I ordered a graduation lei. When I called a week early- they said they only had 5 left... like they were already in the refrigerator but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they assured me they were TCU purple and not the normal orchid. I picked up the lei on graduation day- it was exactly the same orchid lei that Safeway and other grocery stores carry.... For $75 more. But I figured it was Texas, not a lot of leis and you pay for convenience. So at the end of the ceremony, I pull it out of the plastic container where it had been sitting under my seat in the very comfortably air conditioned Shollmaier arena- it was brown (orchids can be delicate but they were old) and it completely fell apart. It was not knotted properly. It took 6 of us to call upon our fly fishing and sailing knots to finally piece it together. All that was left was enough string and (brown) orchids for a chocker. For the same price, I could have easily ordered and had it shipped fresh from Hawaii (I have done this before for less) but I fell for the TCU purple promise and convenience. Rebecca arranged the flowers for our wedding August 2020 and I could not keep my eyes off of them! They were beyond what I imagined, after a single consultation over the phone. My aunt worked more closely with them than I did and also confirmed that they were easy to work with. I especially appreciated that they were willing to work with us to figure out a way to get the flowers to two places (someone from our party was able to pick them up from a singular location --rather than us needing to get delivery to two locations). Our wedding was smaller than originally planned and we wanted to make sure that the size did not take away from the elegance and TCU Florist really came through in making this possible. I needed a last-minute plant delivery for a co-worker in the hospital. This florist was very reasonably priced and the website was extremely user friendly. My wife was feeling blue so i decided to send her some flowers. I picked a place close to where she works. I figured a close place would make sure she would get them early in the day and they would be fresh. They where wilted. The vase had stuff in the bottom - looked like an old arrangement had the real bad flowers removed and some new ones added. My wife did call and they did send a replacement. I ordered Mother's Day flowers and ordered approx. 3 weeks in advance for delivery on Saturday in Keller. Florist called to say could only deliver on Thursday to Keller. I appreciated the call but you should only be able to select a delivery date to the location when you order vs having deliveries not on the day you requested. Normally, the experience I have had using TCU Florist has been top notch! I have often relied on them for my floral needs for Valentines Day and Anniversaries and it has been my experience that TCU florist knocks it out of the park. But this time, my wife and I are very disappointed with the arrangement I ordered to be delivered to my wife. In the past, the bouquets have lasted a long time, the arrangements have been flawless. In this instance though, TCU florist really dropped the ball in a few ways: 1.) Flowers were noticeably not fresh, as if the arrangement had been made days ago and was sitting in the fridge over the weekend. 2.) Petals on every single tulip (my wife's favorite flower) were damaged. 3.) Petals began falling off by the second day after she received her arrangement. 4.) Filler flowers in the arrangement began dying on the second day and now on day three look pathetic. 5.) We are afraid to pick up and move the arrangement to add water to the vase because the arrangement may fall apart completely. This is sad because we have never had a bad experience with TCU florist until now. It's very disappointing for such a notably excellent flower shop to mishandle this arrangement so badly. read more

I called to order flowers for a friend who had just had surgery. The florist was sooooo helpful. She knew my friend was still in Intensive Care and the would deliver when she get's out. Secondly, the arrangement that I ordered was the same arrangement that someone else had ordered, so I could change my order.
