If you are used to milk tea from popular boba tea franchises like Tapioca Lounge, Sharetea, Gongcha, Tiger Sugar, and even Kung Fu Tea, then I am sorry to say...the milk tea at Hey Boba and similar privately owned boba tea shops taste "diluted" and sometimes "powdery." Hey Boba tea does not taste powdery though, but does taste diluted. I want to support local businesses which is why I gave it a 4 stars. For me, the best boba tea shop in Tulsa is Kung Fu Tea even though Kung Fu Tea is my least favorite out of all the boba tea franchises.

For some reason the woman in the drive through rang me up for 6 drinks. I didn't know that they were making 6 drinks until I was getting my coffee out of the window because she never read the order back to me before I paid for it. I didn't make a stink about it to her because I get it, I work in food service too, but you should always read the order back to somebody before submitting it. I will be coming back again because the coffee is fantastic and the service was good besides that, but if you're going through the drive through please be careful when communicating with the servers and communicate extra clearly. It didn't help that the person behind me was honking. Maybe the patrons could learn a thing or two about patience.

This was one of those moments & this Topeca was open (till 4 on Sunday) and came in the clutch. It's off of their (seasonal) Summer Menu so I went ahead with another that was on it, a Cascara Energy drink. It's iced and it was super good. Hints of cherry in every sip. I got the Polish Sausage Roll to go with my drink. I grabbed some dijon mustard & went to work. I enjoyed it, there was a non-polish sausage one as well. They're a pretty good size. The server was super nice & friendly. Compared to other locations, this one had chia seed puddings. Different kinds that look good & all had fruit on top. I just might start visiting this one more often.
