I do not know what's happened since the last time I got my car washed, which was approximately two months ago. However, the service was horrible. The people taking my request were unfriendly and disinterested. When I received my car, once again, the help was disinterested and unfriendly. When I got into my car, I noticed there was still trash in the car door and they didn't clean the cupholders and I could've taken pictures. Many other things that I just wanted to get out of there. Dykstra has always been my favorite car wash however I'm on the look for a new one. Any suggestions? read more

I went to the car wash today because I had my dog in the back of my car and needed to make sure to get the fur out of the back of my car and sand from the beach. When I arrived, I told them specifically that that was my main concern, and they assured me they would do the very, very best that they could. When I got into my car, I didn't think to look in the back because they had the backseats up so I couldn't see and so I didn't notice until I got home that the back of my car was filthy. There was sand everywhere and fur everywhere. they very clearly did not wipe down any part of the back half of my car. It was almost as if they hid the back by moving the seats up. It's sad that now that I came home from the car wash. I have to now vacuum my car myself. read more

I tried to go through the do it yourself wash. The vacuums for the weakest I've ever seen. I figured I'll just finish vacuuming at home. Next, the screen to purchase the wash wasn't working. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience that mirrors many other reviews I've since read. I brought in my brand-new 2025 vehicle for its very first wash, expecting a high level of care and professionalism. Upon picking up my car, I immediately noticed a scratch down to the paint near the driver's door handle that was not there before. After already paying for the service and leaving a tip, I brought this to the attention of the manager, Ken, who was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. He outright denied any responsibility and made no effort to address or resolve the issue. It's clear from other reviews that this kind of damage and poor customer service is not uncommon here. I used to come here all the time. I was on this side of the city so I stopped in. The inside of the car wash was filthy. I got in my car after it was done and immediately noticed the inside of my windshield was dirty. I asked the guy to redo it. He did. As I was driving away I noticed that much of the dash area had not been wiped down. I spent a good ten minutes wiping it down myself. This used to be a nice car wash. Won't return. Everytime I go here I'm disappointed. This time I went and got a wax and specifically said to clean the back seat and especially the car seats. They did neither. I went to put my kids in and there were chips on the floor and on the side of the car seat. I took apart the seat so they could clean and it wasn't touched. - car seat not vacuumed -backseat half vacuumed - Scuff marks of dirt on the passenger side under the glove box. - Trunk liftgate scuff marks all over. - Dust and crumbs in the trunk not vacuumed. If I could give zero stars I would. Rudest worker ever is the guy to greet you with his tight pants and fake blue contacts. It never fails when I drive up that he is rude and standoffish. You think he owns the place the way he walks around with his nose in the air. He has even insulted me in Spanish thinking I do not understand what he is saying. Wow!!! Just took my new car for its first wash and I wish I would've just done it myself! I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home and actually looked. It was so bad, I spent the next hour cleaning it myself! Water spots everywhere and the goop was just lathered on like syrup... Dirt everywhere in the wheel wells, not even an attempt to wipe clean. Came here this morning to get my car washed and the guy who works the fronts name is either Danny or Manny (had to ask the lady wabi rung me up) whom is very rude. He could definitely use a refresher course in customer service in which he majorly lacks. Apart from that - the gal at the register and the two men that cleaned the remainder of my car were so kind. Took my Cadillac to Lenny Dykstra's for a car wash and after driving away I noticed the steering wheel had been damaged. It has a deep scratch/tear. It's a leather steering wheel and you can feel it's going to start to tear more. I usually don't post reviews, but after speaking with the manager Ken, who had horrible customer service etiquette and was very argumentative I felt others should be warned that this business will not fix any damage they cause to your vehicle. Both my sons and I have brought our cars/trucks here for a long time. It used to be the best car wash in Corona. But since it has changed owners it's been going downhill. I brought my car in a few days ago because my son reminded me to go get my free birthday car wash. So I was informed they don't do that anymore. Well that was just a little perk to being a member. But the prices go up and the quality has definitely gone down and you take away the 1 little perk. Needless to say I was disappointed with my $35 car wash . The guys that are supposed to vacuum out your car don't care and just give it a half a** once over. Then you stand there and wait while they help others who have pulled in after you. So when my car is ready I get in to see it's barely wiped down inside still dust in the door spaces and cup holders and water spots from sitting after coming out of the wash. I have been a client here for 20+ years. The service as the years have gone on is subpar. The young workers are bustling their butts. As the young kid was vacuuming, I could hear that there was no air suction. I commented and he said that they have asked management to fix the equipment and nothing is being done. So after they said they were finished vacuuming the inside, I checked and there's still dirt and crap left behind. I did speak to one of the managers as he gave me my receipt. He looked annoyed that I would ask for quality service. I expect when I'm paying $35 for a car wash that it's at least vacuumed properly. read more

