I requested for extra $$$ to have my dog be put to regular sleep by way of anesthesia. I wanted to lay her down and see her breathe peacefully before they gave her the kill shot. I was holding her when I assumed the shot they gave her was as I requested... but instead they gave her the kill shot and she died with her eyes open in my arms. They left the room with me holding my dead dog frozen in seated position... They were told to put her collar and leash in with ashes... burned. They did NOT. She was sick for a while and her toe nails were a little long. She had an enlarged heart that started during the first heat wave of this summer... I thought she was having allergies. Her regular vet gave me stetoids... They fixed the cough until I weaned her off and it started again. They gave me stronger steroids and fluid reduction meds ans told me not to let her be under stress. She hated getting her toe nails cut. She hated baths. Her hair needed brushed...NO MATTS... I ASK THEM TO CLIP HER TOE NAILS BEFORE THEY MADE HER PAW PRINT.... THEY DID NOT. THEY HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING OF DIGNITY FOR YOU OR YOUR ANIMAL... DO NOT GO TO THIS HORRID PLACE.. LIKELY INDIA Indians who really dont care for animals or their humans, apparently. Im devastated. They kept saying im sorry you felt that way.... not im sorry we ignored you... Don't go if you love your animal..

Bella was taken in right away for X-rays, and fortunately, they were able to make her vomit the toy so surgery was not necessary. She was hospitalized for two days due to a fever, and during that time the staff took such wonderful care of her while her intestines cleared up. I want to especially thank Dr. Neubaum for her excellent care and attention, and the entire team for being so efficient, compassionate, and professional. I have been taking all of my pets here, and every time the attention is amazing. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to other facilities I've taken my cats and dogs to. I'm truly grateful for the care Bella received and highly recommend Newberry Animal Center.

A G Local Guide·25 reviews·5 photos…read more 8 minutes ago New If you want a knowledgeable vet that that knows what they are talking about, I would not go here. Today was the third cat (my youngest pinkie) I have brought into this facility because it is very close to where I live. I should have learned after the last visit but...here we are. My cat has been lethargic and sick, she is losing large chunks of hair all over her body. The consensus from the veterinarian was fleas. This makes absolutely no sense as my cat is four years old and every summer this is a reoccurring. Fleas are very common, they were incredibly over-the-top with tons of paperwork and multiple people pretty much implying I have an infestation or something. I brought in this cats mother years ago, and they told me she likely would not live more than three months due to some type of virus, had me spend all this money.(Even told me i should have her euthanized - which seems like they tell a lot of people based off other reviews ) AND that exact cat is still alive five years later and had four healthy babies. I really don't know where these veterinarians got their credentials, but they do not seem like they know as much as they should. I can go online and print out paperwork myself. I do not need you to give me a book and keep beating a dead horse over and over with your flea implications. They are also very overpriced!!!
