Excellent instructors and material; top notch. Poor managers with horrible customer service skills who have zero tolerance for being late. I was inadvertently late to day 2 by 29 minutes and denied entry; forfeited the entire fee and was offered chance to reschedule day 2 for $150 (normally it's a bit over $200). No credit for the 100 I made on the written test and no closer to my license. I declined and told them that they are being to severe. My error really hurt me and they made it a lot worse by taking my money for day 2 but not giving me the instruction and getting seemingly upset when I declined to give another $150 and instead filed complaints with the ADOT - MVD, AG, BBB and a few others. To recap, excellent content and zero humanity if you are late due to act of God, medical emergency, getting lucky, anything you might expect a motorcycle buddy to grin and say, no worries...they guys say FU! Pick another school because that excellent online content comes from the state and other places have equally amazing coaches. My 2 cents. It says something about the character of an organization that would rather be stone cold harsh than helpful to an imperfect customer coming to them for help. They took my money and only gave me 1/2 the course. They might do it to you too if you get a flat or you have a fight with your wife and are late. Just saying. I had a great time, it was an extremely calming environment. My instruction Mathew was great, explained everything well, and when I struggle, he took extra time making sure I was able to preform that skill. He was extremely professional as well as being helpful and straightforward with what we were required to do. The whole course itself was laid out for you to succeed, the online course prepared you for the test and both days prepare you for the final evaluation of skills. This is such an amazing motorcycle courses.I was able to take the two day basic rider course and not only were the instructors extremely knowledgeable, but they were also very patient and friendly no matter if you have been riding for a few years, or this is day one for you. They all treat you the same and understand that you are there to learn and be able to get your motorcycle endorsement. They go through every exercise step-by-step and ensure that you understand it before they make you do the practical for it. They are extremely unfriendly with their scheduling. They require you to attend at 6:00 am - already pretty abusive. But then, when you arrive 11 minutes late, they tell you that you are not welcome because you are late. Then they take all your tuition money (refusing to give you a refund) and leave you with nothing except a headache from waking up too early for no reason. read more

I cannot recommend this place more. Experienced teachers who are fun but highly structured and safe. The equipment from bikes to gear are excellent and the course that you practice on is spacious and well suited for the training even with a large group. Dale did great and made the classroom time fun after a tough day in the sun and after lunch. Two days with split time between on bike work and classroom. The price is straightforward and they never try and upsell or nickel and dime you. The group setting quickly develops camaraderie and you will soon find yourself rooting for a stranger lol. If I could offer one recommendation it would be to erect a sunshade, carport or something over the staging area in the summer. It was a little rough out there at 110 and we spent a good deal of idle time there and it also heated up the seats. I guess you could argue that is just more training for what riding a bike would be like in AZ lol. read more

From absolutely no knowledge of how to drive a manual, never riding a motorcycle, and no pre introductory course I was able to pass both the written and riding test with a perfect score in just 2 days! This course was so much fun, and I learned so much. A huge shoutout to my instructor Chris for helping me succeed. There were moments in the course where I doubted myself and he reminded me to just keep moving forward and giving it my all. The teachers do a great job of being knowledgeable and approachable. As shown on the TEAM Arizona website and what's told in class is you get out what you put in. It is possible to pass this course with little to no prior knowledge but the true ultimate test is how dedicated you are as an individual as well. I had never even sat on a motorcycle. I was planning a trip to Southeast Asia and wanted to learn to ride a scooter. I was very nervous and took a class here at the recommendation of a ride shop. Merlot was a great coach. He was very patient with me calmly telling me the same things over and over. But I got it down and my confidence grew. Instructors helped you relax and guide you along your path to learn to ride. I passed my training and not I have my endorsement for motorcycles. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get an endorsement to ride legally. I should have done this years ago. My husband and I took their 2-day Basic Rider Course. We were SO impressed with the class and staff. Classroom - Sean K was our instructor for this portion. He was fantastic. He's a former motorcycle cop, so his real world experience was helpful in setting expectations for the new motorcyclists. He was professional, personable, and did a great job of trying to include everyone without forcing you to speak (I mean, who likes that?). We had 32 people in our class, which initially seemed like a lot but Sean handled us like a pro and the size of the class didn't get out of hand. Classroom is 3 hours each day (with a couple of breaks). Honestly, that three hours flew by with Sean. Range time - Our instructors were Joe and Ally (and Seanna, who was in training). When you sign up, they ask for your height and if you have any experience and then when you get out there they do a good job of matching you with a bike that you can handle (honestly, this was my biggest fear - getting one of those GIGANTIC cruisers). I got a Honda Rebel, which suited me perfectly. The bike experience portion was laid out absolutely perfectly, you aren't expected to hop on and hit the throttle - you're taken slowly through the process, starting with just kind of wheeling back and forth to get a feel for it (which really helped me realize that the bike was the perfect fit for me). They made sure that everyone 'got' each exercise before moving on to the next one. Both days were 5 hours on the range, with breaks. It was five LONG hours because you're working every bit of the time - either actually riding or intently listening to the next set of instructions. They made it fun, but I never for a minute felt it an unsafe kind of fun. We were exhausted at the end of both days (be sure to get a good night's sleep and drink lots of water, because there is a range test at the end of day two). While the classroom size was 32, our range class size was much smaller - they broke us into three groups (12, 12, 8). I felt like we had a lot of individual attention (they even wrote our names on the front of the bikes so that they could address us by name, which was cool). The bikes seemed well-maintained, no one seemed to have a problem with them, the staff even rides each before every class to make sure they're in perfect shape for us beginners! My husband is a former paramedic and I used to work in the insurance industry - we both highly recommend you at least take this kind of course before you get on a motorcycle (many insurance company's offer a discount for successful completion). Team Arizona has more learning opportunities beyond the Basic Course, too. After day one of the class we decided we'd be pursuing the next class in a few months, after we get some experience under our belts. Go online and book that class now! I took the BRC on 1/30/22 and I was super nervous, feeling like I was being rushed or pushed past what I was comfortable with as someone who doesn't know anything about motorcycle's and being a woman. The instructors Keith and Robert made the whole experience very comfortable and well within my limitations. Every step was made very clear and there was plenty of time to practice for the celebration (test) not to mention James, the classroom instructor who made learning all this new information very simple and to the point.
