Very poor customer service. They have a large inventory of high quality machinery. The sales people need a lessen in customer service. After I asked a few questions the salesman became bored and walked away working at his desk. No pleasantries or any sort of kindness. He was completely disinterested In what I needed nor what units were on sale discounted. They have a very difficult location, on a very difficult to find frontage road. There was only one customer in the store for the hour I was there and iff they continue to mistreat customers this way they will never attract customers. We were very interested in a 2022 Polaris General and called Mason in sales. He was very helpful, quoted us a price and took a deposit over the phone. We went to finish the deal the next day and the price went up almost 4000 dollars. He had told us 31500 something out the door and that wasn't true. They added freight, destination, dealer set up and other charges. Not exactly honest pricing. No dealing either. Take it or leave it. They did refund our deposit promptly. read more

They will try everything to upsell you on every unnecessary thing they can think of. Sales people lie about prices, add $600 on top of mfg delivery fee because it come "it comes from far away". $300 for paperwork, that you can do online for free. Somehow they can sell it to you you for 2k less once you bring up other dealers price, but still won't match them. read more

***********UPDATE************* Today I called and asked about winterization, storage and cleaning of my boat. They have done this in the past for me. I was quoted over the phone $800 total with a $100 of if I pay early. I asked if that included the storage just to verify and I was assured by Connor that it did. I made the funds available and headed down. I met with Connor and he pulled up my file and said that now it does not include storage and wanted $1600 Total. I never received an apology for the mistake and no one seemed to care about a $900 mistake that wasted my time and money going down there. I walked out and went elsewhere finding everything I was looking for here at TW for under $1,000. Beware of the bait and switch. 2 stars because last year the experience was decent. ***********UPDATE************* I was in contact with Chris and he assured me the issue above was an honest mistake. Chris apologized and wanted to make things right. Chris went above and beyond to ensure I would be satisfied if I was to take my boat to him. I took my boat in yesterday and things could not have gone smoother. Chris made sure I was taken care of and addressed the mistake that was made in the most professional manner. I made an appointment to get a rear tire changed on my Yamaha Raider. When talking to the service department as to the length that it would take it was told to me about an hour. As usual upon entering it is a clean cheerful place. I was given a pager which is a change from the past a good change since they left me waiting for two and a half hours once before and would not know I was even there if I would not of went to the counter and asked what was taking so long. They apologized so like I said the pager is a good thing. To my dismay I sat again over two hours for a tire change. When the pager went off they told me they had a problem balancing my tire. With all those people having fun behind the counter wouldn't you think it would of been courteous for just one of them to maybe update me on my bike's status. So I went to take my bike home. I looked down to see that my gauge was reading my odometer. As I would of expected singe they had to enter it on the repair sheet. But what wasn't realized is that my gas gauge doesn't always work so like in the past with all my bike I use my trip odometer as my gas gauge. When I got to Team Winnebago I looked at my trip to see if I need gas on the way home so I know what my bike was at. Wasn't I surprised to find that someone had taken a 14 mile joy ride on my bike to make sure "everything was alright" right! Team Winnebago is the only Yamaha service dealer in town what choice to do I have. read more