I went in for an oil change and noticed that on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't that busy. Normally, I can be out in 45 min due to the volume of cars. So I'm hoping to do 40 min or less. It took over 1 1/2 hours due to the machine being broke..? No apologies from staff or management. Ok, things happen. I asked, and they said everything is fixed and good to go. So I decided to bring my Wife's car early on Saturday. Again, there are only a few cars in front and in the back, and I hope to get out within the 45-minute time frame. An hour went by and noticed that no cars were coming out. Then I see a large truck being backed out of the machine... maybe too big? What were you guys thinking. So, in turn, another 1 1/2 for the same oil change and wash. No apologies or discount after spending almost $170 on her car. I tried to understand, but this has happened again, and no one acknowledging their issues with some kind of communication. Just swept under rug and hope for forgiveness... When asked if I can sign up and get the free wash since they didn't have my account, they said that "since I was already a member, no." What the fuck. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND GET A WASH FROM THIS PLACE!!! Paid over $30 for a grand slam wash after a long road trip I was excited to get my car clean. Had few trash on the floor, slightly dirty interior area, and dust all over the dashboard. Literally they just quickly vacuumed, washed the exterior and quickly wipe the car. I can even tell that they don't even polish my car or car perfume that supposed to be included. Exterior has many missed spots and interior still dirty. They didn't even take out the trash or even try to wipe the interior. Please see photos of how it looks like after I picked up my car! I made a complaint that they didn't, take out trash, wipe the seats or even try to wipe it clean. The host said that I gotta pay the $80 special? Reallly?? Came here on a Saturday and I will never return. I get it, it's busy. But the lack of quality was just upsetting. I thought if I paid a little more they would take their Time, ahahaha I was so wrong. I had to come home and wash my own mats because apparently they couldn't do it with the money I gave them. It's gone so downhill here. Its also sad to see that the business owner doesn't even try to reply to any of the upset customers. People pay to have their cars cleaned, we don't expect a half ass job. I made a comment to the gentlemen about areas that were just skipped and he tried to clean up as much as he could but then seemed a little nervous to do so because it was time consuming. The management was very understanding when we realized that because of our time crunch we did not have time for the wash. Oh, Team Dykstra car wash and manager on duty (we believe his name is Manny), how disappointed we are with your service and lack of customer service. On Sunday 7/21/22, we brought our car in for a wash and the workers who vacuumed the car closed the doors locking the keys in. The car is older so car does not lock upon closing the doors, as manager said happened. To make a long story kind of short we had to call AAA to unlock the door, set our day back an hour and absolutely no apology or compensation was offered by management. My husband asked the manager for at least a free car wash for all the grief his workers put us through and his answer?, "I can't give out a free car wash every time something goes wrong" (red flag) husband responded with "you have that many issues?" manager's response was "things happen and I don't know what kind of person you are, you can be pulling a fast one" If you have read this far you're probably thinking, well it was one incident in many years; well not really. Lots of things were overlooked because definitely nothing or anyone is perfect, but this blatant disregard of any decent customer service or even an apology was too much to overlook.
