I sent another email in June to try to verify again that they were good to continue childcare after the summer, and never heard back. Since my conversations with her, Valerie left or was fired and the spots my children had, were given to other children. It is a somewhat small school so the students get plenty of attention from the teachers and staff. There are myriad extracurricular activities as well - arts, athletics, etc. Virtually every graduate goes on to college, and that includes some of the top colleges in the country. One telling statistic is that Holland Hall is always near the top in the state in National Merit Scholars. I will tell you that it is very pricey, and it is a major sacrifice for me, but they do offer financial aid for those who may not be able to afford to send their children here otherwise. I can't say enough good things about Holland Hall, so I will just close by saying it is as much a family as it is a school.
