For once, I'm not annoyed that I spent $10 on boba tea--because this wasn't just some boba tea. It was really good! I'll start by admitting that most of their teas have caffeine, especially their most popular ones. Since I went at 7 PM on a Saturday, the last thing I wanted was caffeine in my system. When I first drove by, the main parking lot was full and there was a line out the door. I decided to order online--but here's the catch: you can't pay online, so you still have to wait in line to get to the register. The website warned that weekends can take up to 20 minutes for orders. Given the crowd, I figured it'd be longer, but I went in at the 10-minute mark, got through the line in under 3 minutes, and my drink was already ready. I settled on the Strawberry Milk Tea. It recommended 80% sweetness, but I wish I had gone for 100%--it wasn't that sweet to me. Then again, maybe 100% would have overpowered my toppings, so no real complaints. I requested less ice, but I think I should have gone with regular ice because it wasn't that cold. This makes me think it might have been made sooner than the 13 minutes between ordering and pickup, though I did see them take it out of a refrigerator. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The venue itself isn't very big--some seating, but not much. I'm not a fan of the register setup; you're standing very close to others while waiting, and the line runs right in front of the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From what I saw when I first drove by, the line sometimes even goes outside. Now, back to the drink--it was filling and one of the best bobas I've had. Out of curiosity, I tried the cheese milk foam. It was thick as expected, but the second it hit my stomach, I felt instant regret. For toppings (extra charge), I chose blueberry, green apple, and strawberry popping boba. They gave a generous amount, and each was packed with flavor. Overall, a solid 5/5. They have a wide menu, and I'm already planning my next visit to try more.

Love this place every time!! It's right by the H-mart, so perfect for a post grocery treat. I didn't get the taro this time but they use real taro and not the purple powder, which makes it so much better. Tea Top is a quick stop boba place! It is located in the same plaza as H Mart Doraville so there are plenty of things to do in that area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop itself is rather small as the only seating inside is a small bench, so it definitely gives off the vibe that it is there for convenience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is fairly minimalistic, but there is a giant boba statue if you want to take pictures![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is pretty quick, but I usually go during off hours so it has never been too busy. I ordered the Passion Green Tea Medley. I got it with regular ice and less (50%) sugar as I made the mistake once of getting regular sugar and it was way too sweet. It is safe to say that I made the right decision in getting less sugar in my drink this time. My drink tasted good, but it did not blow my mind. I think that Tea Top is a good option if you are looking for a quick boba fix.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The menu is displayed above the order window, which is mostly easy to read, though the angle and distance might make it challenging for kids or older visitors to see clearly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered my go-to drink--the one I use to judge all Boba shops: an Oolong Milk Foam Tea at full sweetness. At just $5.25 for what I consider a pretty large cup (at least 20 ounces, though they didn't specify), the price was a pleasant surprise. It arrived quickly, too. The best version of this tea I've ever had was at a shop in Atlanta that, unfortunately, closed during the pandemic, and another in Los Angeles. So, I'd nearly given up hope of finding a comparable version in Atlanta. But to my delight, Tea Top's Oolong Milk Foam Tea was perfect! The milk cap was rich and creamy, melting seamlessly into the tea just as it should. The sweetness level was spot-on. For the price and quality, this is now my go-to Boba shop for Milk Foam Tea. I can't wait to return and try their Boba Milk Tea next!

You walk into a small shop and place your order at the counter, then pick up to the window on the left. My son ordered the Taro, and was told they used real taro, so it was going to be grainy. SOLD!! I ordered one too. The majority of places use the powder and I wasn't even going to order. Glad I did. It was 50% less sweet and it was delish! Both my kiddos enjoyed their teas!

