Definitely America's most INconvenient bank! I've been trying to get my small business account up and running for over 2 weeks. The bank holds deposits on all new accounts for up to 8 business days within the first 30 days of the account. They say 6 business days - but they don't count the day of deposit, and they don't mention the additional day for "processing". Insane! They've been holding hostage $4k of my money for the past 6 business days, without making a single dollar available to me. I've been on the phone daily with the Small Business folks, trying to move the ball forward and set up online banking, etc. There are long wait times at the Yonkers branch and the service is not friendly. Worst bank in the history of Banks. They are refusing to allow me to transfer my savings account funds to an external account. They are using every stalling tactic in the book to hinder me from transferrong my funds out of their account. To be honest, I came to this location before and didn't have a pleasant time. But, this time around, I met two people who truly cared about servicing clients. Their names are Najia Simpson and Tariq. I had a flight out to LA at 5:29 am and needed another card to travel with. We came in a little bit after 1:00 pm and usually, we know that people have to shut down administrative work in order to close at a certain time. But, they supported me in my goal of getting a new card and I truly appreciate their kindness and service. So, ask for them! read more

I called ahead to ask if they had a notary available. They have great hours. However, after signing in, waiting, and then being called I presented the documents that needed to be notarized. She asked what they were for. I said a divorce and she promptly refused service. If they had exceptions to notarizing that's fine, but don't make me come down there, sign in, wait, and then tell me you won't do it. I ended up at Grassy Sprain Pharmacy where they had a notary who would witness the paperwork. This was my first time in this bank branch and it will be my last. read more

both the atm machines are not working more often than not. I often have to drive to Scarsdale to use the atm there. One time both atm machines were down so I tried to go to the teller, system was down.. another time my td bank app told me money had cleared and I go to the bank and they denied me my money because my signature was sloppy. And the guy was not nice about it he shrugged while grinning at me.. guess my frustration was amusing to him.For a back that call themselves convenient banking here sure is a hassle. read more

HUGE Issue....not sure if it's just me but I can never get into the ATM section after hours. My TD bank never works. What's the deal???

I was there after work on 2/15/24 to cash my check and I was given back a $100 short out of my check and I counted it there but realized when I got home after counting again!!!! the next day I called the branch and asked to speak to the supervisor and some guy answered and said she arrives at 10 AM. I left a message with the gentleman with my name and phone number and told him to tell her to call me back I asked what was the supervisors name and he said her name is Karen Which she never called me back I called back a second time they said she's busy. I left a second message she never called me back again,I called her back a third time and she finally answered and she said oh was you on my list to call back like if it was a joke so I told her the reason why I was calling, I told her I was there, and that the teller that took care of me giving me back the wrong change and I was $100 short she put me on hold for the longest time she came back to the phone and asked me again to please tell her what had happened as if the first time wasn't enough like if it was a joke so again I repeated, and told her what had happened and she said to me that she had checked the machine, and that the machine had showed her that she gave me the correct change back, which was not true because the teller never put the hundred dollar bills on the machine so I told her so nothing can be done. She said unfortunately not I said so. I'm gonna have to eat it then this is ridiculous. I think this branch they're a bunch of thieves. I feel like I was not treated as a customer after being with Td bank for so many years, worst ever. I think I'm going to change banks. This is absolutely ridiculous. This is a very convenient location and I was glad to see the branch had expanded into another area in Yonkers. I ATM is usually quick and rarely is there a wait. However once you go inside it's another story. The few times I've needed to deal with tellers there has been a delay. I don't know if is because of scheduling or what but they need to remedy this issue. read more

