The school approved a 90-day leave agreement. However, around day 82, before the agreed period ended, the school contacted me and informed me that my program was being shut down. They also stated that I would not receive my certificates and that I would still be responsible for outstanding fees and payments, despite the program being discontinued before I could complete it. I would not recommend this school. As a nonprofit organization, they often experience delays in receiving materials, sometimes taking two to three months. The staff's communication with students is unprofessional, and they do not provide meaningful assistance with job placement after completion. Programs being offered are: Intro to Welding ARM (Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics) Industrial Electrical and Mechanical pre-apprenticeship Since courses are thru grants , FREE Tuition but there's a waiting list. I called to ask simple questions and in response, I received nothing short of a negative, ugly attitude and as if I was a bother or a interruption to their day. I am pretty confident when I say the staff has to be graduates of this DUI program which they are obviously not rehabilitated. I would expect some form of understanding or even a tid bit of compassion as they do not know me or why I am in need of this class. Or even, at least fake the friendliness as this is your job. Where is the customer service here? Especially since their most important role is to attend to the public and answer any and all concerns. Nonetheless, the staff treats you as if you are a trash addict which is unacceptable. I understand people have bad days, but every single time I call, it is the same ugly attitude each and every time. So just be prepared when calling to get information, whether it is your first time, second time, etc. needing to do DUI classes or calling to make a payment, brace your self for the negative response, quick to hang up, and no help whatsoever. But if you're looking for a barber school…read morethat offers an apprenticeship then do yourself a favor and find a legit program that's in it for you and to help you not just take your money. These people lie about time they forge paperwork they will take your money a thousand times over without trying to help. They don't stay on top of their business and will retaliate against you if you decide to contact state board with concerns of your apprenticeship. They lie about a lot and once you call them out on it they will tell you that they're going to file a claim that you are harassing them when in fact all you want is to get your papers sent in to state board in a timely manner. Please do your research and don't go with the cheapest easiest looking school. They will jerk you around and lie about everything.
