As a new broker, I feel very fortunate to be part of a great company. The corporate staff is…read moreaccessible, helpful, and friendly. Doing this on my own without any of this support would be daunting and slow. I'm already out making connections and building my business because of the support given to me from the company. This is a group of people who are passionate about what they do and have been doing it for decades. Thankful for their help! Shoutout to Marie, Nathan, Lord, Tracey, David, Joe, and many others who have been helping on this journey!

Unfortunately, every interaction I've had with Invested has been negative…read more If you're able to connect directly with the salesperson handling the listing, they do have a thorough process for verifying proof of funds, which I have no issue with. My frustration is that they require a $99 fee just to release the address, even though I don't need the address. My goal is simply to speak with the owner, ask due diligence questions, and review the financials. If you don't pay the $99, they won't connect you with the owner or provide access to the financial information, which I find unreasonable. This is the only brokerage I've consistently had issues working with. In my opinion, it's poor representation of their clients' interests. If the objective is to sell the business, creating unnecessary barriers over a $99 fee only discourages qualified buyers and slows the process.

Jovia took over NEFCU so now we have this ultra modern state of the future building…read more People can all self serve at the many computers. A warm greeting and the front desk will set you up at your screen with a love teller likely working from a safe location. A nice Jovia teller sprung up on screen and helped me complete by transaction. It was quick, efficient and pleasant. Only reason for the four stars is the reviewer here may not be ready for the future. Still prefer old fashioned bankers at the desk saying hello. So for the AI protest which is useless I'm keeping this at four for now. May update one day when I decide if I prefer less or more human interaction.

I am filing this complaint on behalf of my mother, who is a member of Jovia Financial Credit Union…read more My mother has Alzheimer's disease and currently resides in a memory care facility in Rhode Island. Jovia Financial has locked her account and refuses to restore access unless she appears in person at a New York branch. Due to her medical condition and disability, traveling to New York is not possible. We have provided Jovia with a valid Rhode Island Durable Power of Attorney that authorizes me, her daughter, to act on her behalf in financial matters. However, Jovia has refused to accept the Power of Attorney. Despite repeated requests, they have not provided a clear legal explanation for rejecting it or identified what documentation, if any, would be acceptable. When we requested a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) because my mother cannot travel, the only alternative Jovia offered was for her to take a selfie while holding her identification. We complied with this request, but Jovia refused to accept the submission. They have not offered any other accommodation or alternative method to verify her identity, despite our repeated requests. As a result, my mother has been completely denied access to her own funds. This has caused significant hardship and unnecessary stress for a vulnerable individual suffering from Alzheimer's disease. I believe Jovia has failed to make a reasonable effort to accommodate a disabled member and has provided no meaningful path for her to regain access to her account. Their refusal to accept a valid Power of Attorney, combined with their unwillingness to provide any reasonable alternative for identity verification, has effectively left my mother without access to her own finances. I respectfully request that the Better Business Bureau assist in resolving this matter by asking Jovia Financial Credit Union to: Review and accept my mother's valid Rhode Island Durable Power of Attorney, or provide a written legal basis for refusing to do so. Provide reasonable accommodations that allow a disabled member who cannot travel to verify her identity and regain access to her account. Restore access to my mother's account without requiring in-person travel that is medically impossible. Review its policies to ensure that elderly and disabled members receive appropriate accommodations and are not denied access to their accounts because of disabilities. We have made every effort to cooperate with Jovia's requests, yet they continue to reject every solution without offering any viable alternative. We are simply asking for a reasonable, legally compliant way for my mother to access her own funds.
