Presenting our meal to the team.

Our team came by for a team building event after a long day of meetings. We had the absolute best time. I would highly recommend this place for any team building event. Good laughs, great food, and a wonderful (and funny) staff!

Last week, my company used Teambuilding with Taste for our staff training, and it was a great success. I'm not just saying this because my team, the Wing Girlz, won the competition. It was a fantastic opportunity for the whole staff to get to know each other in a different setting. It was wonderful to enjoy a lunch that we all cooked together and to taste everyone's different variations of food. I would definitely come back!

    One of the meals!

We had a great experience!! Our team wasn't sure what to expect at first, but once done everyone had great things to say. The food was fun to cook and everyone had a chance to work together. We will definitely be back!

Super dope wine venue that's much more than your typical bottle wine shop…read more So it's in a shopping strip mall area so there's free parking there. It's on toward the end of the shopping strip so it's not hard to find. You'll look at the building and there are some indoor and outdoor seats for you, and it's very neat and clean. Coming inside it's a lot bigger than what you would expect. They have a wall of wine, as they should, they have a back room where they do tastings, and not like four tables that are set up. They have like tastings and cooking lessons as well so there's tables and stoves and all sorts of things. They have a full kitchen with a kitchen menu that I hear. The fool was pretty good. I actually didn't try the food on the first time around because I just eaten and I just wanted to stop And to see what it was about because it's been on my list. When I went I sat at the bar and the bartender (Tay) took care of me. She was super cool and we had a good conversation. The bar has liquor there so it's not only wine. They have a very limited selection of liquor but there is liquor there. They have a cocktail menu, again. It's kind of limited, but they can pretty much make whatever you need. But the show the spotlight is going to be on the wine selections. Wish they had plenty of them. I was picking out a wine to try and she definitely helped and gave good advice and led me in a good direction. She was awesome. Now they have a wine club. This wine club is pretty good, so I may consider trying it. I'm already part of wine club elsewhere, but this one might be a little bit different. For the wine club you pay a price and you get about four bottles of wine, but you also get to do all of the tastings as well. You get the good a membership discount if you bring people in to dine-in as well. There's a lot that goes into it. There should be a picture of it in my review so check that out. Oddly enough, they also have trips that they go on for people who want to visit different wine venues. It's really surprising because that isn't a small thing to take group trips to some random part to sample wine. But if you're a wine drinker, and you have the the money to spend, this would be cool to be around like-minded people. They really have a lot to offer! I thought it was a really good random walk-in for me, I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was good, the selections were really good, the customer service was really good, it was great on all parts.

I booked the Hot Havana Nights cooking class for the evening of Saturday, 11/19/17 for my boyfriend…read moreand I as part of a birthday surprise. This class is part of the Fusion of Flavors series that features an internationally inspired menu focusing on a cuisine from a different country each class. There were three staff members present to help with the flow of the class -- one chef (Chef M.), and two assistants. Chef M. was phenomenal. She led the class with confidence as she gave demonstrations, useful tips, and instructions. If I could rate her separately, she would easily receive a 5-star rating from me. The class was full the night we attended. I believe there are somewhere between 16-20 seats per class. About 80% of our class was made up of a large party celebrating a birthday. To say they were a rowdy, slightly annoying bunch would be an understatement. This is when I learned lesson #1: YOU ARE AT THE MERCY OF THE OTHER ATTENDEES. After a slightly slower start, thanks to pausing for the large group to take selfies and group photos before we began, we went right into preparing the meal. The meal consisted of 3 courses -- salad, entree, and dessert. The group was slit into teams -- we paired up within the teams to tackle each menu item. The recipes were easy to execute -- nothing too daunting. Plus, Chef M. and the two assistants were on hand whenever you had a question. Chef M. walked around and checked our progress regularly. Ohh I should mention, wine was available before during and after class :-) When all was said and done, we sat down at the table to have our meal. This is when the wine pairing section of class began. We were given several wines to taste throughout the course of the meal. Unfortunately, by the time I got to the table with our main dishes, NO chicken was left. Apparently, one of my classmates took two pieces, leaving me with only side dishes and salad. This is when I learned lesson #2: GET YOUR FOOD EARLY. If someone gets a double helping in your class, be sure to make a fuss. You spend $80 for a nice dinner, not two sides and some wine. Overall, I enjoyed the way the class was structured, the kitchen/venue, and the staff. My only regret is that I went the same night as the large group that basically took over our class.

We had a phone consultation where we discussed limitations regarding my diet. He went on to explain why I was incorrect in my beliefs and what my natural path doctors instructed. He explained that he has several cancer patients, and they eat the items I listed. The conversation took a twist where he stated that a "personal chef" would mean he would cook for me 6 days a week and I would pay $135k a year instead of him being able to pay a certain ethnic group, I will not say here, to cook. That was just one of the twists. As he continued his combative manner I reached enough, thanked him for his time and hung up. I was in disbelief with my experience speaking with him, however open enough to give him benefit of the doubt, so I called Chef Boyan back to find out if he was trying to help me or simply irritated with the conversation to which he said he did not understand. I tried to explain, and he began to talk over me. When I stated I would no longer be able to talk to him if he continued to talk over me, he said to my utter surprise, because you are stupid. I cannot say I was polite after that. He said more combative statements and hung up. I could see if he asked are you open to broadening your view on your diet, otherwise I cannot provide my services to you. However, if you change your mind, please keep me in mind. That is how one communicates in an intelligent and professional way. Chef Boyan Trgovcevic is one of the rudest human beings I have ever encountered. It is my belief, if you take what he has to offer "as is" maybe no problems, but any deviation watch out. If you think he will not bring this energy to you, you are mistaken. His food may be superb, I will never know!