Here's what we had the review of the person who consumed it. Me first! Brown sugar Jasmine milk tea with half sweetness and no topper. The sweetness was perfect for me. Pearl milk tea (13yo): tastes like Thai tea. It's sweet, but has too many balls. Brown sugar ginger, with full sweetness, served hot (adult): wouldn't order it again. It's kind of watery and the flavor isn't concentrated enough. Brown sugar jasmine milk tea with full sweetness (12yo): not sweet enough so doesn't like it. Strawberry milk tea, full sweetness, add pearls: just ok, not the best she's ever had Strawberry mango smoothie (split b/w 4yo and 2yo): oldest loved it, little one rejected it This is an on the go establishment. It runs efficiently with the expectation you will take your food to go. There's only seating for waiting, not enjoying. There's also no public restroom, so plan accordingly.
I missed Tea Top since the Johns Creek location shut down. This place is in the Super H Mart shopping center with plenty of parking. Walking up, I noticed this place is basically made to be grab your drink and go. There is no place to sit and drink here. The front counter has a wall and plexiglass where you can't even touch the employee. Reminds of a bank. I ordered one of the top 10 drinks: Grapefruit tea. I will say this drink was amazing. The sweetness and flavor was on point. Many places are either too sweet or not sweet enough. My drink was perfect! I can't wait to come back again!
Tea Top has been one of my favorite and go to boba stores ever since I discovered them in 2018-2019! The service is absolutely amazing having had the opportunity to partner with the owner (Matt) on multiple occasions for university fundraisers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior has begun to open up further since the COVID restrictions and has more ample seating and waiting areas to accommodate the business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Living 40 minutes away, I will come to Tea Top whenever I'm in the area! My favorites include the Sun Moon Lake Black Milk Tea and the Earl Grey 3Q. The best thing is that the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than other boba stores while maintaining a similar or higher quality! Cannot recommend Tea Top enough!
I love the tea here! The prices are very reasonable given the other places in the neighborhood and the drinks are always good. I got a red bean slushy this time and it was delicious. The service is also pretty fast even though we had a lot of people in our group. Sun Moon Lake Fresh Milk Tea: 10/10 If you know me, you know i loveeeee boba. Tea Top has been one of my favorite spots ever since discovering it a few years ago. It is a small place that doesn't have seating, so it's more of a grab and go vibe. This doesn't take away from how fresh and good their tea is consistently!! Located in a shopping complex packed full of competitors, this spot stands out by doing the basics really well. - Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea: If almost every single person is talking about a drink, you should probably get it. This black tea was full-bodied: rich, slightly malty and cocoa-y, perfectly sweet. I was nervous initially as I'd read this tea has minty notes, but I didn't notice this tbh. - Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea: Noted to be their top seller, this green tea was light and pleasantly floral with minimal sweetness. It grew on me the more I drank, but was overshadowed by how much we liked the previous tea haha. The boba pearls themselves were nicely chewy, no notes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is more of a grab-n-go vibe, there are some benches to sit on while waiting for your drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fast and friendly. This is one of the very few tea chains that still exists in Taiwan. I was just in Taipei and saw this same Tea Top store in Ximending. Which is a rare and authentic tea find. In case you are a boba tea fan and still don't know, the origin of bubble tea is Taiwan. This specific shop is labeled as Atlanta, which is still ITP but this shop is in the Doraville Hmart Plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you are looking for any atmosphere and vibes, it's not going to happen here. This shop is set up for pandemic with bullet proof glass and isolated waiting area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Tea is straight forward fruit teas and milk teas, and they taste like old fashioned Taiwanese tea stalls. No frills, and no trendy teas. Just consistent teas. Service is friendly enough, but it's beat to know what you want from the exterior menu window poster before walking in, so you don't hold up the line. Drinks here are not too sweet, so if ordering a citrus tea, order at least 70% sweet (otherwise it will be too sour). read more

Ordered a strawberry mango slushy with boba. It was delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day especially for those looking for a non-caffeinated beverage. They had a lot of non-caffeinated options, but I wished that they had pictures on the menu to see what the drinks looked like. I went to Yelp to see what looked good and that's how I landed on the slushy that I ordered. As for the ambience, it's definitely a casual spot. the inside is a walk up counter where you order. There is a small seating section just for those that are waiting, but there are not any tables or anything. The prices are a bit high, I ended up spending seven dollars on one slushy with Boba. However, I think it's worth it for an occasional delicious treat and it seems like they use pretty high quality ingredients. The service is also pretty quick. I waited maybe less than 5 minutes. read more

I just got food at H mart and was looking for something to drink on the drive home and my sister suggested this place. It doesn't look super noticeable but once inside you can tell it's a boba shop. We ordered and wait only about 5 mins til our drinks were ready to pick up. Overall it was good. The only thing was my tea was extremely sweet for being 50% sugar. read more