The World's Most Convenient Bank. That's their motto yet it is a total lie. I've had many banks accounts and this bank has been the worst. This branch in particular, but this goes for the company in general. I can't tell you how many times I've needed to take money out and the ATMs were not working or once the pandemic came how hard it was to get in to see someone or do business. Even when all other places opened up this branch did not. Even before the covid thing happened it was impossible to talk to someone on the phone and nobody ever returns calls when you do finally get someone after a half hour or more. An example of how lame they are is they allowed someone to steal $900 out of my account and then would not give it back to me while they dealt with the issue. This started in February of this year and I just got my money back two days ago! Inexcusable. Not once did anyone return any of my calls until last week to tell me a date I might see my money back. They only did anything on my behalf if I went in to talk to them personally. By doing this it prolonged the whole ordeal because I never was told about situations that arose. An example was the morons in the Fraud Dept. sent the wrong form I was supposed to get signed and notarized, which I did, and I didn't find this out because nobody called me like they should've and it took from May to July before I knew this problem existed. How wrong was that! And their fraud dept. doesn't even talk to anyone lower than a manager so the guy I was talking with never got responses. How can you work for the same company and not respond to inquiries from your coworkers? Such poor customer service in my opinion. Unfortunately I will probably stay with TD because they are the only ones with ATMs through out the eastern US where I travel even though they don't have enough of them and it would be such a hassle to change all my accounts over. Just take this as what it was meant to be, a warning that you will not get good customer service and the ATMs will be not working half the time if you join this bank. TD Bank Sucks! read more

This is the closest branch to my home ; only reason I come here. This is my 3rd time withdrawing money from the drive thru and it's always an issue. I am here at this moment I figure since they let u wait so damn long why not tell them how I really feel. I arrived here at 3:05 it is 3:30 and I still have not received my cash. When I arrived I had to ring the call teller button 4 times then finally someone came you would think since the branch inside is closed there would be someone here helping customers at the drive thru. what happen td bank you were once labeled the most convient bank but since the pandemic thats no longer true as branches were dark for months , when branches finally started opening, hours were limited , staff were not that friendly, some locations required you scan a bar code via your phone before entering but it didnt seem to work and i started to get pissed and as i was leaving the manager who remembered my handsome face opened the door and let me in. very simple task at hand, i need a bank check, wrote all the info on a clean piece of paper, printed all info including amount clearly and now its the bank teller /rep to do the rest. it took a while to get my check in my hands due to reasons not explained but better late then never. i will stick with td bank as sh#t happens and we all need to be reasonable during a pandemic but come on td bank bring back the coin machine it was fun to use. read more

I was glad when this location opened because of convenience. However whenever I have visited this bank it has been crowded. The staff is friendly for the most part. However the employees are not in much of a hurry to get the line reduced when crowded. This is unfortunate because the bank itself is very nice, always clean and security is always alert and courteous. Hopefully the management will make some improvements. read more

Decided to leave HSBC as they are closing branches all over Yonkers and haven't been great in general... figure I upgrade. Heard good things about TD, also had a minor account with them for the kids of a while and never had an issue. Setting up account was easy... got my card on the spot. HOWEVER... no one informed me that after my first direct deposit, they would lock up my money for 2 weeks until the cleared it, We called the 800 number, were told that fraud dept was put a hold on the money and only way to get it removed was to go to the branch for a release. Went to branch, teller and manager are looking at me like I am crazy and cant help me as they have never heard of such a thing. Called 800 again... sorry sir you have to wait the full 2 weeks before you can get your money. Now I am trying to shuffle funds to be able to pay my bills. To say the least... I went into this bank yesterday to open a checking and savings account. I have been banking with another bank for years and suddenly I am having problems with them. I heard good things about TD so I went to my nearest location. I went in and stated my business to a woman that seemed to be a teller. I was a little put off, as one usually goes to a desk to ask questions and open an account. When the questions got a little more in depth, I asked if we could speak in a more private area. She then instructed another woman to help me from there. We went to her desk and I started explaining why I was leaving my current bank and asking about their policies in certain situations. The entire time while sitting there, her demeanor was one that I am taking up her precious time AND she kept looking over my shoulder into the lobby as if she had important business there. I got the message that she could care less if I banked with them. I left there so annoyed with the poor customer service I got and now am writing this review. An employee like that hurts a business and I would think TD bank would want to know this. I went to another bank and was treated so beautifully, with such professionalism. Night and day difference. I went into the branch open open the new account that's when my nightmare began. I set there for nearly 10 minutes until somebody acknowledge that was there because all the employees were involved in their own conversation not paying attention to one thing in that branch. After almost opening a new checking account I was told to wait on that another endless line with only one bank teller working well all the other employees again were in their own conversation ignoring everything else going on in that branch I immediately canceled opening a new bank account there very poor management.
