I was…read moretraveling through multiple states and not having any luck finding a branch of my bank to get cash. Little did I know, the NH and ME DOT turnpikes did not accept debit cards. I rarely carry cash anymore because everyone accepts cards now. Well, with the exception of the DOT in NH and ME. The tollbooth personnel made me feel like I was the scourge of the earth because I didn't have cash for the toll. In order to avoid the same situation at the next toll, I had to get cash and get it fast. I stumbled upon this adorable branch of Bath Savings and went through the drive-up ATM. It was fast and efficient. If I lived here, I would open an account immediately.

Conveniently on Friday they said they could not go further in the process due to issues on my credit report ( charged off account that was paid in full prior) which they saw and new about prior to my approval with conditions.So basicly they denied me with the same information they approved me with. I then called Sara who is a supervisor. She claims she can't refund our money due to I cannot prove the underwriters saw or new about that information on my credit report that they had prior to my conditional approval . She then informed me that my 500.00 deposit was already spent. Wow, spent my money immediately after my 4 day aporoval.