Very small quick stop for boba/milk tea pick up space with no dine-in space. Very cute modern minimalist vibe. Delicious milk tea at affordable price. Teatop is my GO TO spot for boba tea! My current (for the past 2 years lol) order has been the signature alpine green milk tea. It has the perfect balance of a fragrant tea and milk. The boba here is cooked to perfection and not too hard or mushy. I also love that they will ALWAYS ask your sugar and ice level in case you forget to mention. And the really adjust accordingly ! Every time I ask for 50% it is really 50%. I would say they are always consistent, which makes me come back time and time again cause they never disappoint. Other drinks that I would to get here are the grapefruit green tea and the passion fruit medley! Their fruit drinks are sooo good! Tea too can really do no wrong in my book, only thing is that they are closed on Tuesdays. Overall, this is my go to spot for boba!! read more
Visited Tea Top for a boba after an H-Mart run! I love this H-mart plaza: there's so many good restaurants and shops, plenty of parking, and Tea Top is right in the middle of it! Right now there's not really seating, it's only a takeout window but that was alright for me. I had the Brown Sugar Jasmine Milk Tea at 50% sugar with pearl boba and it was absolutely delicious and the right amount of sweetness! I can't wait to go back and try the other flavors (they have a huge variety of milk and fruit teas and even slushys!) read more

I had Matcha slushy. The price is good for the amount of money we paid. By far this is one of the best Matcha boba I ever had. I definitely recommend this place! The location is also wonderful. It is located in this shopping plaza where you can find other goodies too! read more
I have heard of Tea Top, and the reviews are good. It seemed like the perfect treat for my daughter after getting her vaccinated. Tea top was a little difficult to find, because it's in a huge shopping center. When you walk in, there is this giant plastic boba which was really cute. It's not a very big place, and not much room to sit and veg with your tea so we took ours to go. You can order online which is nice so you can avoid a wait. They have lots of different teas including milk tea fruit tea, traditional tea, slushies, hot tea...the list goes on. My daughter ordered the thai milk tea with boba. Prices were fair, but unfortunately they don't take AMEX. I didn't have my other card on me, so this really nice lady offered to get it for me, and cash app her. I was so surprised in a good way about this nice gesture from her. I only wish they had more boba in the drink, but it was really good. My daughter definitely snarfed it up. I drank some of hers, and was equally pleased with it. I would say for a sweet treat, this is definitely on the list for boba. Just don't bring your AMEX! read more

Wow -- I am a little surprised to see such a high review score for Tea Top. Not trying to throw shade in any way but I still think Kung Fu Tea and Greatea reigns when it comes to milk tea in Atlanta. Tea Top is located in the Doraville Hmart plaza and opened when the milk tea craze entered to Atlanta in 2017/2018. They used to have a dine-in seating area but now it's a pick-up n' go kinda place -- my assumption is due to COVID. Tea Top is your typical bubble tea place with variety of milk tea, fruit teas and smoothies to choose from. I, for some reason, don't remember having the best experience here but my friend was begging me to go so I decided to check it out with them. I ordered the oolong milk tea with boba and because it's such a pick up n' go kinda place now -- we were able to get our drinks pretty quickly. The review of the milk tea? It's pretty solid. I mean but it's hard to be objective because there are now MANY places in Atlanta that could do boba like this. Several people I know think this is the best bubble tea in ATL and I'm sure they have their reasons -- but for me, it's solid but I don't think it's the best. Also, because I live OTP and it's far from me, it's not something that I constantly crave or want to make the 30 minute drive for. There is also a KFT 5 minutes from here and I'd rather go there when I'm in the Doraville area. Again -- stil pretty solid but not my #1. read more

There was a little waiting spot but most people were waiting outside. ------FOOD & DRINKS------ Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea with added boba - I got the regular amount of sugar and ice. It was PERFECT. This is the best boba I have tasted in my life and I have tasted a lot of boba. The flavor is so smooth and I was sad when my drink finished. ------PRICE------ The drink price came out to around 6 bucks with the added boba which is the typical price for a boba drink. WOULD I COME BACK? YES. I want to try the entire menu and order a gallon of the Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea. read more
Teatop is very popular--apparently, it's the go to place in Chamblee. When I stopped by, there was a GIANT group of people (mostly younger crowd) waiting for drinks...after I had lunch, shopped around, and came back, there was still a giant gaggle of people outside! Absolutely cray...bright side is that the line goes by quick and drinks are decently quick as well (I think kids just like to hang around outside after they get their drinks). The drinks are decent--tea is brewed well and boba is cooked just fine. I have to say that places with "fresh boba" are better (I know a couple spots in Duluth), but this is a solid joint. Are they considering re-opening their seating-area any time soon?
No. Unfortunately, they have not considered re-opening their seating area again.
Can any of the milk teas be substituted with soy milk or any vegan milk? Would love to take some of my friends here, but it seems like they are very limited to just some of the clear teas.
Their regular milk teas are made with non dairy creamer. Their fresh milk series can be substituted to lactose free milk. (I don't know if this helps) They also have fruit teas and slushees your friends can try as well.
