go see John and Justin here! They are very friendly and if you are local I highly recommend them especially if you have a high performance car. I can definitely say my money was well spent and it was 200% worth it!!

I've never left a bad review in my life. Palm City Auto did me wrong and I need to say something…read moreinstead of keeping it unheard. I had taken my older car for a rubbing noise in my tire. They said the wheel bearings and both tie rods needed to be replaced. I also signed up for the top tier $125 auto detail (more on that later). I agreed to replace the wheel bearings and both tie rods and wheel alignment. Paid a good sum of money for this repair. Within nine months my front passenger tire was completely bald and close to blowing out. Took it to Tire Kingdom to get a new tire and alignment. They couldn't do the alignment because the tie rods were shot. Both sides. So why didn't the repair I had paid for last? Going back in time to the visit to PC Auto: They were supposed to detail my car the day of the repair. They weren't able to do the exterior work (waxing, etc) because there was a very bad storm. Which ok, that was fine, no big deal. When I got into my car to leave, I noticed that the interior detail was extremely deficient. Granted, it was super dirty. I'm a single mom of a very special-needs child, the last thing I have time for is cleaning my car. So I paid for the top detail package. For instance, just using the steering wheel as the point I'm choosing to use as an example, rather than listing all the interior areas neglected, but the steering wheel hadn't been touched and was still so dirty that I took a napkin and rubbed water on a spot, leaving a clear circle showing it wasn't cleaned (that was just one area. I wish I could share the picture I took. It wasn't just a little difference, it was way blatant). I went back inside to let them know they didn't touch a lot of the interior (even the inside of the windows). They did a good job vacuuming and shampooing the carpets though! The owner (I understand there's two owners, a front store owner and a back store owner?) The back store owner ( I don't know if I'm phrasing that correctly) looked at it, annoyed with me, said "well you only paid for the basic." "No, I paid for the top one! And even the basic would clean the windows and steering wheel and door panel. Look, I can rub it off with water!" So they said they would finish it when I brought the car back to complete the exterior when the weather was better. I took my car back within a few days of the repair to finish the detail and also because I still heard the original noise that replacing the wheel bearings and tie rod was supposed to fix. The sound didn't happen when I rode with the mechanic, so they never identified it, but apparently it wasn't the wheel bearings and tie rod that I was told was the problem. (have since found out it was the brake backing plate, simple bending it solved the sound). So that day (I was very nice about this too!) they washed their hands of me. They refunded my money for the auto detail. I figured, okay, they gave my money back, I got a partial detail... I'll let it go and move on. But when I found out that the repair I paid good money for didn't last (what, six months tops?) and I had to get all new tie rods and an alignment all over again, and a new tire (!), realizing I wasted a lot of my hard-earned money on them and had to go through this repair all over again, and pay for it again, I'm pissed and not keeping quiet about it anymore. Palm City Auto did me wrong. Even though I was super nice about the whole thing, they washed their hands of me, and then I find out that it was all for nothing. Not cool.

Do NOT take your vehicle to this place. When I first picked up my 26 year old truck, it looked…read moregreat. Shortly thereafter the paint began to chip because they did not prep it correctly. After taking it back for correction, they left overspray everywhere. Additionally they did not secure the fender flares and badging properly as the fender flare came off going down the highway and the badging was hanging off when I got home. I also had them do a blackout on all trim...it is coming off to the point it needs repainting.. Next they asked me to tape off all the areas that needed correction. After seeing what I taped off, they decided the entire truck had to be repainted. Again, I got it back and the badging was not affixed propearly, so I fixed it myself. As well, they did not put the tow hooks back on my bumper that is already showing rust...again...no prep work. There is absolutely no quality control in this business. I told the owner that if they continue to do business like this that it wouldn't be long that they would be out of business. Interestingly enough, there were also two other people I work with who were also having to take their vehicles back for rework. DO NOT utilize this so called affordable auto painting.
