I've heard of Tea Drip before, but have never been until recently. I've always heard about how pricey it is, and while I somewhat agree, I think the quality of their drinks make it worth it! They have various options from coffees, to teas, to matchas. Their strawberry match latte is the BEST! and my most recent fix has been the Drip Coffee with Ube Foam. It is the perfect mix of sweet and strong. I get it a little less sweet and it is PERFECT. I was worried the Ube flavor would be lost by the strong flavor of viet coffee, but it was well balanced and enjoyable. The staff were very helpful during my first visit and gave me recommendations. Came here because Yelp told me to check this place out. I shared a Ube Drip coffee and an order of mini taiyaki. It was good, but I thought default level amount of ice was way too much. Really good strawberry matcha latte! It was fragrant and you could definitely taste the matcha. I will say it was very sweet even though I asked for 50% sugar. The ube latte was good and the ube was so strong BUT it was 80% ice!! For the price, it was definitely expensive for the amount of coffee we got. The service was also okay, they should maybe ask for names for tell you a number to pick up drinks. Cause they just yell out the drink names and everyone basiclaly gets the matcha drink so it was a little confusing. The service wasn't as friendly. read more

I really like this new coffee/tea shop up in the Duluth area. Tea drip is slightly unique where they favor on the coffee side instead of the bubble tea side. They have quite the selection of phin drip coffees with fun flavors on top. We got the Ube drip coffee, egg coffee, as well as the strawberry matcha. For the coffees they were extremely sweet. The egg was a smooth custard like consistency and the Ube was a nice strong flavor. I love a good strawberry matcha and this one did not disappoint. Overall pretty good experience! Had to get our boba fix after eating a meal so we decided to come here since we were in the area. We ordered the brown sugar boba milk and taro Ube milk. Second time here so far. It's a pretty unique Viet coffee place with great cream topping flavors. The coffee can be regular or less strong, but be warned regular is pretty strong (stronger than standard Viet coffee imo). (4.5 stars) I'm only doggin off .5 of a star because the liquid to foam ratio was SO OFF (as shown in photos LOL) but anyways the coffee?GREAT. the cold foam flavor? EVEN BETTER! This is one of my favorite machos in the Atlanta area, which I do know Duluth is about 40 minutes away, but you know it's metro Atlanta I literally will drive 40 minutes for this Matcha because I love it so much. I recently visited Tea Drip for their soft opening and tried their Taro Ube Milk and it was soooo good! The slush was perfectly blended, with a smooth, creamy texture that was super refreshing. They also use lactose-free whole milk. They actually use real taro too which I really appreciated. The shop itself had a cozy vibe, and the staff was friendly, which always makes for a great experience. if you're a fan of taro or looking for something new to try, I highly recommend!! I recently tried out the strawberry matcha latte. Oh my god it's so perfect!!! The matcha was so strong, the milk wasn't overbearing, and there's so much strawberry inside. The PROPORTIONS are literally so perfect. Some places do not have strong enough matcha, too much milk etc but i cannot ask for better proportions here. I got this in "less sweet" and it was perfect. I've been a customer for awhile, I really enjoy the taste of the drinks. However, a couple suggestions from my last couple of visits. I notice that other customers around me had the same uncomfortable look. 1. All employees were busy making drinks and cleaning which is very understandable, I'm in no rush. But after 10 min of just standing there, not a single person greeted you "hello" or "we will be right with you" to acknowledge you exist. 2. If you order more than one drinks then be ready to have one drink sitting on the table melting away all the flavors until the other one is ready. I don't understand why each drink couldn't be called on when it is ready. I had to watch a couple of customers walk up to ask if they can take their drinks because they too, had been sitting there watching the drinks melt away... read more

First time trying the ube drip coffee and I was not disappointed! The coffee is strong and the ube flavor is prominent. I was thinking the ube flavor wouldn't come thru too much but it does! I'm a fan of anything ube and I highly recommend this drink! Side note: you can adjust the sweetness but not the ice level. I got it how it comes with 100% sugar which I think is perfect but wish the ice wasn't so full since the drink cost $7.37 total. read more

Taro Ube Milk was also very good but next time I'll need to lessen the sugar in it. It was a bit too sweet with the regular sugar amount. I had heard this place was under the same ownership as the previous boba shop - they just didn't want to be under the previous chain any longer. So I had hoped I'd get to taste the same quality of drinks as before. My favorite drink when it was under the previous chain was the ube taro milk, but it unfortunately didn't hit the same. However, I did enjoy other drinks on their menu! The artichoke tea was so refreshing, tasted slightly herbal, and was not too sweet. Their Vietnamese coffee is superrrr strong. Tea Drip really surprised me--in the best way. I got the Vietnamese coffee with custard foam and my wife got the one with ube foam. Both were excellent. The coffee is strong and rich like it should be, and the foams added a smooth, creamy layer that took it to the next level. The custard foam was super unique, and the ube gave it that extra flavor without being too sweet. What really stood out was how authentic the coffee tasted. It reminded me of the Vietnamese coffee I've had in Little Saigon back in California--and even the coffee I had when I visited Vietnam. They do it right here. We also grabbed a mango cloud for the road, and that one was just as impressive--refreshing, flavorful, and super well-balanced. We added boba to both the mango drink and the coffee, and it was amazing--chewy, fresh, and slightly sweet, just how it should be. Tea Drip doesn't just stick to Vietnamese coffee either. They offer a wide range of specialty coffees and boba drinks, and everything we've tried has been high quality and made with care. Service was quick, and the vibe inside is clean and modern. Went with some friends and got the mango cloud, the Ceylon black milk tea, and the coco matcha. For me, the mango cloud and the Ceylon milk tea weren't anything special. But the coco matcha was the star of the show. It's matcha cold foam on top of coconut water and it was super refreshing. If you add boba to it, it's about $9, which is pretty crazy for a drink. So I feel like I would only come here for a special occasion, but overall, the drinks were good. read more

The egg and ube Vietnamese coffee was really good. If you've ever tried Da Vien from Cali, this coffee drink is pretty close to that. We got 50% sweet for all of the drinks and it was perfect! The drink was beautifully packaged and the flavor is exactly as described: tart lemon with a hint of sweetness topped with creamy sweet foam. I happily sipped it and indulged in a refreshing afternoon treat. They also had a tea of the day sample which was a nice surprise. The aesthetic of the shop is very beautiful bright, and clean. Everything was thoughtfully designed and certainly added to the experience. Whenever I'm in Duluth I will add space in my itinerary for Chicha San Chen!

I was stumped on what I wanted to try so I asked the employee for recommendations. She mentioned that the Bubble Milk Tea is their top seller, so that's what I went with. The drink was so cute when it came out with the handle! The boba was fresh, warm, and had a subtle sweetness that I loved. It paired nicely with the milk tea, which was light and not sweet. I really enjoyed it! Even my boyfriend, who doesn't like tea-forward milk teas, liked it too. I'll definitely be bringing him along next time. The aesthetic of the shop is also gorgeous. I loved all the little details--from the baristas' outfits to the tea bar setup and wall decorations. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and very picturesque. I'll definitely be coming back for another Bubble Milk Tea, and next time I want to try something from the Grape Series since I love Asian grape flavors. Looking forward to it!

The Vietnamese iced egg drip coffee was exceptionally well-made and truly impressive - an absolute must-try! I noticed they also offer Basque cheesecake, taiyaki, and other snacks on the menu. However, I wish they would introduce more unique desserts to match the coffee, such as French Mille Crêpes cake or Asian-style snacks.
