As soon as we arrived in Denver, we felt the need to get some boba- so we looked up on Yelp somewhere well reviewed and close, and Tea Street came up as a result! We ordered one jasmine green milk tea, one passion fruit green tea, and a Hawaiian fruit tea. The jasmine green milk tea was typically yummy- the drink had a very strong and satisfying tea flavour. The passion fruit green tea actually included real passion fruit seeds- which is pretty rare for boba places to have, we've noticed. Another thing we thought that really stood out was the amount of stuff in the Hawaiian fruit tea: some of the fruits included multiple citrus slices, strawberries, grapes, and others. In fact, the drink was nearly half fruits + added toppings (boba + lychee) and half actual drink, but either way, a unique and yummy drink! The staff were patient and friendly as we looked over the menu, and answered our questions as we asked them. In conclusion, would we come again? Yes! The Boba Bubbles were a great consistency, tasty and plenty of them! I got the Hawaiian Fruit Slush with added boba, it was the first thing to catch my eye and when I asked about other super fruity ones she'd recommend she told me I could go for the slush over the tea version and it is AMAZING. This is my second time here and I really need to remember to keep them on my list. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, their restroom was remarkabley neat and modern, wonkey sink, LOVED it, lol, they have new lid plastics with cute pandas, and did I mention the boba bubbles? Boba was small and hard, lacking the signature chewiness I was expecting. They didn't have almond milk tea which is normally a staple in a boba shop, and should have been the first red flag. The passion fruit tea itself wasn't bad but they topped it with passion fruit seeds which made it unpleasant to drink in my opinion. While the interior is cute, it's not worth the expense. Tea street makes a great refreshing jasmine green tea without boba. The floral jasmine tea really shines though the milk tea and that's usually the reason why I prefer jasmine green tea to black tea or even oolong. The boba was made to my liking and wait time wasn't too bad either. Prices are comparable to the bubble tea shops around the area. I was really disappointed Tea Street. The guy who helped us seemed annoyed with our questions, which we had plenty of, since this was our first time here. He also kept correcting me because I did not say "Taro" correctly. Having a condescending tone with new customers is NOT a way to get them to come back. I even asked him for suggestions, and he couldn't be bothered. As for the tea, I got the taro with boba, and basically thought about how I could have better spent the $5 I had just wasted. My mom did not like hers either. So basically 2 days later, after keeping our teas in the fridge because we hoped they would get better, we threw them away. They pride themselves in the way they make their teas, and when I asked if they could mix taro and coconut together, I was told no because of the way they make each cup individually, and not with the powder stuff. I think I'll stick to the powder stuff because we did not like the way these teas tasted at all! The one thing I did like, which is the reason I give it 2 stars, was the boba. Good luck tea street. I hope you train your staff to be nicer and less condescending to the customer. read more

Great boba tea shop. If not the best i have been too. Using tea is actually a focus for them. They are sure to not over steep there tea in order to maximize flavor and cut out any bitterness. Oolong tea and green tea is specialty. But use black tea and seasonal special is rosebud (floral but delightful). But the stars of the show are. Taro slush (like purple sweet potato). They bake fresh taro till tender almost to where it could make poa. And probably best/strongest taro ive had. Next up is the mango slush. Incredible tastes like eating fresh ripe mango. And the description of how they do it sold me. Peel fresh mango. Cover in brown sugar then roast it allowing sugar to carmelize and lock in moisture. And my third place goes too green milk tea. Wintermelon tea is my fave and this place makes it better than anywhere I've had. It's made fresh here too! And not with a syrup like almost every other place usually does. The staff was so friendly- I couldn't decide between their different wintermelon offerings and after I chose lemon they gave me a kumquat one to try since they said that one is their favorite. How friggin sweet is that!? As it turns out, the kumquat one was a little better than the lemon, just cause it was a little different citrus-wise.
