I asked my husband to get me a passion fruit yogurt drink from here. They gave him a very obvious wrong flavor. He questions it, but has no idea about boba, so assumed they were telling him the truth. 10,000% absolutely not passion fruit, tastes nothing like it. Honestly, I'm always a little disappointed here. I wish it weren't so! It feels like every time I stop in here, they are always out of something that I want to order. A few times it's been the boba, and this time it was the Oreo crumbs. I don't experience that as consistently at other GongCha's so I'm not sure why that's been the case at this location. It's the closest boba place to me, and I wish I could rely on it. Other than that, the service was quick, the person was friendly, and I enjoyed my drink! read more

4.5 stars. I didn't know we had a Gong Cha in Denver! Now that I think about it, I might have noticed it every time I ate at Sushi Den across the street. Anyways my friend and I walked here after lunch for a sweet treat. Parking is usually a pain, but this is one of the first times I've been around here during the day. I ordered the Milk Foam Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea (with boba) at 75% sweetness upon recommendation by the barista. Great choice - no wonder it's so popular. Cute spot for hanging out, not to mention it's literally connected to the ramen shop next door that I still need to try. Fantastic service, and there's even boxes of Pokémon cards (for kids only!!) and a secret set of rare ones - to sort through and take from. At any rate, I liked the quality of milk tea and milk foam. Wasn't a fan of the boba - I don't think it's flavored here - but would still come back for the vibes and to satisfy my milk tea/boba craving. read more

I'm so glad a boba shop opened on pearl street so I have a place to chill while waiting for sushi. Gong Cha is a popular chain you can find throughout Asia and Colorado now has several locations. If you are still new to boba drinks, I suggest you ask the employees what their most popular drinks are or what recommendations they have. Also look at the signs for any special drinks they may have. I ordered the strawberry crème brûlée and it was delicious. You can actually taste the strawberry and crème brûlée. It has that burnt layer that crème brûlée is famous for. Just such a delicious drink and possibly the best crème brûlée drink I've had in CO. I order it without boba and I had it with pudding instead. It's a nice combo for the crème brûlée drinks to make it a thicker custard dessert. There are plenty of seating available both inside and outside. Lots of cute decor. It shares a space with the ramen restaurant so the bathrooms are located in the back inside the ramen place. read more

missing the gong cha back in california, i wanted to come here for my wintermelon drink. to my disappointment, it was quite watered down! barely tasted like wintermelon at all, which put me in a pretty bad mood for the rest of the night. i hope that i just got unlucky or that it was running late, and this isnt typically the wintermelon that the boba frequenters of denver are used to! read more

Honey Green Tea at 100% sweetness was not too sweet. Really delicious. Some of the boba was a hair hard so recommend having more fresh boba pearls on hand. But otherwise really great spot and fantastic location. Can't wait to go back! read more

Overall, it was a good boba place. The inside is cozy and there are chairs to sit on while waiting. There's also a direct entrance to Sukiya Ramen. Only one person was working when I went. She was very helpful but it slowed her down quite a bit. The kiosk was basically useless because there's an extra charge for you to use it and it definitely defeats the purpose of having it there. I was also disappointed that they ran out of boba. I think that this should be an ingredient that you shouldn't ran out of considering the type of business. Otherwise, I think it's a cute place. It is Mother's Day. I was there with my 84 year old mother and my daughter. We had to wait a very long time for someone to take our order as they only had one person behind the counter who was taking orders and fixing drinks. Not a big deal.... However, another employee comes in, sees how busy it is and disappears to the back. He finally reappears and takes our order several more minutes later.... Not great but okay. We finally get our drinks and go outside to sit. A few minutes more he comes out to tell me we took a wrong drink and need to pay 8 more dollars to cover it. I tried to explain that they were standing there when we grabbed it and said nothing. I have never been there before and didn't know the system. I wasn't given a number even. He was insistent. I paid for it but one would think that given our long initial wait, and we obviously weren't some rogues purposely grabbing someone else's drink, we might have got a pass. Can't recommend. read more

This was such a cool little place to stop by. Came in with a friend and we're greeted with friendly help who answered our questions. They were patient with new customers who've never been in before. As someone who likes milk tea way too much for his own health, I was pretty psyched to have this place move in nearby. Unfortunately, their milk tea is pretty bad. I'm not sure if they use some kind of artificial sweetener, but if you've ever had coffee with Sweet & Low or Splenda, it's got that same bitter aftertaste. Even the 50% sugar level wasn't enough to get rid of this. Maybe I can find something else that I'll like, but for milk tea, this isn't the place. So for anyone from the business that reads this: please, if you're using artificial sweetener, switch to real sugar! read more

People taking orders were very friendly and super cute :) I love the options and what was available. There are self order kiosks which is nice if you're feeling a little shy.
