There is a lobby inside that is great for studying. The majority of the coffee shops in mountain home do not have indoor and outdoor seating for you. Also located with an ice cream shop inside. The location is nice because I feel like most of the coffee shops are on airbase road, so it's nice to have one on American legion.

What makes the location so good is that it's directly across from the farmers market (in season), and also has an attached Montana gifts location and a very cool local bookstore. Good place to spend a few minutes or a few hours. The service has always been very customer considerate. I've been there on occasion when I just wanted coffee and little conversation and that's what I got. Conversely, I've come it full of energy and ready to socialize and they have been very cool to talk to as my java is made. I may just be lucky, but they've had a great sense of humor as well each time I've visited. Amazing small town coffee shop!