This was the very first time we have ever walked in to Winnebagoland and we are very impressed!!! We were shopping for a jet ski and My daughter found one there she liked a lot! We were greeted immediately st the door then browsed a little and asked if they could help. We told them what we were looking for the gentleman said let me get someone who knows all about those and we were introduced to Troy..... fabulous he went over specs and features (even though we were girls) didn't even hesitate telling us about the details!!! We had one more to look at and I actually thought they were a little high on their trailer prices so we told them we had another stop. Troy gave us his card wished us luck and gave us his hours there. Needless to say the other place wasn't the same receptive experience, so we called Troy back and told him we would be on our way back to purchase this was a half hour before they closed on a Friday night. The only question Troy had was could we possibly do it Saturday morning because he wanted us to have the full experience. When I told him how excited my daughter was and how disappointed she would be ... he said come on over! We were never rushed, greeted again so nicely when we walked in the place! I took vacation today to purchase a UTV that I found on their website. We hooked up the trailer to our truck; that's how serious we were about coming home with it. When we got into the store, the UTV displayed was more than double the price advertised. Luckily, I had a picture of the UTV (matching Model #) with the asking price on my phone. They said it was a mistake with their website, which they said they had since corrected with a brand new website since midnight. At this point, we were understanding. We found another UTV that had a tag on it. We said, OK, could you just write up what you can do for us, and we will go from there. When the sales manager came back, the quote that was supposed to be a deal for us was over $2,000 more than the tag on that UTV. At that point, I said, "We are DONE," and left the store...VERY disappointed that they don't stand behind their advertised prices, and on top of it, didn't even try to give us ANY kind of a deal when both prices were supposedly incorrect. If I could rate them 100/5 I would. I bought a new bike through financing it was a 950cc which I have never handled anything that powerful. First ride I took a digger and their was some damage to the bike, I went there with my dad to get a parts list to see how much it would cost and to see how much I'd be able to sell it after. They offered to tear the paperwork the. Bike hadn't been ridden for more then a mile. They'll pick it up take a look at it and give me a number to pay to make it the same as when I first saw it and that would be that. I drive 2 hours to bring my Kawasaki here for service. They have always been very honest and fairly priced! Even after not coming in for a few years, they remembered my mom and called her by name! When I came back after leaving my bike for a week for service, they greeted me and asked (specifically) if the Vulcan was getting picked up. Great, friendly service, and I've never seen one of them looking like they're having a bad day. They have even gave me a great deal on a helmet when I bought my first full face! I docked one star because sometimes the sales people can be a bit over enthusiastic about helping you. I understand that they may be commission, and either way selling is their job, but it can come off as pushy at times. When I picked up my bike from service, I stopped to look at helmets. As I said before I have a full face helmet already, but I had decided to look at the half helmets so I could have a better "summer heat" option. Immediately I was approached by a gentleman who started asking about my bike and what I was looking for. I told him I was just looking to see what options they had, and what prices I would be looking at, but I was not planning on purchasing today since I had to pay my service bill. He didn't seem to want to give up. It took me saying (firmly) a few times that I was simply looking at the helmets and had no intention of buying that day for him to leave me alone to help someone else. That being said, some people enjoy having a salesman with them right away and the whole time. I, however, enjoy having my space to look over a product before coming up with questions and looking for a salesman for advice and whatnot. read more

I've been to Team Winnebagoland three times now and can honestly say I was blown away by the experience each time. The first time, I was driving back to Eastern IA from Green Bay and was in the market for a jacket for my new motorcycle. I saw their sign and pulled off to check it out. As others have said, I was met almost immediately after coming in the door. I admit I was a little worried I was going to be followed around and hassled the whole time I was there. It has happened before in places. I told the person what I was looking for (probably Erin) and she immediately took me back to look at jackets. I am an odd size (XL, Tall) and had low expectations that I would find something to fit me. She showed me the perfect jacket and told me all about it. She was very knowledgeable and explained all the unique features. When I mentioned it seemed tight, she said that it is better if it was slightly tight to keep the wind from blousing it out when I rode, and to increase the protection. I bought the coat and a dark face shield for my helmet too. I have been very happy with both. Okay, so that was my first time at the store. The second time was just recently when I rode my bike to the annual airshow in Oshkosh a couple of days ago. I've been wanting a luggage rack but never pulled the trigger before. I had had such a good experience at Team Winnebagoland the first time that I left the airshow before it was over, so I could go to the store before it closed. I was met immediately upon entering by someone who complimented me on my bike and asked some questions about it and about me. He found out my name and called me by it from then on. When he found out what I wanted he walked me over to the parts desk and introduced me to Erin. She greeted me by name and also called me by it the rest of the time I was there. Everybody I met learned my name and called me by it the whole time I was there. I must mention that I came back to the store the next day and everybody STILL remembered me and called me by my name. Impressive. Okay, getting back to my 2nd visit (which was already blowing my mind). Erin looked in the computer and saw they didn't have a rack for my bike. She immediately looked in the computer and saw their De Pere location had one. She told me how to get there and called ahead so they would have the part ready. However, a big storm was cutting me off as I rode north, so I turned back around. I went back to the store to tell them I wouldn't be able to get the part b/c of the weather and would be going back home the next afternoon. Erin said she would call someone there and see if they could bring the part down to her store, so I could get it the next day, before riding home. Now THAT was unexpected! It was now about 10 min before closing, so she hopped on the phone and asked how they could get the part by the next morning. One guy was going to take it home and pass it off to another guy who would come to her store the next day. Okay, so who gives THAT level of service nowadays? I asked Erin if they could install it when I picked it up and she immediately scheduled me an appointment with the service manager (who started calling me by my name!). Okay, so the next day, I get a voice mail around noon from the service guy saying the part was there. I left the airshow and drove the 10 mi to the store. They immediately took my bike back and started working on it. I had a duffle bag strapped to the passenger seat and they didn't take it off; they just worked around it. While waiting, I mentioned to Erin that a rubber piece was separating from the back of my 4 year old helmet. She offered to fix it for me, instead of immediately trying to sell me a new one for $250+. Who DOES that? She opened up a package of epoxy cement and we held the rubber strip on the helmet til it was dry (5+ min). She didn't charge me. It did take a bit longer for them to install the rack than I liked, but that was of little consequence b/c of the experience overall. Since I recently retired from 30 years in sales, maybe I appreciate it more people remember my name and give me exemplary service. We bought a four wheeler from them and it turned out to have many many many problems with it. They "fixed" it 4 times but nothing ever changed! They refused to let us trade it in or at least get our money back! Horrible place! And the people there just don't leave you alone! They can get a little jacked up and they always want to try and help you, so I guess if you are one of those loners who just wants to look around, you may not like this place. However, I suspect if you are one of those loner types who just wants to look around forever, you will also complain when you get left alone for too long and then nobody is around to help you, when it's convenient for you (some people can't be pleased). Long story short, they have good selection, will show you tons of bikes if you want, and will let you test drive them, who else does that? They will do whatever they can to get you on a bike for a fair price with good financing. We just bought a bike this year from them, and will be back to buy another probably next year. We have a "powersports" store in our town, but we drive an hour up to Team Winnebagoland for a reason. Enough said. read more

