I wanted to write a review to showcase how a process that can often be stressful and defeating can be rewarding and exciting when choosing the right team. Working with Remo Said and the Dream Team (aka Team Remo) to sell and buy was such a great experience and one we will never forget. It started off with a discussion between my husband and I. Who were we going to choose/trust to help us sell & buy? Working with a contingency is a challenge and seemed so frightening to me. This made it even more important to have a good support system. I went to high school with Marysol and we've kept in touch via social media. I looked up her team online and trusting Yelp's reviews we contacted them. Initial virtual meeting with Marysol & Remo went smooth, and we immediately knew that Remo was extremely knowledgeable and ready to work his hardest for us. Within a few days we received the contract, executed it, and Team Remo got to work. Remo and Marysol helped us find contractors to make some upgrades to have a more appealing sale. Remo scheduled a 3D tour and the pictures were so great! Because of Remo's expertise on "what sells" we received multiple showing requests very quickly after listing. In less than 3 weeks we received and accepted an offer! The Team provided us with a timeline and I secretly said to myself "oh no, this can't work". But this team is fire! They kept everything on track, transparent, and no "sugar coating". Jessica (Top notch admin support) worked very hard to keep us updated via text, phone and email. We love you Jess! Now here goes the hunt to start viewing homes. Marysol knew what we were looking for, and took time to understand our needs. She was very good at keeping that in mind when referring listings to us. We were worried about finding something quickly because of our sale already being in escrow. After viewing a few homes and putting an offer out and getting rejected, we lost some hope. But Marysol kept our spirits up and supported us the whole way. Her insight, experience, and knowledge on everything from home repairs to escrow details was above and beyond and we couldn't be more pleased with the service. She even helped me measure and color coordinate when planning (the fun stuff ). Within 4 days of our sale escrow opening we found a home, put an offer, and had it accepted! Now that is quick successful work by the Team, perfect timing, and overall God's grace. BIG shout out to Jessica for navigating what to me seemed impossible (transparency yet again). Escrow's were scheduled to close 3 days apart. Sale escrow got pushed back, throwing off our moving plans/purchasing escrow closing. Fast forward to moving day. We ended up needing to move during the week, with no help from friends or family available. Without hesitating, Remo offered to help. I said "oh no, I can't accept that". He graciously offered and got down to business! Don't let me forget to mention THE BEAST! Kathy called to get us set up with the moving truck that is available when using Team Remo. We didn't have the proper insurance limits to drive it, so Remo again came through clutch and offered to drive it for us. Seriously? Not only is the leader of the team helping us move, but he's also driving THE BEAST for us!? What more can I say other than Class Act service!!!! Marysol & Remo got down to business and helped us pack up THE BEAST and also unpacked it on closing day. Literally packed and unpacked our entire condo. And the best reward: chilled tequila shots. If anyone is looking to sell their home, I highly recommend working with Remo. My husband and I had a great "hands-off" experience working with him to sell my father-in-law's home in La Puente when we live in San Francisco. My husband and I went to La Puente to pick up the remainder of my husband's belongings and meet with agents. We were able to meet with three listing agents and pack up everything in 3 days. Out of the three agents, we decided to work with Remo because we felt that he had a strong marketing strategy, great working relationships with contractors, and an organized, communicative team. His marketing strategy was different from the other agents we met with. He is extremely knowledgeable in utilizing social media advertising and making our home a "hot home" on Redfin. He also did his market research and was able to determine a great listing price. Although we listed our home during the beginning of the stay-at-home order, we were still able to get 7 offers, 5 of which were over asking price. Another reason that we decided to work with Remo is because he built good working relationships with many vendors from his experience listing and selling many homes, like general contractors, stagers, and photographers. From our initial interview, Remo had suggestions and estimates for cosmetic fixes to help significantly increase the home value.
