Waited over 55 minutes to see a banking employee. They only have 2 out of 5 desk maned... Terrible

Terrible bank, terrible service, terrible rules. They treat your money like it's not yours

Although I like TD Bank on general and believe it's employees are very professional as I have been a client there for over 8 years, this branch isn't up to the bar at all... I needed to do some changes to my account over the phone and purposely called my branch where I opened the account expecting a superior service since they know the quality of my transactions throughout the years, the person on the phone was rude, unhelpful as I asked to close my account due to moving in a state which doesn't have TDBranches. He asked me to go to the branch! and hung up the phone on my face when I told him I will call the main office as close my account. I called the main office and closed my account very smoothly. read more

Service is horrible, banking is outdated and not in good hands! The best advice I have for anyone that wants to bank DO NOT BANK WITH TD!!! Burn your money before giving TD a penny, in this case at least you will be in control of your money not these fools. read more

Very disappointed in the way this bank handles Fraud, I have had an account for almost 20 years, 2 years ago I received a call from the CT Branch asking me if I visited their branch today, I live in Long Island NY I advised that I was not there, they said someone was at their branch claiming to be me and had driver's license with my information on it and they just let him go . I closed my account and opened another one, on 2/10/23 I received another call from the same branch asking the same questions and of course I was not at that branch, again they just let him go. At this point I closed the account again and reopened another one. On 2/27/23 I received another call this time from the Orlando Florida Branch asking if I was there today and I advised them that I was in New York, They knew that the person had NY license that was a fake and again they just let him go, they scanned the license and sent me a copy. This time I closed the account for good I took the money out. I went to the FBI and my local police and filed reports mean while because of TD's lack of interest in Fraud this low life is out there with my information. I checked my other banks, and they advised that if this situation occurred at their locations, they would have called the police immediately. Also, the fact that this is only happening with TD Bank leads me to believe that there must have been a security breach with their bank. Not one person from TD Bank wanted to help me I was promised a call back from a Izzy in New York this morning which never happened. You would think that they would have offered me Fraud protection. Instead, here I am writing this complaint, which I am sure will do nothing. Do yourselves a favor and get your money out. I am going through a lot of trouble going to Trans Union, Department of Motor Vehicles, Local Police, Orland Police, FBI when TD Bank could have put a stop to this immediately. Recently opened an account with them to take advantage of the coin counting machines they have in the physical branch. Fortunately they're one of the few banks still provide free coin counting services as most of other major banks (Chase/BoA) no longer accept unrolled coins and I didn't want to shell out the fee at Coin Star. The machine here works great was quick and painless Location was very clean and the bank teller was quite friendly and efficient. Definitely a decent branch location. Location is quite accessible too from both 231 and Commack rd if you go through the connected plaza next to it. I was in and out of the branch in less than 5 minutes to make my deposit. Quite a bonus that they open for 4 hours on Sunday and weekends and stay open till 8 on Thurs/Friday, very convenient for those with regular day jobs! read more

I have so many complaints against TD this year but this one takes the cake. I am in the middle of switching all of my accounts to a different bank. This bank somehow allowed and approved a $450 charge on my debit card in a town 3 hours away from my home. I immediately called them to dispute the charge to have it denied with no explanations or answers as to why. Not one customer rep from this branch had answers or offered any type of assistance whatsoever. Useless. Online/phone customer service was just as useless. One of the biggest concerns as a consumer is fraud detection/identity theft and our MONEY! TD has the worst fraud protection which will only lead to endless back and forth with their pathetic customer service. If this is how they treat customers and their money, I'll gladly take all of my business and accounts to a bank that will actually protect my identity and my accounts from fraud. I hear Chase is excellent. I gave it 1 star because that is the only way I can review it on yelp not because they deserve it. read more

Very rude all tellers horrible mean and nasty for no reason went to cash a check from someone at there bank and they charged me 7$ plus yelled at me because I didn't know and the lady literally stuffed the money in my hand aggressively wanted to open and account but will definitely take my business elsewhere will never bank somewhere wehere even the people not helping u tell across the deal and in a nasty manor tell u something ever no wonder it was empty no one wants to deal with business that way ever if u don't like ur job work somewhere else !! read more

The customer service representatives at this branch as well as the assistant managers only know how to sit at their desks and twiddle their thumbs. I came in and sat down waited 10 minutes to be assisted only to be told by every single CSR person there that NONE of them knew how to reset an online login account that only the manager knew. This amazes me that the manager has nothing better to do then to help people like me reset passwords. Save yourself the headache here and go down deer park avenue to the other TD bank location. Its a bank. I deposited my check in the ATM. I was done. Can't complain.

Had to go into this local branch because my card was locked out. (Side note) The customer service on the phone is the absolute worst. The woman literally left me in tears due to how nasty she was to me when I was just trying to figure out why I couldn't use my card. I work hard for my money & its the worst feeling when your card gets declined & you have sufficient funds in the account. I go in to get this all sorted out & the teller has absolutely no clue why my account was locked. She waits on hold for a solid 30 minutes before finally telling me to go & she will give me a call later. I then call back hours later because there was no correspondence between this bank & I.. wondering why I haven't heard from anyone. When I tell the woman over the phone she says "Well we are really busy, non-stop on Saturday's & the phones are off the hook" as if I shouldn't be shocked I didn't get a phone call. Don't tell me you're going to call me if you had no intentions of actually calling me back. I could have just stopped by later in the day. Am I not equally as important as every other customer you are trying to serve? In my line of work I would never tell anyone that they shouldn't be shocked I didn't do my job. If multiple things weren't linked to this account I would have closed it out today. No questions asked. Far too many banks to be putting up with their bullshit. Ohhh & too top it all off no one knows WHY MY ACCOUNT WAS LOCKED. read more