I stopped at Team Winnebagoland just looking at a new jet ski to replace my old one. It was a terrible experience from the second I walked into the door. I stepped in and was in the door for no more than 1 minute and had probably had 5 or 6 people come up to me and ask me for help. Don't get me wrong, being friendly is good but there is a point when your not actually being friendly. Finally I gave in and told one of the employees what I was looking for in hopes that people would stop bothering me. He showed me ONE option for what I was looking for. Didn't really give me much of a choice, I didn't mind the specific unit he showed me, I kind of liked it. It was a little higher than what I wanted to pay, and had no intention on buying until I had a different loan paid off. I was just checking out what places had for used to get an idea for prices and selections. The salesman offered me a surprising deal after I've only been there for 15 minutes. He offered to pay off my current loan in order to buy something from him. I left a little while later and did my research. Went back a week later with my parents to get a second opinion. They took it off the rack and let me start it up and all. I liked it so we went back in to talk price. The salesman had no say in the price, they have a "numbers guy." It took them 20 minutes to get the numbers guy and a price. In the meantime they made me go through the store to "see what they are all about." I didn't like that, they kind of forced me away from my group and it was kind of awkward. After they had a price they started talking price. The retail price they had and would not budge at all. The price went up. They wanted to charge a processing charge on the jet ski and trailer. When we were talking about paying off the loan the numbers guy asked the salesman about that. He said "I might have said we could pay off his loan if he bought something, but that was a couple weeks ago." First of all it was one week ago. The numbers guy just started laughing and said he would have to take that up with the boss and cannot promise the payoff of the loan. They were also being very rude to my family saying they don't know what they are talking about when we found the real value. I then found one elsewhere and told him to stop calling and e-mailing since they would call every other day or so. He said "congratulations" very sarcastically! Hung up then. That was the end of it. I would say to NEVER go to this place. From start to finish terrible experience. They are all about making money and not about customer service. Even if you just want to walk around you will not be able to do it peacefully. Everyone will bother you! I hope this is helps!!! read more

I acquired a Return Material Authorization and shipped the item back. I received confirmation of delivery from USPS. Fifteen days later, my account still had not been credited. My first encounter with Team Winnebagoland was at a boat and RV show in 2016. I admit that the salesman worked a little to catch my attention. But the points he made about the products they had were so good, that after walking the entire boat show, I went back and put money down on their boat. (Had to explain that to my wife later.) But when she came with me to the store the next day to see what we were buying, she was impressed too with the boat and the staff. It didn't end there. Their finance man was very helpful with the paperwork. We checked the rates against our other sources. Their shop man explained the intricacies of the boat thoroughly and was very friendly. I've decided to keep doing business with them. It's refreshing to have sales people greet you and give immediate direction to expedite even the smallest purchase.
