We were in a precarious scenario with a hard money loan on two houses and a massive renovation in place. We knew we needed a very knowledgeable and experienced loan officer to help us refinance out of this over-leveraged scenario and into a conventional 30 year fixed, but there were many hoops to jump both on the property itself and our personal finances. Being in the industry for many years, I have had the opportunity to meet with and work with dozens of loan officers, and I knew Mark was the one that could help us. What made matters worse is that at one point we had one car break down irreparably. Bottom line - Mark Aalto and his team were fantastic in supporting / helping my wife and I purchase our first home! What I had envisioned being an extremely painful process, with a lot of difficult roadblocks to overcome, turned out to be an almost enjoyable experience. Mark's Aalto's team were extremely friendly, competent and responsive - they instantly addressed all our needs or concerns (even on week-ends). His team made us feel like a priority, and genuinely had our best interests at heart. Of note is Mark Aalto's personal one-on-one service. Proof of his commitment to myself and my wife was the fact he got us an interest rate in the low 3's due to my status as a disabled vet. He literally would not accept our business unless he was able to get us this phenomenal rate because of my military service (I'm retired with Army with 22 years of service). I did some research on how our low interest rate would impact Summit's bottom line. It showed that Summit would literally make no money from our mortgage. So yes, Mark's a pretty decent guy!
