I was referred to this location by my Dr. after having a couple of negative experiences with physical therapy. I began this round of therapy after a lower back spinal fusion, and from the beginning they listened to my concerns and based my treatment plan accordingly. All of the therapist and aides are amazing, competent, and very helpful. But I have to give special thanks to my therapist Shannon, who took me from barely being able to bend to tie my shoes to now building houses everyday! She recommended a procedure called Dry Needling, which is basically a more invasive version of acupuncture. Forget chiropractors and massages, Dry Needling improved my function and pain levels after one session. After a month of sessions, I went from using Vicodin and other medications everyday to taking an aspirin once and a great while. As someone who has tried pretty much everything for pain, I highly recommend that you at least try this procedure for yourself. Thanks to everyone at Team Rehab Taylor! My initial thoughts on Team Rehabilitation Taylor were that it really felt like a team of people were directly involved in my treatment. From the front desk staff, Morgan and Anne, who accommodated my scheduling requirements for appointments, to the techs, Jeremy, Shelby, Luke and Alexa, who were understanding and considerate when I needed a little extra help with the exercises and stretches. My experience at Team Rehabilitation Taylor was wonderful. Each of the physical therapists I worked with had a positive impact on my healing process. Shannon who was my main physical therapist, set up a realistic treatment plan for me that we both agreed upon. Shannon is skilled and friendly and gave me confidence when I needed it. Kayleigh is very effective with deep tissue work and she has a positive "can do" attitude that is very infectious. Gina, is efficient, friendly and also very skilled in deep tissue treatment. I have nothing but good things to say about these three wonderful physical therapists I was able to with with during my treatment. After my initial visit, the staff greeted me by name and made me feel comfortable during my appointments. It really did feel like I was a part of a team during my physical therapy at Team Rehab. The staff genuinely cares about the patients and it's evident when you're there and see the interactions they have with all of their patients. I have and will continue to recommend Team Rehabilitation Taylor to anyone I know who needs physical therapy. I was in a car accident just before the New Year in which I got some pretty severe whiplash, and other injuries. My doctor sent me to the Taylor location of Team Rehab, and I could not be more pleased with my progress! The staff there are AMAZING. Matt, the director, is lively and fun and his staff tell me they love working under him. Each member of the staff contributes their own unique skillset to the team, making them truly function as exactly that...a TEAM. THE THERAPISTS Kaylee is fantastic at triggerpoint and gently stretching strained muscles to coax them into healing. She is also friendly and easy to talk to. Her deep tissue work on my pectoral muscles made all the difference in getting rid of tingling and numbing in my hands, which is very important in me being able to do my job. Shannon has the added skill of "dry needling" which released my trapezoids better than any other therapy I have found to date. She is skilled, confident and friendly. She works diligently to find what is going to work for you as a patient and meets you where you are. I think this is a very important quality in a therapist. Dominic has the confidence and assertiveness it takes to get into the deep tissue to get to the root of the problem while still being kind, compassionate and considerate. He is strong, and has a great handle on where the line is between muscle resistance and pain. His upper back and neck work is exemplary and always leaves me feeling like a new person when I leave. Joy's gentle touch is very therapeutic, especially when you are in severe pain. Her gentle methods of releasing tensed-up muscles helped to relieve the week-long chronic cluster headaches I was having. THE SUPPORT STAFF Jared is the glue that keeps everything at Team Rehab flowing smoothly. From shoveling the snow in the parking lot to making sure all the equipment is in good repair, safe and functioning properly, he is a "Jack of All Trades". He not only does all this, but he also keeps up with who is doing what exercises and will often bring over the equipment needed for the next thing in the list. He knows the inner workings of the business inside and out. Even better, Jared is friendly, fun and very capable. Both the staff and the patients are fortunate that Jared works there. Megan is fun and upbeat and always has something nice to say. She knows the patients by name and engages them in conversation, making sure they are feeling well and are on track. She is wonderful and maintaining that line of friendliness and therapeutic professionalism. She is quick, able and gets things done. Her personality shows that she truly wants to help and that she cares. Shark (Marissa) is quiet, solid, and reliable. You can count on her to be there to help you with your exercises, to find out what you should do next, to bring you equipment, or for encouragement and a friendly conversation. She is equally kind to everyone she encounters and you can tell that she likes to be able to make a difference for people in their road to wellness. THE FACILITY The building is clean, orderly and the perfect temperature for the activities we do there. They play a variety of music that appeals to all age groups and genres. The equipment is maintained to a very high level of performance and is always working. In two months of going, three times a week, only once have I ever had to wait for a bed for treatment. And then, it was mere moments before the staff adeptly shuffled and was able to accommodate us all. Fluidly and gracefully. The building's location is easy to find and the parking lot is easy to get in and out. Overall, I am not only satisfied with the service, staff and facility at Team Rehab, Taylor, I am ecstatic. I know I can count on them to relieve my pain and work every day towards making me well again. They are all amazing, and I am grateful. read more

The worst place ever to "attempt" to have your rehabilitation. After the first couple of sessions the PT's basically ignore you. They expect you to retrieve all of your own equipment while they stand around in a group chatting! No monitoring the patient to ensure the exercises are being done correctly or not. Also, you never know who your PT is because you are assigned a different one each visit. Of course that means when someone does decide to finally grudgingly assist, you get a different attitude and level of concern regarding your progress or lack thereof each time. I transferred the balance of my rehab to Beaumont and it was a world of difference! Not only are the PT's more professional but you are assured of having the same caring one each time. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and stay far away from this sham of a so-called Physical Rehabilitation center. read more
